The rooms are spacious, everything is working properly, the pool is clean, only omelets and toast for breakfast, the rest is for an additional fee, the staff does not speak Russian and does not clean, Wi-Fi at the reception is fast. Star of the Sea is an old name. Now it's called Grand Royale Palms. In general, I recommend it.

It used to be fine, then the owner changed, there were a lot of Indians settling in and it's a nightmare they scream half the night in the morning you go out, and there are dirty plates near their rooms.

An old, small, cute little hotel with an excellent restaurant, one of the best in this town. Convenient location, close to 2 supermarkets. There is no cleaning, towels and linen are far from ideal, there are cockroaches of impressive size, a lizard can run into guests on the ground floor. The sea is 1 km away.

We visited this hotel in April-May 2019. Well, the hotel is so-so, of course, but as I understand it, like most in Goa, if you're lucky, you'll get a room where everything will work (air conditioning, refrigerator, etc.) it's better to ask for a room on the 3rd floor where they are more decent. To the sea, at least 10 minutes on foot along the roadway without a pedestrian sidewalk is a dubious pleasure...but there are grocery stores, cafes and fruit stalls nearby.
