Luxurious place, beautiful location, and mind-blowing sea views .. If you head to Abu Dhabi, Sofitel is certainly a great place to be.

I am currently staying at the hotel. Excellent room, on the 17th floor (4 elevators). Delicious, plentiful breakfasts. And the dinners are just wonderful, there is a wide variety (fish, meat, seafood: every day everything is in different versions...). On the ground floor there is a buffet restaurant, next to the hall there is coffee and pastries. 6th floor: Thai cuisine restaurant (paid restaurant).
The location of the hotel is the first line, a skyscraper with 34 floors. On the 8th floor there is a large swimming pool, 25 m. There's also a bar with coffee and alcohol. (however, there is a large alcohol store with reasonable prices 100 steps away).
Transfer from the hotel to the beach (2 km) at 09:15 and at 12:15, towels and tickets for free admission are provided. Daily transfer to the Louvre and Saadiyat Island beach at 10:00 to 18:00
(but the entrance is paid).
Everything is clean and beautiful. The staff is efficient. The room cleaning is excellent.

We were here on New Year's holidays together with my husband. A wonderful hotel! I'm glad you chose him. It is large, imposing, with a beautiful lobby. There are a lot of French people among the guests. We had a room on the 28th floor, with a great view! And this is one of the most pleasant memories of the trip! I wanted to stay by the window))) Very tasty breakfasts. There is a huge selection of dishes of both European and Asian cuisine. There is a free shuttle service to the attractions daily, which is very convenient. There is also a shuttle to the private beach, where tickets and towels are provided. The rooms have premium cosmetics, cleaned daily. In general, the most pleasant impressions and memories!

We were here in January 2025.
Overall, the room is comfortable and spacious. Beautiful view of the bay from the window. Good bed linen. There is a sufficient set for tea and coffee. Great bathroom.
I didn't like the long execution or non-fulfillment of additional requests. The staff hardly understands English, they repeat it several times in broken Arabic accents. As a result, out of three requests to bring ice, they brought it only once on time and immediately.

It's not 5 stars.
Yes, it is conveniently located, the room is generally spacious and tidy (the walls and furniture should still be washed and wiped), but the bathroom is yellow (I forgot to take a picture), there is no brush and air fresheners in the toilet (none at all).

The staff is helpful, but they don't know very well where the shuttle goes from the hotel and the city as a whole. You should not consult them((( then the names of the beach are incorrectly called, but they do not understand the map, there is nothing to advise in the city at all, they say, they live at home-work-home and do not understand what is where at all.
The breakfasts and dinners are very plentiful and varied, everything is pleasant and friendly! But they don't give coffee and tea for dinner - only for an additional fee.payment. They say you have a packaged one in your room - enjoy.
There are 2 (!!!) the pool is on the 8th floor.🎍🎍🎍It is very convenient that on both sides of the skyscraper to catch the sun before and after noon, because the skyscraper stands like this.

I liked the hotel. The breakfasts and dinners are excellent. Lots of fruits, a variety of dishes. The staff is friendly and helpful.The embankment is nearby, you can have a great walk. A wonderful festive dinner on December 31.

A great hotel. The rooms are large, renovated, the bathroom plumbing is new, clean. Balmain care cosmetics were especially pleased. The staff was polite, any request was fulfilled instantly. The breakfasts are delicious, the choice is large, ranging from omelets with various additives, ending with various soups and hot dishes. The location of the hotel is also very pleasing, there are many shops and establishments nearby. Well, the Corniche embankment opposite cannot but please. A great hotel that I will return to with pleasure.

A nice hotel with an excellent location. Friendly staff, beautiful interior. Swimming pool (25 meters!!! - this is rarely seen) and a good-level fitness room.
What was somewhat disappointing: the lack of fish cuts at breakfast. The cost of 145 dirhams for breakfast is, in my opinion, overstated.
There were also questions about cleaning the room: when checking in, stains were found late on the sheets and pillowcase, tips were left to the maids every day, the pillowcase was changed, but there were no sheets. They asked me to bring, I'm sorry, a toilet brush, but they never brought it ((
One of the last days, the duvet cover was changed, and there was a hole on it)
The sorting of dental supplies was done irregularly ..
But we were in the hotel itself a little, in general, the pleasure of rest did not spoil all of the above.

A chic hotel, very tasty food, class rooms, a bus takes you to the beach, they give you a ticket to a paid beach, and towels. The beach is closed, sun beds and umbrellas are paid. There are also free buses from the hotel to entertainment parks (Ferrari Park, aquarium ...) Two pools, one on the sunny side, the second in the shade, you can choose where it is convenient, a Jacuzzi both there and there. When we rested, there were few people at the pools, which is very pleasant, you can relax in the evening, for example, after an excursion to the Jacuzzi. In general, I am delighted with this hotel and my vacation in Abu Dhabi.

The reception staff most often does not say hello when you enter and does not show a friendly willingness to serve, 5 years earlier this was not the case, it's bad…
Elevators - some do not read or do not always read the key card, the far right elevator makes terrible noise (
On P8 it is stuffy, dirty and stinks in the corridor from the elevator to the exit to the terrace with the pool
The rooms are clean for 4, the towels are fresh and clean, but not fragrant, the bed linen is good, the comet is of high quality and hypoallergenic, water and packaged tea/coffee is filled daily, nescafe coffee in bags, this is something strange for 5 stars, the pressure in the shower is gorgeous, everything works!
They do not give a vanity kit, according to the ban, they brought only a dental kit and cotton pads, when asked to fill / sow a jar with shower gel, they promised but did not fulfill (((
It's time to update the rooms, make them lighter and more modern in equipment!
The climate system is bad - there is no inflow of fresh air (the windows also do not open)
Breakfasts are generally 4, but for 5 stars it's 3!

I liked the hotel, everything is clean, beautiful, chic.
We settled in quickly, the room has a very good bed, mattress 5+, shower and bathroom, the only water was slightly warm, maybe there was some kind of temporary interruption. Also from the minuses- a damp carpet, probably someone went overboard with taking a bath the day before and very dirty windows) but in general this impression did not spoil. good cosmetics in the bathroom.
Food for 5. The choice is very good, roast beef and rolls for dinner were very tasty. The breakfast is also excellent.
There was only one night, so it was not possible to evaluate all the buns of this hotel, but I still recommend it

A good hotel of the French chain. The rooms have everything you need, not in miniature, even body milk. I have not seen such a variety of breakfasts in any hotel yet, there is even a separate area for children, all sorts of marshmallows and cookies, and very tasty croissants. Excellent location, pleasant area. There is a damp smell in the lobby on some floors, but let's be honest, the climate is humid there!

Excellent hotel, catering for 5+, located in a wonderful place with the main embankment - a great place for walking. Although it is not on the 1st line, but a free shuttle runs from the hotel twice a day (10:00 and 12:00) to the paid beach. They give out coupons for free passage and towels. There are also daily flights to the amusement park and the Louvre Abu Dhabi.
The staff is well-trained, the rooms are clean, in general everything is fine.
Once a week is a fish day, there are oysters, lobsters with shrimp, octopus, salmon (it is present daily) and a lot of all kinds of shellfish.
A small minus is only one Russian-speaking employee at the reception Said (he is located at the entrance behind the counter on the left). Many thanks to him for his help in any matter!!!

A great hotel on the Corniche. Delicious food, clean rooms, heated pool. I give out tickets to the beach, and they take me to it. You can walk, but it's faster to take a delivery. It's bad that the windows don't open, the air conditioners are working. In the heat, it can be a good thing.

This is not a 5* hotel level.
In short, I do not recommend this hotel. There are many other hotels nearby that, according to locals and vacationers, do better.
Upon check-in, the room was very dusty. All subsequent cleaning was not the most thorough. The breakfasts are always the same. I was there for 10 days, and every day there was the same assortment. The restaurants at the hotel also do not deserve attention.

The hotel is lovely. Saad speaks Russian at the reception desk, tells everything, is very friendly and decent! All employees are friendly! The linen in the rooms is changed every day, they give slippers, bathrobes. Water, tea, coffee, sugar, cream, and sahzam are replenished daily. There is a free round-trip bus to the beach. The entry into the sea is gorgeous smooth ... two lifeguards are sitting on the beach.shower, toilet, changing rooms. The chefs in the restaurant are excellent!!! They cook perfectly! The waiters are very attentive. On the ground floor there is a beautiful composition of Christmas trees and gingerbread houses (it turned out that the gingerbread is real). In the evening, you can walk along the embankment along the sea ... you can go to the city- everything is nearby, on foot ... the only thing .... There are no balconies, windows do not open- things dry badly... air conditioners are everywhere, but we turned them off. The rooms are cool, although on the street27. Down pillows and blankets, and ... feather bed😂.... Cons can always be found, but ... there are few of them.... There is a free minibus to the Louvre. You need to take a taxi to the sheikh's mosque, and tickets are free, only you need to issue a quarkod in advance and be sure to completely cover the hands and ankles of women.. and the head.... We were satisfied with everything. On the 8th floor there are two swimming pools, three Jacuzzis👍👍👍

The hotel is gorgeous. Stayed there from December 1-7, in 2022)
We lived according to the NV system (breakfast + dinner).
We ate enough, there was something new every day, but it was always very tasty!
Of course, it's a long way to the beach, 30-40 minutes. But by transfer from the hotel or by taxi 5-7 minutes)
All hotel guests are given flyers for free access to the paid beach, where there are sooo few people.
The rooms are clean, beautiful, neat. In general, I really want to come back)

We must first adjust everything- filling the room, training the staff.A big plus is a shuttle to the beach, free admission. But no one will tell you that you are entitled to free tickets. Very tasty food, except Wednesday- an Arabic dinner can take a couple of days to adjust. And then- paradise, of course at the right time of the year!

A magnificent hotel. I really liked the restaurant on the 1st floor, we took HB, everything is delicious, varied, very beautiful.. There is a Russian girl at the reception. Upon arrival, it turned out that my sister and I had 1 large bed, while we were having dinner, we asked her to divide it into 2 (push it apart) so that they brought more pillows, and another blanket. Also, at our request, they brought adapters, more blankets, an iron. Also a huge plus of the hotel is a scheduled round-trip transfer every day to the main places - Marinna Mall, Beach, Louvre, Yas Mall (Ferrari Park), Saadiyat beach. The view from the 16th floor is cool. We did not go to the pool, as it was windy and cool at the end of February.
