First, about the good things:
1. The concert venue is located in the city center, you can walk from two metro stations.
2. From a beautiful panel with all the famous architectural sights of Uzbekistan to the entire hall and beautiful dandelion chandeliers.
3. A very beautiful ceiling in the auditorium itself, made with reference to national traditions and interestingly inscribed with an oval, so that the balcony does not interfere with contemplation.
Now about the cons:
1. The building looks dull and old, although it is a little over 30 years old. If the dressing rooms are like that, it's a shame that the artists who come to perform see our country so untidy. There is neglect, repairs have not been done for a long time, smudges, old upholstery of chairs, part of the panels on the walls is covered with some temporary props.
2. We were at the end of October at the performance "The Master and Margarita" - it was terribly cold in the hall! In general, the heating season has not started all over the republic, but it was very cold there, even in a coat.
3. Very old and poorly maintained toilets: no latches, worn plumbing, no dryers, no napkins.
4. The entrance to the palace is not through the main entrances of the hall by a huge staircase, but through the basement and one door. There is pandemonium at the exit, plus you have to walk through semi-dark corridors.
5. Lighting is problematic both in the surrounding area of the palace, and inside in the basement foyer and when climbing into the hall.
With such disadvantages, the feeling of any performance, concert or event is muted.
I attended a wonderful performance of the orchestra on 09/13/2024, the artists are wonderful, everything is wonderful.
But there are questions for the organizers:
1. A delay of 20 minutes, no sound signals are given about the beginning of the performance, chaotic gathering of the audience in the hall.
2. After an hour of the concert, the latecomers are launched, with a straight face they say that they can't do anything, because people have tickets. You are a cultural center, couldn't you have prescribed the rules for attending a concert? They had a ticket, and the rest bought tickets to view the backs of their heads and places less pleasant.
3. At the end of the concert, the whole crowd rushed out of the building, and one of the 4 doors was open. There was a stampede, everyone wanted to get out. But in the event of a fire, what happens to this crowd, the employees answered this question that they did not have keys.
I wish the Turkiston team strives for the professionalism of the artists who work on your site.
We recently attended a performance with my son, a show of monkeys and dinosaurs. We really liked it! But here the review is not about the show, but about the Palace of Arts itself. The place is very beautiful, I liked the interior and the hall, everything is very well thought out in places, that even from the far rows everything is perfectly visible and audible, it was very cozy! I keep an eye on the poster to come there again, for other performances)
So far, one of the worst venues for concerts and performances in Tashkent among those we have been to.
1. The entrance is through the basements, not through the central one. As usual, the entrances and exits are through one door, which is why there is a crush, a crush and queues.
2. The lighting on the main stairs is very
dim, about half of the lighting fixtures are working, no more.
Z. Ceilings on the stairs are leaking, terrible yellow streaks.
4. The toilets are terrible. Far from the hall and
clearly striving for the past (USSR).
5. The location of the seats in the hall is also terrible.
We took seats in the amphitheater three times at different ends (left, right and center). The view from the right and left is disgusting, 30% of the scene, if not more, is blocked by a fence. Lighting fixtures are blocked in the center. There was a scandal with us because of this - a married couple refused to sit in such places and, coming into
conflict with employees, sat on the floor right on the aisle at the fence. And I understand them perfectly! The distance between the rows is very small, legs are cramped, tall people are very uncomfortable! An acquaintance was sitting in the stalls,
and the visibility from there was also disgusting. I'm attaching a photo. In 3 photos, you can see how
the lighting devices block the stage (this is the 2nd row and I also raised the camera above eye level), in 4 photos there is an overview on the right on the 1st row of the amphitheater).
6. The decorations were lying right on the floor on
the stairs. They were there three times during the month, and they were lying there.
There are almost no lights around the building. It is dark, uncomfortable, ugly, untimely, unattractive.
I'm not even saying anything about the delay in the start of performances and concerts by 15-20 minutes, about those who are half an hour late, who are being launched. This is a normal practice in Tashkent.
It's a shame to call this a palace of arts!
Updated on 29.10 after "The Master and Margarita" with Loginov:
The guards / guards are very loud, the whole hall can hear the walkie-talkie. It's not the first event I've noticed.
It was VERY COLD in the hall! It was probably 15 degrees. Everyone was sitting in jackets and coats and it was still incredibly cold. Mockery of both the audience and the speakers!
A small cozy room, there was a Tynda music concert, the acoustics were great, the room itself had a comfortable temperature. There are places nearby where you can take a walk after the performance
I am very disappointed with the state of attitude towards culture, in this case, classical music. On November 11, there was a wonderful program: a performance by the national orchestra of Uzbekistan and a performance by one of the best violinists of the world level. However, the whole building, including the hall itself, was infernally cold. The audience was sitting in outerwear, but the musicians were forced to work in such unbearable conditions..
They did a wonderful job, thank God! But the organizers and the administration of this institution are ashamed and ashamed.. I have never seen such a thing anywhere in the world..
I really like the hall, excellent acoustics, parking is not designed for a large number of cars, we have to squeeze in, the staff is excellent, the concerts are interesting!💥💥
The Soviet-built palace. Outwardly gray. It is located in the center. There is also a lot of gray inside. But there are interior highlights.
There is not enough local repair.
The hall is large. In general, you can see and hear everywhere.
Toilets need to be upgraded. There is no soap or hand dry.
There is only one cash register. The smell of the USSR.
There are periodic performances by foreign artists or medium-sized groups, as well as festivals or music concerts.
It's a very cool theater. Cool performances, I really like this place, because this place is not like the others. I recommend spending time here with family or friends
We attended the performance of the chamber orchestra of the troupe from Kazakhstan, the sensations are wonderful, the repertoire, the performance is great. We had a lot of fun and Relaxation. I decided for myself that I need to pamper myself with cultural events more often.
The place is wonderful. I was at the World of Hollywood orchestra, the impressions are unforgettable. These live sounds, the orchestra itself and the musicians were just wow. The soloists' voices were magical. Everything was at the highest level, I strongly advise you to visit.
The Master and Margarita were recently at the play. I had to leave during the intermission, unfortunately, because it was unbearably cold. Special pain for the artists who ran around the stage in T-shirts, with bare feet. Ventilation was turned on, which of course is necessary, but cool air was blowing out of it, thereby worsening the situation of the audience and artists.
We went to the show once and really liked it. However, if you go in winter, then dress warmly. There is a parking lot on the side of the palace. The entrance is from the fountain side.
The ticket office is closed, there are no tickets. By phone, the cashier sends for tickets to street dealers. The administrator offers to take you to the hall for money after the start of the concert, to sit on stools. Medieval savagery. People of art form the wrong impression of guests about Uzbekistan.
On the weekend we were lucky enough to visit the Palace of Arts of Turkistan with our family. It's been a while since I've been here. The hall is small, but the seats were comfortable and soft. Everything is clean and tidy around. I really liked the performance. The actors are well done!
And the palace itself is not bad, but I like the park around it more. Shady cool alleys, silence, tranquility. You can take a walk with your pets, again.
Toilets are a nightmare. It's dirty. There is no paper and no hand gels
The seats are not comfortable.
The hall itself is comfortable, although it was cold when we were there
The staff is friendly
I liked it! The sound is wonderful. Cleanliness is all around and everywhere. Especially the buffet there is delicious catfish. The wardrobe is, of course, as everywhere else, long, but because of the cold they left the jackets with them. Parking is available. The toilets are clean. The employees are friendly.
This is the third time I have attended concerts in this hall. Twice in the hall itself and once on its summer playground. Everything is neat and clean. I don't know how anyone likes it, but I like the Soviet atmosphere, this is just such a place. Beautiful walls, ornaments, even the smell is so pleasant, as if from the past.
I hope it will not be touched and "restored". He's good just the way he is.
The building is surrounded by complete darkness. Neither the lanterns on the walls are lit, nor any other type of lighting. You have to go down the stairs with phone flashes.
The chairs are uncomfortable. The acoustics and speaker power are unsatisfactory. The concert hall requires major renovation.
The palace is beautiful. I was at the reporting concert of the R. Glier Russian Academy of Music. The guys, together with the teachers, have prepared a wonderful program.
Great gym! Great seats, good ventilation, high-quality sound! You need to invite more different artists of different genres! Definitely better than Friendship of peoples!
The chairs are old, the exit is one gate (the floor of the door) for the entire stream
The level of service organization is the Soviet Union at its worst
I was only on the summer playground, there are pros and cons, while the sun is not quite very hot, it's good in the evening. There is Parking, toilets outside the territory, plastic bio. It's normal for a couple of hours for a concert, for half a day for a festival it's a little stressful.
It's time to make repairs. In general, I am glad that the style has remained the way it was intended, but it is clear that a lot of things are slowly falling apart.
Starting from the stairs at the entrance and the toilets, ending with the hall itself directly.
A nice, cozy small room. The chairs are comfortable, updated, it's not stuffy inside, the halls are also pleasant, the toilets are clean, although not new. Overall, the impression of the palace is positive
I was at the Jazz Triumph concert. The palace itself was last restored under Lenin. Everything is so strange and so "scoop". Starting from the chairs and ending with the curtain on the stage. The backlight has also seen its best years... However, so is the concert itself. It seems that he disappeared for the performance of the bunny boys, even though everyone has been for many years, but the concert turned out to be very boring. No improvisation, the sound is terrible and absolutely without a soul. You need to go to a real jazz concert at least once, where the musicians understand at a glance what and how they will continue to play and they do not have the same concerts
The palace is very cozy.
The chairs are comfortable. There is a great view of the stage from any place. The staff is polite.
but!! The parking lot is too small for so many guests.
The acoustics are very good, although the seats are old and in need of repair. Overall, it is a good place for organized events and concerts. I've been here for many concerts and stand-up shows. I recommend that you sit closer to the stage
It's not a bad concert hall. Ambiguous feelings. The outside is beautiful, the hall itself with seats is also good, ethnically decorated, richly. But the lobby, the entrance area is not very good, I would like to improve the quality of decoration and lighting. In general, we were satisfied.
A great place for concerts. I was at the Noize MC concert. The rows and seats are mixed up and no one is really watching this, so it's not critical. Good responsive iquette staff. Delicious drinks. The toilet is only in the next establishment - in the restaurant.
A very beautiful hall, representative of the era of Soviet modernism. It is a pity that the main entrance to the building is not opened and the audience has to pass through the side additional entrances without feeling the beauty and scope of the structure.
I really liked it! I was at a concert of the orchestra that performed Frank Sinatra songs. It is a very beautiful hall with a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely come back here.
