A very atmospheric place! We got on a tour, learned a lot of historical facts about Euphrosyne! My husband does not usually go , but here he wanted to and was also impressed! We will definitely come again!!!!
A sanctuary of spirituality, where you can, if you wish, hide from the hustle and bustle of this world, under the protection of Reverend Mother Ephrasinia.
A good place of peace. I often visit Polotsk and always try to look into the monastery. There is a Monastery tea room in front of the gate. There are delicious herbal teas and gingerbread. You can buy heather honey. The monastery itself is an important place for pilgrims. But atheists, too, I'm sure it will be interesting :) I also brought grape cuttings from this monastery to Kiev as a souvenir. Now it grows in my yard, it reminds me of this wonderful place.
People… Believe and you will be rewarded. There everyone sees what is meant for them. Someone is beauty, someone is just a building) And someone is GOD)
It's time for the guards to go to the bathhouse and add sensitivity. They got in and bullied the visiting brothers ..It's not good to put yourself like that. Horror
If you are passing through the city or on an excursion, be sure to visit this place!

A place of power for a believer, sometimes it's worth going to such a place. There is nothing supernova or unique. If you come on an excursion, then for a mandatory visit
The monastery, which was opened by the Most Reverend Euphrosyne. It was closed only by the Soviet government, of course, "at the request of the workers." The relics of St.After her death, Euphrosyne was kept in Jerusalem, at the risk of capture by the Turks, they were taken out by monks and transported to the Kiev Pechersk Lavra. In 1910, after repeated requests from the Belarusian clergy and the population, they were transported to St. Efrosinievsky Monastery, the birthplace of the saint, where they are currently kept. Under Soviet rule, they were repeatedly inspected and robbed, transported several times, including during the war. They remained incorruptible, are an object of veneration, and the monastery is a place of pilgrimage.
