We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Brest fortress. We just chose a place on the map by looking at the reviews. It doesn't look like anything special. Inside, everything is beautiful, cozy, and conceptual. But the main thing is the food. It's amazingly delicious. I ordered soup, topped with croutons with bacon, and stuffed pancakes. The soup was good, the croutons with bacon were very tasty, and there were a lot of them. After the soup and croutons, I was already full, but of course I couldn't give up the dranik)) I definitely recommend it!

I came to Brest from Moscow for 4 days. After taking a walk around the Brest fortress, the appetite grew and it was necessary to find a restaurant with local cuisine. In the parking lot at the fortress, I found a flyer on my car for a certain cafe with local cuisine and thought about going there, but I read the reviews and refused this idea. After studying the TripAdvisor rating, it was decided to go to Malt. And for good reason, I went there twice for lunch and dinner during these 4 days. The place deserves at least 4.5-4.7/5 the rating, the cuisine is quite tasty, there is plenty to choose from. While you're driving to the restaurant, do not be surprised that it is not in the center and not on the main street, yes, in the private sector for the most part, but the quality of the institution does not suffer at all!
Their borscht is gorgeous, the pancakes are above all praise!)
If you will be in Brest, be sure to visit!

Delicious food. The Belarusian hamburger is a cannon. M=100kg. What can I say, the dishes were really delicious. Beautifully served. Everything is very appetizing. But the beer turned out to be sour.. apparently, the heat and the lack of a sufficient number of visitors affect the quality of the beer.. my husband appreciated the horseradish. She says it was very tasty))
So I recommend it in principle.but it's better not to take beer while the heat is on)

It's a great place, we were passing through, we stopped by for lunch. We ordered Polish giblet soup, borscht, lard with black bread and, of course, burgers made from pancakes. Very unusual. The soup is similar to our traditional national soup, which we just love! We are from Yakutsk, Russia. We were nostalgic at this point).
The cafe-bar is clean, stylish, and pleased with the quick serving. However, they delayed our baking (they forgot, it happens), but the waiter managed to take it out to us later on the road. We went back by train, the pies came in handy)

For our company of 8 people, we found a place in a separate room, everything was very tasty, the waiters were a top, the price tag was acceptable. We were traveling from Moscow on the recommendation of zhurek and it was here. Sooo delicious. The interior is pleasant and tasteful. The service is excellent. We are very satisfied. Prices are below average. In the city, the average soup is 11-15 rubles, 8 rubles were given for zhurek. Dinner for two: soups, croutons, desserts, tea, coffee total 45 rubles.

3. They took this single bowl of soup to the child, the waitress put sour cream in the soup without asking either us or the child about it. And the son does not eat sour cream. Our dad had to eat soup, the child was left without the first one. We visited the cafe because it ranks first in the city on Tripadvisor. Very DISAPPOINTED!!!! Firstly, we wanted to take kvass, it turned out that there was only one glass of 200 ml left. The cafe staff prepared only 200 ml of kvass for the whole day!? And this is in the summer, when it's almost +30 outside. We ordered lemonade with sea buckthorn, but brought cucumber basil. Okay, we didn't say anything. Secondly, we made an order and waited for the salad for about half an hour first. The hot stuff was waited for exactly one hour. To the question addressed to the waiter (he is also the bartender), why it takes so long to wait, an extremely impolite, even rude, answer followed. They do everything from under the knife, and in general, as the waiter told us, we only waited fifteen minutes. Thirdly, the dishes according to the recipe are quite simple, serving as in the dining room. In principle, the food is normal for a cafe on the outskirts of the city. But! There were fried pancakes that floated in oil (terrible!), the frying itself was mostly carrots. But the salmon pancakes were completely disrespectful to the guests. For a whole hour, the fish was not deigned to defrost (the ice was crunching on the teeth), and not the salmon at all, they deceived. Fourth, the price tag is like in a good restaurant. We visited several establishments in the city, but the cafe "Malt" turned out to be the worst of them.
A complete disappointment!

Draniki, and machanka (I think it's called that). I really liked the tinctures, especially the cherry one! Such an interior was unexpected. I imagined some kind of national flavor. At first I thought that I had made the wrong place. There is also a menu without pictures, before that I read and looked at photos on websites. In general, I managed everything in an hour. The institution at 22-23.00 was 50% full on Sat. I wish the institution prosperity! A bonus for excellent work to the staff! I'll stop by again if I have a chance.

The cafe is just super) my rating is 10 out of 5. The only negative is the location. A very nice waitress who disposes to herself as soon as you enter the establishment. Very tasty food, especially draniki. Low prices, large tasty portions. I recommend it to everyone!!!
