I really liked the hotel. A quiet place, a gorgeous rocky shore right on the hotel level. But if you go to the left, then there is a quiet bay with breakwaters, you can swim calmly without waves, you can swim to the right between the rocks, but carefully, if the waves are large, it hits the rocks... if you go to the beach on the road from the hotel, then you and monitor lizards can go out to meet and peacocks fly and snakes crawl out and mongooses frolic, in general, all the wild nature rampage. The restaurant has a classic breakfast, lunch and dinner are delicious, I took a ticket with breakfast, but I had lunch or dinner every day delicious, for about 1 thousand dollars without booze, or rather with beer.. they had delicious red rum, but we went to the bazaar to buy, we also took fruits at the bazaar.. thank God there was no animation, there were few children either, the beauty is simple, there is a good pool at the hotel. I liked the rooms. Spacious, the guys cleaned every day. Towels and sun loungers were also constantly monitored near the pool. I liked the rest here. It is suitable for those who do not need fuss, movement, complete relaxation.

An excellent hotel for the price and quality. It's a long way from Colombo Airport, but we slept on the way. The place is very quiet, there is a village in the area, if you want to take a break from people, then this is what you need. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to the nearest city by tuk tuk, where we stopped at the market, took fruit and exchanged money. In the hotel itself, you can exchange at the reception, but the course is so-so for them, of course. Ocean views from all rooms, on the left and on the right there are many different beaches: if you go to the left of the hotel, then through the mangrove groves you can get to the beach with breakwaters and there are no waves at all and you can swim safely, if to the right, then there are a bunch of beaches one after another, but you need to be careful and you can check with the staff where to go into the water, and where not (the staff brought you straight to the beach). The views are wonderful, it's a pleasure to meet sunrises and sunsets there. The staff is very polite, the service is excellent, especially in the restaurant and at the bar. They took only breakfast, they didn't want to have lunch in the heat at all, they only ate fruits from the market in the room and there was enough. We decided to take dinner a la carte every time, so it was easier for us, relative freedom in choice. They cook very well (which is Swedish, which is a la carte). I will be happy to come back here again

I really liked the place, we were in late January and early February. Quiet rest, very few people, good food, took breakfast and dinner, went to a Rock cafe for lunch. There are many animals - monkeys, peacocks, monitor lizards, chipmunks.
In general, it's a great opportunity to relax your mind and body. There are a lot of dogs on the street and along the beach, but they are not aggressive at all, we bought bread (a tuk-tuk with bread passes in the afternoon, it's a fascinating sight, a tuk-tuk goes and the dogs start whining) and fed the dogs on the beach.
One dog especially tied us to himself, the smallest and the sickest, they wanted to take us with them, but they didn't have time to arrange everything for export. We helped as much as we could, bought a pill from parasites in Tantalum at the veterinarian (it was all combed to peeling skin) and fed for two weeks.

I think this is one of the best places in Sri Lanka. Great location , first line , all rooms with ocean views, great cuisine , excellent service. This is a relatively new hotel, with huge, comfortable rooms (50sqm.m) with high ceilings , powerful air conditioning and ceiling fan . The linen is dry and snow-white, if you want, change it at least every day)) . The staff is polite, well-mannered and trained. There is a small beach to the right of the hotel. If you go 10 minutes to the left, there is a huge swimming area bounded from the ocean by a breakwater . I've visited many beaches and hotels along the southern coast, and I've never seen a better hotel. The specifics are a relaxing family vacation , away from the hustle and bustle .

The best option in terms of price and quality. I really liked the hotel. All the reviews about him on the web are fair: good staff, food, service. The only minus, it is also a plus, is the remoteness from the capital and the wilderness. It's a long way to go (although we were offered to pay $ 80 and drive an individual car, but my husband clamped down), but we slept on the way.
Sri Lankans from Colombo like to relax there. Not only Russians, but generally there are few white people (it's not the season yet, of course). So little that on working days we were fed ala-karts, both breakfast and dinner.
There is a place nearby for swimming in the ocean, protected from the waves. Very beautiful landscapes, sunrise, sunset (if the clouds are favorable), everything is green, untouched. A bunch of all kinds of animals right next to it (in plain sight and in the nearest thickets). We rode a tuk-tuk, we rode the local rusty bicycles around the village ourselves. We've seen enough peacocks and mawlins.
It is enough to take half board, lunch is not necessary. Although cafes and restaurants are mostly closed in the surrounding area during this period, you can still find something, and there is also a very caring, responsive staff working there. And in the hotel itself they will feed you for a little money, of course.
So this remoteness and a rather long road is compensated by a good price and all the other advantages and amenities.

The charms of the hotel: the opportunity to swim in the ocean, the sandy shore and an abundance of lagoons. There is a spa, helpful staff. Good kitchen and bar. Everything is OK with alcohol), you do not need to bring it with you. Not many, half of the hotel is occupied by locals on weekends, 10 rooms are occupied on weekdays - this is a plus. Nice pool. I took off the star for washing - they ruined a couple of things, not the most expensive, but unpleasant. All expenses for the whole! The laundry was removed from the bill as an apology for the incident)

A great hotel for a secluded holiday. There is no entertainment. A small lagoon for swimming. But the staff is very hospitable. There are a lot of wild animals: monkeys, monitor lizards, peacocks. Giant turtles arrive daily at 2 p.m.

Vacationed with my husband in mid-November. We read a lot about the thefts before leaving, it was a little uncomfortable. Nevertheless, during the entire rest period, no one attempted to break into our safe, even the cleaners came into our room only in our presence, they did not have keys. The hotel is located on the ocean, in the outback, far from all civilization. We thought we would be bored, but beautiful nature, gorgeous views, a sea of different animals did not let us get bored. Monkeys, monitor lizards, peacocks, porcupines were seen on the territory of the hotel, not to mention various birds and frames, which are interesting to watch. Turtles swim right in front of the hotel, we admired them every day. The hotel itself is nice, not old, the photos match. The room was on the ground floor with a sea view, spacious, comfortable. Cleaning was carried out every 2 days. We took breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The breakfasts are specific, adjusted for local cuisine, but we never stayed hungry. There have always been pancakes, porridge, kurd (like yogurt), eggs were cooked right in front of us to order, whatever you want. There have always been fruits: watermelon, papaya. Dinners are generally excellent with an assortment of meat, 2 times there were seafood, delicious desserts and ice cream always. The only downside is the constant interruptions with WiFi, but it didn't really bother. In general, we were satisfied with the rest. We liked everything, compared it with other hotels when we went on a tour, we had it better)). I advise lovers of a relaxing holiday.
