I recently visited the bar and was absolutely delighted! The atmosphere here is simply amazing: the cozy interior, pleasant music and friendly audience create the perfect mood for relaxation.
I especially want to mention the service — the waitress Ksenia was excellent! She quickly took our order, offered us some interesting cocktails, and was always in touch to make sure everything was in order. Her smile and attention to detail made our evening even more enjoyable.

We were with a friend in Matches on Oktyabrskaya, we really liked it!

Overall, a pleasant range of price/quality. Pleasant tinctures and this creates its own style and its own space in the establishment.
If you try cocktails, you can find your own and understand what you like and what you don't like. I really love Daiquiris, but unfortunately the taste of Belarusian rum is completely different from other classics. But there are more decent cocktails based on alcohol from this country.
I want to mention one caveat!!! I will ask the management to focus on this - it can raise the level of the institution and the attitude towards it. Today I came across a situation where a guy showed attention to girls (it seems like this is a natural manifestation in a bar) and everything seemed to be fine, but the girls were clearly uncomfortable with this. Unfortunately, not everyone knows how to emphasize this. Please add some kind of outside help function for the girls in such situations, as I want everyone's evening to be warm and cozy)

Now, unfortunately, the level of employees is below average, the atmosphere is not the same at all, the quality of service has dropped significantly. I don't know who is recruiting and working with the staff, but this person has lost his grip. I don't know if we'll be going back to our early favorite place.

The Matches bar used to be one of my favorites in Minsk, the first time we were there 3 years ago on Nemiga, we really liked everything, the tinctures were great. Then a year ago, they noticed that they were diluted, and the taste changed, as if you were drinking sweet water. We stopped walking on Nemiga, then we went to Chelyuskintsev Park, which was also a disappointment. We were here a month ago, the taste was the same as before, we were not diluted. We decided to celebrate the New Year on December 27. And disappointment, the tinctures are diluted, they taste like sweet water. Complete disappointment. Now we don't plan to visit this bar anymore. And we don't recommend it to others.

Yes, delicious tinctures for cool promotions (on Sunday 5+ 5). The food is not so tasty anymore. And the whole institution as a whole is designed for students, with whom this bar was packed. I would like to tell you a story about visiting this institution and how they helped us achieve our goals. The purpose of the visit was the recommendation of my friend, who said that the tinctures here were extremely delicious. We tasted the entire range of tinctures presented and they turned out to be very tasty. Abruptly, my friend (let's call him Red-haired) accepted the option of getting drunk (let's not judge the person). We moved from the table to the bar, and there we met her, a bartender named Polina. She looks like a friendly and sweet girl, but we didn't know about her talents. After explaining the situation to her in a half-drunk language, she got down to business, saying that I was shocked was an understatement. Cocktails went into battle, I quickly returned to the tinctures, but the Redhead turned out to be a seasoned kid and didn't just leave. At the snap of his fingers, Red-Hair could barely speak and, as it turned out later, could barely walk.
After paying off, we went home, called a taxi and went home to the song Nancy Hotel. The taxi driver turned out to be an extremely unpleasant person, did not take us to our destination and dropped us off 400 meters from home, and of course we were not up to it (drunk). Ryzhevlaska and I walked merrily, until we decided to cross to the other side of the road, not through the underpass, but across the roadway, where we were trampled by traffic police officers. They kindly told us that this was not allowed and offered to blow into a tube. In this competition (blowing into the phone) The redhead beat me, and he was glad of that. When we were released half drunk, he explained to me that we were wrong.
The essence of this fable is this: if you want to sit well, this is a great place, if you want to get drunk, contact Polina the bartender, you can't cross the roadway in the wrong place, and even more so with a drunken Redhead.

The impression of this institution is ruined once and for all. My first trip to Spichki took place more than 3 years ago and it was a place on Nemiga, then this, and then on Chelyuskintsev. But over the past year, all three places have been on the stop list. At first, on nemiga, they clearly felt that the tinctures were diluted. You don't feel any alcohol at all. Then to Chelyuskintsev. We had 30 shots between us and left the bar as if we were sober. It feels like we were drinking water.
And a couple of days ago we went to these matches and here is the same situation. First we ordered a popcorn shot. He seemed normal to us, but everyone else is just a nightmare. Some are dairy, some are just fruit. After ordering the same popcorn again, we made sure that the taste was the same as the others.
"Matches" was the best bar to go to, but I can't say that anymore. Money was wasted, the mood was ruined. We won't go to these bars anymore.
