Popped into Spinneys at El Bada', Jumeirah, and let me tell you, it was like stepping into a grocery wonderland! This place is no ordinary supermarket—it’s a 4,000 sq ft palace of fresh produce, quirky finds, and pure shopping joy. From the moment I grabbed my cart, I felt like Indiana Jones on a quest for the Holy Grail of avocados, and boy, did Spinneys deliver! The fruits and veggies were so vibrant, I swear they were posing for Instagram.
The meat and fish counters? Fresher than a Dubai morning breeze. I snagged some salmon that looked like it swam straight from the ocean to my basket. And the non-halal section—hello, bacon lovers—was a glorious nod to expat cravings. I even spotted some fancy Ferron Italian risotto rice that made my inner chef do a happy dance. The aisles are a treasure trove of everything from organic goodies to pet food, and there’s even a bookshop and cosmetics counter for those “I came for milk but left with a novel and mascara” moments.
The staff? Absolute legends. They zoomed around like superheroes, restocking shelves and answering my “where’s the almond butter?” with smiles that could light up Sheikh Zayed Road. The store’s layout is so intuitive, I navigated it like a pro, no GPS needed. Plus, the checkout was smoother than a camel ride in the desert—no long queues, just pure efficiency.

Spinneys is incredible! I get all my weekly supplies from here; very tasteful selection, premium in terms of quality and their bakery is wonderful too. Never too crowded. Perfect in the Jumeirah neighborhood

Excellent supermarket with a diverse assortment. A huge selection of fruits and vegetables, including those already peeled and packaged. Ready-made takeaway food is available for sale.
A good selection of cold cuts and cheese.
Lovers of sweets and pastries will also be satisfied) A good selection of tea and coffee.
There is also an exchange and a pharmacy on the territory of the supermarket.
And if you go around the supermarket, then on the other hand, there is a good wine shop behind an inconspicuous door (you need a passport to buy alcohol).

A normal store like our Spar. There is a lot of ready-made food. There is no alcohol, beer and wine are all non-alcoholic. Everything is expensive, much more expensive than in Russia. Fruits are also very expensive. Well, actually, like everything in Dubai. It is 2-3 times more expensive on average. One of the useful ones is the exchanger in the store.

There is a great supermarket next to the hotel where we stayed, everything is there for every day. If you do not want to cook, or go to fast food, then you can take ready-made takeaway food, the choice is varied. Polite sellers, there are Russian-speaking consultants, which is also very pleasing. I recommend it, it's a great supermarket

Located near La Mer beach. A store with a fairly high price level, designed for residents and tourists. There are no guest workers from Southeast Asia in it. Tourists primarily buy a variety of salads and ready meals in the department immediately to the left of the entrance (price from 2 to 10 dirhams per 100 gr). All products are of high quality, especially liked a variety of fresh. The store also has a pharmacy, currency exchange, dry cleaning and a cafe. And in the parking lot near the store on your car will wash the windows and....tires.

Great supermarket ! Everything is there for the hungry tourist ! Ready-made food, sushi, meat, sausage, cheese cuts with the possibility of tasting, fruits, vegetables, everything is always fresh!
