A beautiful temple. You feel peace inside. Father is a modern, deeply religious man who keeps up with the times.
The area around is cozy. There are benches, you can sit with the kids in the shade. Green decor.
St. Varvarinsky Cathedral is an Orthodox church in Pinsk, located on Sovetskaya Street 34. A monument of Baroque architecture. It was built in 1786. The oldest Orthodox church in Pinsk. It is dedicated to the patroness of the city - the Holy Great Martyr
Varvara. The church has a Sunday school, a library, and a youth center. Previously, the union had the only church in Pinsk where children were baptized.
The Orthodox Cathedral. For the first time, a Catholic church was built on this site in 1712 at the expense of Hetman Pavel Vishnevetsky. In the 19th century, the mayor of the Berestey voivodeship rebuilt the bell tower in stone and completed it. There was a monastery attached to the church. After the suppression of the uprising under the leadership of T. Kosciusko, the monastery was closed, the temple was transferred to the Orthodox diocese. An architectural monument, the painting of the 18th century has been preserved inside. It is protected by the state.
The temples are all good, but this Temple is special, such grace comes from the clergy, you don't want to go home, you feel at home. Thank God for everything!
The temple is a landmark for me, my husband and I were married there. Not big. I like it externally and internally. I like it when the doors are opened. The air fills the temple, the smell of flowers and incense.
