Spartak Stadium was opened in 1956, and in 1960 it became the home stadium of the Khimik team (the future Dnipro).
After the reconstruction, completed in 2009, a visor was installed over the western grandstand (torn down by a hurricane in July 2014). Later it was restored again.
In the winter season, when the weather permits, the stadium has an ice rink and skate rental.
The maximum capacity is 7,350 people.
