Top comparing to many other cafes in Samarkand. Especially if you are around Boulevard street, there is no better place to chill and get some ice cream whilst this hot summer

The place is just amazing. The music plays slightly below average volume, but it doesn't interfere with conversation. The dishes are very tasty and served quickly. I recommend trying the spinach khachapuri.

We had dinner at this restaurant in October 2024. I really liked the restaurant, I compare it with Moscow restaurants, because we have not been to such establishments in Samarkand. The prices are reasonable, the choice of dishes is large, courteous waiters, a violinist was playing, there were heat guns. We took pasta carbonara, pasta bolognese, 2 milfei, 2 mulled wine, pizza pepperoni, some kind of salad. They gave 500,000 soums for everything.

I really like the location, the location is convenient, the terrace, the landscape is cozy. The menu is more for tourists and is more expensive than a traditional restaurant. The ice cream is delicious, the dessert is sometimes stale. The waiters are friendly and helpful. Live music, 90's repertoire. Children especially like breakfast.

They cook here according to the mood, sometimes it's delicious, but not always, we were there in the summer with my sister and children, ordered steak with my sister, potatoes were served in a rustic way, the steak was very dry , and the potatoes tasted like they were 2 days old and just warmed up , the child ordered cream broccoli soup The soup was sour , when I called the cook and asked him to replace it , he assured me that everything was as it should be . The steak should be dry , even though I asked for medium well , and the broccoli soup should be sour , even though I said it looked spoiled . The child was small and these couple of spoons were enough for him to get poisoned . The next day, when I called and said that the child had been poisoned, the manager was rude and said that it was not their fault and the child could have been poisoned anywhere 👎🏻

A wonderful place where every dinner becomes a celebration! A wonderful cozy veranda, delicious author's tea, homemade pasta, very large portions and excellent serving! The staff is very polite and attentive. And live music, which gives a special charm to this restaurant. Three of our Samarkand evenings came here to have dinner and listen to a musician who masterfully performs on the violin and the melody of Ibrahim from the TV series "Magnificent Century", and Belle from "Notre Dame de Paris", and even "Gray Night" by Yura Shatunov! We had a lot of fun!

We came here twice - for breakfast and lunch.
The breakfast was wonderful - everything was delicious, quiet, pleasant music.
The dinner turned out to be a complete fiasco. Most of all, I "admired" the work of the staff and the processing of complaints.
The restaurant decided that it was a great idea to wash the veranda with a kercher with a sound like you were sitting in the middle of a construction site. When you check with the waiters whether this is normal and whether it can be turned off, they say "now it's over" and .. nothing happens, you continue to enjoy the cacophony of sounds. Then someone also thought of turning up the music louder (suddenly the sound of kercher would interrupt)), and it all became like a madhouse.
In addition, tomato soup with strachella turns out to be served cold, but no one warned about this and there is also not a word on the menu.
Oh, and when I asked to call the manager, he turned out to be "not here yet."
I would have put one if it wasn't for a good breakfast.

This is a wonderful place where you can not only enjoy delicious food, but also feel welcome. The staff here is incredibly polite and attentive to every visitor.
I would like to comment on some of the negative reviews. When a person is dissatisfied with his life and tries to find an excuse for his condition through negativity, this only aggravates the situation. Change your attitude to life, smile more often, be more polite — and everything will change!
Everything around you is beautiful, just open your eyes and enjoy every moment.

Among the disadvantages: 15% of the service fee is automatically included in the bill. I think 15% is a lot, and 10% would be more comfortable. The local rabbits are cramped in the cage, they look rather sad (( In general, the conditions for the rabbits need to be improved, take more care of them so that they do not spoil the impression of the institution.

Everything that was ordered is delicious. But the cuisine is more European than Uzbek. I really liked the desserts👍🏼 Pleasant atmosphere, everything is clean, good dishes. Very attentive staff - only 10% service (in some cafes and 20% came across) . We tried to eat in different places, but we went to Sogdiana twice., and this is an indicator! I recommend 100%.

Large portions, price-quality, which is rare for Samarkand. Different cuisine, there is something to feed both children and adults with almost any preferences.
A pleasant up-to-date interior with a veranda and greenery.
Johnny is a super waiter with the perfect balance of unobtrusiveness, usefulness and understanding of service.
The only cafe in Samarkand that we visited and returned to for the second time

Sogdiana's restaurant was visited by good reviews.
The place is beautiful, not far from the park, there were a lot of people, but they found a table for three of us.
We ordered drinks, salads, a second course and a hot one, which was amazing, they brought everything at once: salads, soup and a hot dish, but everything was no longer hot, but barely warm.
We didn't wait for the Napoleon dessert we ordered and decided to ask where it was, it turned out that it was over, the waiter forgot to tell us about it!
The food is beautiful, the portions are large, it was delicious, but such moments of inattention spoil the picture of the visit.

On the first day in Samarkand, we wanted to have dinner at an Uzbek cuisine restaurant, but they refused to serve us at 2 popular restaurants with high ratings, referring to a full reservation. Fortunately, Sogdiana was there. Everything was at the highest level. The food, the service, the atmosphere. You always expect a trick with the "Italian" positioning in the national flavor, but everything was honest here, almost like in Italy or in good Moscow restaurants. There was one exception - pizza. You don't need to order it there.

An excellent restaurant in the university quarter of Samarkand, among the dense greenery of the park. There are places both indoors and on the outdoor terrace. A large selection of different dishes, everything is delicious and fast despite the large number of visitors. In one part of the terrace there is a huge cage with parrots, they are very funny to watch. We liked it.

The waiters could be a little more attentive to the guests, they had to wait and actively draw attention to themselves.
And everything is fine on the cheese plate, except sausages for beer (I recommend replacing it with brie, chechil).
