The cathedral is the center of the Greek Catholic Church. But they let everyone in! Regardless of religion, regardless of clothing. You can take pictures. I also recommend going down to the crypt (basement), where all Greek Catholic metropolitans are buried. Look at the garden. Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky began to grow it. By the way, the metropolitan was a millionaire and an aristocrat by birth (Count). In the courtyard of the cathedral you will see the chambers (house) of the metropolitan. In the basements of this house, Sheptytsky hid Jews during World War II.

There are a huge number of different cathedrals, churches, and churches in Lviv... St. George's Cathedral is one of the most beautiful, a real architectural complex. It looks very rich and majestic from the outside. Judging by the number of newlyweds, this is one of their favorite places for photo shoots.

He visited the cathedral in 1991 on his way to the symposium in Sambor. There was no service at the time of the visit. As an Orthodox, I liked the presence of a great many benches with backs - it greatly facilitates communication with God.
