I love Sofia, my favorite city. The hotel is lovely. The apartments and the service are excellent. The kitchen is super. No complaints. The views from the windows are stunning - to Vitosha Mountain and Sofia itself.
An excellent hotel in the heart of the city. Historic building, luxurious interiors. Some things need to be repaired, but in general everything is great. Good breakfasts, the lounge was cleaned. There are many guests from different countries. View from the window of the historical excavations. I recommend.
Such iconic words for any traveler: "a Luxury Collection Hotel" turned into a complete disappointment.
The hotel does not correspond to this category from the word at all.
Its only advantage is its excellent location in the very center within walking distance to all major attractions. This is the end of happiness for the discerning tourist.
When booking, a room of 31 sq.m. was promised. I will not tell you in detail how I changed it 3 times so that it could be located +/- comfortably.
I lived on a renovated floor. In general, the technical equipment is modern and good, but the staff does not know how to use electronic do not disturb indicators, etc.
A coffee maker was announced. She was there, but she brewed coffee so that it was impossible to drink it at all. And no one bothered to update the capsules.
The cleaning of the room leaves much to be desired, since the bathtub was once left not cleaned at all.
Breakfast at the hotel does not correspond at all to the category of the hotel and is very far from the idea of a high-quality breakfast in a good "five", and even more so at the luxury collection level. I have something to compare it with.
Summary: normal 4 stars. It requires a total revision of the hospitality policy.
