The teachers are angry, offended for life, the desks at school are broken, very rude treatment to everyone from students to parents, the school is terrible, there is no hygiene, the worst place. If there was an opportunity, I would put 0 out of 5. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!
The review will be long. I hope it will help someone, because at one time, such a review would definitely not hurt me.
They chose the school because of its proximity to home, the first shift and 2 languages (the class is divided into 3 groups: Chinese, strong English and light English). Expectations in the language were not met: mediocre, there are no native speakers, phrases are outdated in English, and children will not speak Chinese, they do not understand speech by ear, but they teach hieroglyphs. And languages are our profession and here we give the school a minus. We have experience of studying at different schools due to long business trips. There is something to compare it with. I sincerely do not understand those who choose this school and go without registration. You can definitely find better options! We had a great team in our class among the guys themselves, but this is not in all classes - here we are lucky.
There were good teachers, especially the young ones, but ... the older generation broke them pretty quickly and they became like everyone else. There are only a few worthy people here. Unfortunately, there was no love for children, from the word at all. And, neither your presence at school, nor contributions, nor your participation, etc., will help the children. Of course, if you constantly help the school, it will be appreciated by the diploma, but it will not affect anything else.
Take, for example, the grading system at this school. The teacher decides here, not the ministry. For example: this verse is easy, you will get a maximum of 7 for it. For 40 formulas learned by heart, you will get a maximum of 6. These are real examples. Is it okay that we have a 10-point system?! And what is easy for one is difficult for the other and he would be happy to get 10 for an easy verse. And so on in many subjects. In general, this greatly discourages the motivation of the child. What's the point of trying? More than 7/6 will not work.
Tell me, why didn't you complain? They complained. They have prepared everything for the inspection. The lessons were conducted in an exemplary manner. The inspectors did not ask the children about anything, they only realized after that it was the verification that came, and not the school decided to improve.... Desks were replaced from neighboring classes :) Even the hot water from the taps went, which had not been there for 2 years. The check went away and ... everything returned to its circles :(
The final exams were held under a common comb. What grades I received before, they will put it. A maximum of 1 point was given to the units above. And they brought out the average for everyone so that no one would be offended. They did not underestimate those who are weaker. Of course, this pleased the weak children. Only the strong ones who wanted to improve their grades were very disappointed. Judge for yourself: not a single 10 in the class for the exam. A couple of 9s, a few 8s, and the rest are all lower. Only two people were helped in the exam. This is the main disadvantage. They choose a couple and the teachers have enough for good reports.
There is no motivation for teachers to improve something or strive for something.
Personally, as a parent, I really did not like the equalization of children: "I am a teacher, I see it that way" is the principle of the school. If the child decided not by the method that the teacher explained, then the assessment will be underestimated, not praise. The school does not produce geniuses.
They are trying to grow a gray mass out of children, the way teachers see it, and not the way it is necessary for their development and success in life.
In general, think about it, and success to you and the children!
