The unusual building was built in 2005-2006. It is located about 8 km from the center of Turku in a beautiful location on the shore of Pitkäsalmi Bay. There are 54 buses from the center of Turku. The Meri-Karina (Taidekappeli) bus stop and free parking are located next to the chapel.
