A new museum created according to modern standards. It stands out among other local lore with a rather interesting exposition. It seems to be small, but I definitely recommend visiting.
A nice spacious museum with interesting exhibits. According to the guide, they have a real Slutsky belt on display, but on our arrival it was "rest", we saw only a copy. But other exhibits also deserve attention.
Be sure to take a guided tour. There are curious exhibits that he would not have paid attention to himself, but the guide will pay attention, tell the story of this subject. Almost all the exhibits are originals, there are not many copies. There are fragments of real Slutsk belts (which is not in the museum of the Slutsk belt). The only hall in Belarus dedicated to space!!! Friendly staff. It is clear that people put their strength and soul into this museum. The cost of tickets and excursions is symbolic.
An interesting museum; the history of the Slutsk district from ancient times to the present is presented. A separate place is occupied by the personal belongings of the people of the Slutsk district, who have made a significant contribution to life. Attention is also paid to the nature of the region.
The museum is definitely necessary to visit, quite good expositions, many time periods and topics are touched upon, the price for admission is simply ridiculous, although they did not offer the services of a guide, it would be much more interesting, for which a minus star
The exposition is small. Audio guide only. Money is charged for photographing, but there is nothing to photograph and this service was not used. Wasted money.
The museum is small, but it has everything to find out all the information about Slutsk, starting from ancient times. The guide showed everything and told me in great detail, answered all the questions, for which I thank him very much))
The museum is our history, everything is well decorated. There is something to see, to remember how people used to live.Thank you for the opportunity to plunge into the past.
Of course, it is better to visit the museum when a guide is working, especially for those who do not have much knowledge of history). Of course there are signs saying what it is and how, but that's not it. I want it to be somehow connected into a single story) Maybe you need to provide an audio guide, for example. Of course, a large number of exhibits have been collected, there are interesting photo zones, even I understood the activities for children!
It is located almost in the center of the city, there is a lot of information and historical facts, beautiful expositions, guides who love their work. As a person from another city, it was interesting for me to visit this museum and learn something new
We went to Slutsk for this museum. The museum is not very big, but there is something to see! We took a guide, very cheap and very interesting.unlike the museum of the Slutsk belts, there is something to see! I recommend.
I didn't really understand exactly where to leave a review (on the website) about visiting the museum at 171 Lenin Street, Slutsk. Many thanks to Vasily Vasilyevich for an interesting tour of the museum! Most of all, I remember and was pleased with the moment about the unification of people by Princess Anastasia! I really hope that we will come back again when all the expositions and the most mysterious place are opened: the basement. Very intriguing. I would like to point out that you are a unique and rare person of your city! Burning eyes, incredible love for your city and country, passion for your business and work, you glow and convey some kind of unique positive energy, through love for what you do, what you live and breathe. I would also like to wish the further development of this museum! It would be great if some small souvenir magnets appeared at the entrance to remember this city and museum, for example, to negotiate with some local craftsmen, maybe tiny belts for luck, or magnet belts or some other figurines / images. It would also be great to see one or two illuminated layouts showing the life of the city in miniature with people, as in other museums, such visual illustrations attract attention very much. A small number of high-quality paintings (with a twist) of portraits of ordinary ordinary residents of the city would be nice to see, as in the Museum of Local Lore Tours (I have not been to the museum, I saw only from photographs; very impressive). A nice bonus would be a counter at the entrance with small cards /postcards about the places in the city that are worth visiting – sights, museums or parks with names and addresses. For the younger generation (perhaps already there, but we did not hear), add the sounds of the forest and the voices of animals to the hall with nature, you can beat with light and sounds, for example, evening is falling – reduce the light, and highlight those animals that go out in search of food. I understand that the museum is serious, but children could add some task to find a hidden tiny brownie or some legendary warrior in each room, draw or glue such a character in various non-obvious places in the rooms. Thanks again!
A great museum. Excellent exhibits. Quite spacious. Chronologically organized halls. It's easy to navigate.
Unfortunately, the website does not reflect the quality of the museum, I would like to see it improved.
A new renovation, a creative collaboration was made for children - a hall with stuffed animals and a large TV with cartoons. The hall of space is so inviting))
