For the first time in a German theater and immediately the Nuremberg Opera House. We listened to Haydn's surprise symphony. The theater is beautiful: an ancient, majestic building, everything is convenient and practical (in German). For example, small wardrobes are located at each tier, boxes, etc. There are no crowds that from all over the theater (orchestra seats, amphitheater, balcony) would run down to the cloakroom, creating half-hour traffic jams. Spacious foyer and buffet. All the audience (99%) were dressed appropriately in suits and dresses. None of the sneakers, hoodies, etc. that we regularly see in Moscow and St. Petersburg theaters (unfortunately). There is nothing expensive or flashy, but everything is neat and in accordance with the event (a concert of symphonic music at the opera house). But what struck me most was the German pedantry with regard to time. The concert started at 20:00. At exactly 19:57, all the doors in the hall were closed (!) (those who did not have time were late, but there were no such people!!). At 19:59, the orchestra came on stage and began to take seats. At 20:00, the music started playing exactly. Delight!!! I wish we could adopt this quality: respect for the audience from theaters, actors and directors (10 and even 15 minutes late, unfortunately, no one is surprised or infuriated anymore), as well as self-respect (why can't we be more disciplined and arrive on time, and also why do we tolerate this to what is your attitude?).
