Our favorite place, we go here all the time, the staff is very attentive and friendly, the hookahs are super, always a pleasant atmosphere, a cozy summer place, the menu is varied, the prices are reasonable, we recommend it to everyone!

Apparently, based on the reviews and how this place looks in the evening, it is a full landing. It is to drink cocktails and smoke hookah that the main direction of the cafe is.
The service is fast, but it seems that pleasing the visitor with delicious food or something memorable is absolutely not part of the purpose of the establishment.
I assumed that the issue was in the management of the restaurant. An error with the price in the menu (take a paper one without pictures), misunderstandings with marketing promotions. But no, very pleasant and interested in success people just haven't worked out yet. Thank you for the compliment.
If we talk about the menu, again, I judge by the breakfast. 5-6 pages of the menu are devoted specifically to breakfast. But all the positions are absolutely not memorable, not appetizing, not creative, unfortunately. The ordered dishes have no flaws, as such and are not bad, but you can't call them tasty either if the ingredients are drawn on the menu, be sure they will be brought and they will be just with hints of taste. Store-bought products a tomato is just the most ordinary tomato without taste and aroma from Magnum, halumi is just halumi the same from a package from the same supermarket, bread is bread and most likely purchased, an egg from the same place, beans from a jar and yes, most likely Heinz)) and these are not complaints of a tired gourmet, but the opinion of a simple the visitor, but it is clear to everyone when the cook takes care of what he cooks from, and when he closes the volume.
In short, Social Coffee is not a bad cafe restaurant, but in Almaty, there are a huge number of places that, at the same prices, you will remember something delicious, interesting and pleasant, and if you just need to eat, then even a large cafe chain will offer you dishes no worse than what is on the menu here and most likely even cheaper.
It is promised that changes in the menu will be made soon. We will definitely return to see how things go further.

The drinks are delicious (we drank lemonade).
We ordered breakfast - honestly, it's not worth it) overcooked toast, cold fried eggs. But the sausages in the breakfast were delicious. They forgot to put the mixed salad, they brought it after they said about it. Chopped tomatoes and cucumbers (there is no other word for this beauty).
The zucchini pancakes turned out to be undercooked and were also cold.
Cheesecakes are delicious, but they were served earlier than breakfast (they ordered everything at the same time).
Taking into account the prices of the dishes on the menu, I think that we need to be more attentive to these points.

Of the disadvantages, I would note the presence of constant hookah smoke, because many people smoke hookah indoors, probably a weak extractor hood is installed, which clearly does not cope. It's not very pleasant, especially if you don't smoke or, for example, stay with the kids!
