Worse than a hotel, I do not know Rooms without air conditioning. Stuffy, dirty. Musty smell. The breakfasts are like in a Soviet canteen with queues and ugly. The service is not intrusive. Where are the 4 stars from? 1 maximum
Let's start with the pros. The buffet breakfast is very good, delicious coffee, porridge, omelette, pastries, beautiful interior of the dining room with chandeliers. There are many antique items in the interior of the hotel - furniture, mirrors in carved frames, chandeliers. The room has a comfortable bed, blankets, bedside sockets, a mirror. A nice bathroom with a large shower stall, there is hand soap. Now to the cons. Despite the presence of a large battery in the room, the room is very, very cold, especially in winter frosts. According to my feelings, the temperature in the room was about 17-18 degrees, at such a temperature I had to sleep in the room without taking off my outerwear, in fact I took off only my street shoes and hat and lay down under two blankets in the clothes I came in from the street. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the walls are not sealed, because the windows were closed and the battery was working. The hotel is located in a medieval building, so there is zero noise insulation, that is, when someone walks along the corridor behind the wall, you can hear not only his steps, but also his breathing. In the evenings, wedding parties are held in the banquet hall with loud music that plays until 11 p.m., that is, I had to fall asleep in the infernal cold under the rumbling disco of the 90s. When the hair dryer broke down in one of our rooms, the receptionist said that he could not help in any way. He just turned around and left. That is, either you need to go to bed with a wet head in the cold, or walk with a dirty head. In general, this receptionist could not be found at the reception either day or night, even if you waited half an hour and rang the bell, the reception was almost always empty. Even at the check-out, we just put the room keys at the reception and went out.
It is impossible to give less. Think a few times before checking into this hotel on FRIDAY and for the weekend. There's a disco and a bar downstairs, drunken hysterics and their companions are having a showdown and you're listening to it all. The hotel staff does not react in any way, with a sweet smile they send you to solve the problem on your own. The room hadn't been changed and the girl was minding her own business. I had to leave at 3.30 for the airport, because I didn't have enough strength to listen to this mess anymore. Room 328 (windows facing the street) the refrigerator does not work, instead of a double bed there were two standing side by side, which moved apart at the slightest movement.Only the decorations in the hotel are antique, but it doesn't cost that much money. Well, the cherry on the cake: breakfast with you (they gave you 2 sandwiches, 2 slices of tomato, 2 slices of cucumber and a wooden pear) no water, no juice, no yogurt. The whole impression of the trip to Tallinn and the hotel was ruined.
The center of Old Tallinn. The rooms are nice, the rooms in the courtyard are the quietest, it is convenient to go out for a smoke. The breakfast is very good and plentiful. Very convenient geolocation. Russian-speaking staff
It's not much of a place.
One of the advantages.. only the location, but it is not very convenient to drive your own car, since there is no parking.
Of the cons.. The hotel has a maximum of 2 stars. Everything is very old, narrow corridors, creaking floors, old furniture everywhere that only collects dust, no ventilation (there is nothing to breathe), all this is only when searching for your room. The room is disgusting. Very small, uncomfortable beds, the smell of antiquity everywhere, in the bathroom. There is only a towel in the bundle . Soap and toothbrushes are missing. I asked the staff, they said, "we don't have it," although then I saw the set on sale). There is no bar in the room. There is very little space in the toilet. The cleaning is very bad.
We were lucky, we had a window, at least some air. The woman from the group did not have a window, she had to pay extra to be relocated)
Breakfast for 3 with a minus. Very little choice.
Very dirty appliances, old, creaky furniture, dust collector chandeliers.
queues for coffee and the search for a free place.
Are you going to say that I'm being picky? Sorry, a 4-star hotel in Europe, in my opinion, should be on a different level.
Very good! A quiet place in the old town. Five minutes walk from the train station. Five minutes to the central square (life hack - you can walk through the courtyards - generally a minute). Breakfast is served in a beautiful room. Porridge, cheese, butter, ham, salads, muesli, fruits, delicious jam, good coffee. The room has everything, a very comfortable bed, high ceilings. The beautiful interior of the hotel is an ancient castle with rest rooms on the floors. There are paintings in the corridors. The staff is very friendly, everyone speaks Russian. We liked everything very much, we will definitely come back!
A wonderful cozy hotel) I recommend it)
On the positive side: the location is central, quiet, small cozy rooms, a bed with a stunningly soft feather bed and high-quality snow-white linen)
Breakfast for 3+)
Of the cons: there is no parking (Shampoo and soap in the shower as in 2+ hotels(
Bottom line: if you are happy together, then feel free to stay at this hotel)))
Everything outside the room is perfect: stylish interior, delicious breakfast, adequate staff. The room is cramped and stuffy, the windows are wooden, and there is a breeze from them. There are only 2 bottles of water in the bar. There are no slippers, toothpaste and shower curtains. You need to turn on the heating yourself. However, it is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bed linen is of good quality. But the pillows are tiny and flat. In general, it is not clear why they have 4 stars.
We stayed at the hotel for 1 night.I liked everything!Polite staff, clean, beautiful interior.A good breakfast. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town.Very convenient! We recommend it to everyone!

I was in December 2018, I am writing for a report, for myself, and for everyone who is interested.
A very good hotel, very well located, when leaving it, you have to walk along a small street and get right to the town hall and the square.
The only thing is that there is nothing in the hotel except towels and a wine opener. Shampoo and soap in one person. But for a 3-star hotel, this is probably how it should be. Therefore, everything is good, not expensive and in the center
Impressions from the interiors of the hotel will be remembered for a long time. Excellent location. Responsive staff. Special thanks to Roman - he suggested where to dump the car, where to go in the city. The breakfast is ordinary, but everything is delicious. The room is clean. We will definitely come back here again.
I really liked the hotel, the atmosphere, the feeling that you live in a castle) hearty, delicious breakfasts, pleasant staff, and most importantly its location!
The rooms are simply amazing. It's like going back many centuries in comfort) The room is warm, the batteries are adjustable. There are a lot of rare furniture and things. There is a buffet breakfast, you can not take it with you, this is a minus.
The room is stuffy and there is no air conditioning, although it is possible that they are forbidden to put them in stone houses of medieval construction. But there is a shower and underfloor heating. The room is small, a 2-bedroom bed occupies almost the entire room. The Windows overlook the courtyard, where the terrace is located and relax (other hotel guests are talking loudly and smoking). Compared to other Russian and foreign hotels, it is a solid 3 stars, not 4 stars. There are no complaints about the service.
The breakfast is very questionable, the fruits are frankly spoiled / fermented. Russian Russian restaurant workers discuss visitors in a voice, thinking that no one understands them, although half of the tourists are Russian.
Convenient location , a couple of minutes from the Town Hall Square, very tasty breakfasts, courteous staff 👌
The only thing is that the rooms are small, we need a layout so as not to touch the corners, but this did not bother us)
It's a great hotel, I've stayed in it for the fourth time. The service is excellent, the breakfasts are excellent, located in the center of the old town.I recommend.
The hotel is very old. Worn interiors, creaky floors, very thin walls, uncomfortable beds and lack of service. It was not even possible to rest and sleep! The neighbors in the next room were talking, but it seemed that they were talking in our room.
We really liked it.
It makes sense to go to Tallinn, IMHO, for the aesthetics of the XV-XVI centuries, and there is "this"!
Breakfast is also fine, although it's not worth being late: they eat it quickly.
The hotel was built in the XV century. It's a very atmospheric place. Friendly staff. Extremely steep stairs. Those who do not have problems with their knees are normal.
