An interesting place. Admission is expensive (in September 49 GEL). A stunning waterfall. It's a pity, after the landslides, they did not spend the effort to put the road down in order, the effect of the walk would have been steeper.
I will not attach a photo of the waterfall itself, it will not convey the impression. It is advisable to be at least a little prepared or just calculate your strength when going down. A lot of stairs and then the road down to the waterfall is great for a walk.
IT's NOT WORTH the time and money spent. Very expensive
We went from Tbilisi in November. The price was indicated on the website at 49 GEL, upon arrival we were informed that the price had recently risen to 79😳
As a result, for a family of 5 people - 395 lari.
By the way, parking costs GEL 5 (it's not a pity, but at such prices the bridge could be provided free of charge)
The glass is all scratched, there is nothing in the cafe in the middle of the bridge except espresso and Americano.
The canyon is certainly beautiful, but not so much. There are many more beautiful views on the way from Tbilisi. Because of the wind, the extreme rides did not work, but even with them there is absolutely nothing to do on this bridge. The restaurant is expensive (possibly delicious), so we decided to have lunch 6 minutes away in the village. According to reviews, Pompei was chosen from three establishments. It is called a restaurant, although it is closer to the canteen in terms of assortment, quality and price. The food is generally passable. But they have a signature khachapuri made of puff pastry. I recommend it- it's delicious! In terms of price /quality /infrastructure, the suspension bridge in Sochi is many times better!
A very cool and beautiful place! Of course, the bridge is not entirely glass, but with small glass inserts) but it's cute. It is very worthwhile to go into the diamond itself and go down. And go on a swing. There is also a very cool restaurant on site - everything is insanely delicious and the chef came out to meet! I really liked the place!) beautiful, cute, large-scale. It's definitely worth a visit!)
A place of power and beauty of nature, silence and contemplation of it, everything is very beautiful and convenient, everyone can walk and admire such beauty
A good idea for a bridge in the center with a diamond-shaped restaurant above the gorge! It is also nice to walk along the bridge itself, in places the floor is lined with glass and you can see the entire depth of the gorge.
An amazing place! Thanks to our guide in Georgia Rudy, who brought us there! First we went down to the waterfall - we warn you right away - it's not even a simple descent ... you go "on your calves", at the bottom there is a waterfall that flows straight out of the rock, climbing ... well, you understand yourself))) in total, about 1200 meters, as we were told, but when you return to the top and realize that you have mastered it)))) Well, a good walk to bring down the calories of fine Georgian cuisine) The bridge itself is also very impressive, but who shaves heights - it's better not to look down) But the building is new - security is on the level! We recommend it
If we talk about the bridge itself, then it is very conditionally glass. In fact, the bridge is metal with several glass inserts. We were lucky and we were on a day when there were few people, but even this did not save the overall impression of the bridge. For sure, the bridge is not worth the 50 GEL that is being asked for it. There are also waterfalls on the territory, I can't say anything useful about them, since we were told that they were not allowed there, allegedly because of wet paths. But from above it was clear that all the paths were dry. So you just have to take into account that you may not be allowed to go to the waterfalls for no reason. The bridge is not worth traveling from afar for it, for example from Tbilisi, the maximum you can drop by if you pass by.
It is very expensive, the entrance is 79lari, the descent is 12 more, the bike is 120 lari, the swing is 50 and this is for one!!! The family will get 40 rubles. For an hour of entertainment. Imho unjustified!!!
The glass bridge over the Dashbashi Canyon near the town of Tsalka was built at an altitude of 200 meters from the ground, and indeed part of its floors are made of glass. Admission costs 49 GEL for foreigners. Going back and forth is a great workout against the fear of heights! At first it was a little unpleasant, but then you get used to it and calmly take off gorgeous views.
There is a glass sphere with a cafe in the center of the bridge. Unfortunately, she did not work during our visit.
The journey to Tsalka from Tbilisi took about 2 hours one way. There are also guest houses and cafes near the bridge. There are other attractions and entertainment — for example, you can cross the canyon on a bicycle strapped to a rope with carabiners. Unfortunately, all this is not available in January — you will have to return!
It is a very picturesque place. The bridge over the Dashbashi Canyon, opened in 2022. The length of the bridge is 240m. The height of the canyon is 300m. The descent into the canyon itself is 2.5 km. There is a view of the waterfalls below. A fascinating landscape, both from the bridge and in the canyon. Not real beauty. Entrance is paid. For foreigners 49 lari, for children 32 lari. It's cheaper for locals. I do not recommend going down in the shales. Very steep descent and ascent.
It's an interesting place, but it's not worth paying 49 GEL, you can look from the side or sit in a restaurant next to the entrance to the bridge, but if you really want to get adrenaline, then go to the cashier and onto the bridge.
Very beautiful! To go down - to plunge into the river, a beautiful small waterfall, drink water, take pictures of the beauty - an hour and a half. Take a walk on the bridge, go to the almaz, ride a bike over the abyss.
I didn't like the swing - only one roll of -2 seconds is interesting, it's definitely not worth your money.
the opportunity to walk over the canyon on a glass bridge. The canyon is undoubtedly beautiful. Of course, I expected more. The Georgian reality is frustrating: the bigger the hole, the higher the prices. a room for the night is 250 lari (this is for the middle of August 2023 - 9.5 t.r.). access to the bridge for two is 98 lari (3.7 t.r.) It starts working at 10.00 (almost noon). WOW, there is no effect, it does not even bounce, the glass on the bridge is not solid, but occasionally scratched with bumps. for extreme athletes, there is a bicycle on a rope (a kind of bungee), and a swing on the edge of the canyon. at 80 GEL per person (3 tr.). you can go down to the water, but they won't let you touch it, they supposedly take care of the ecology of the place. tires and plastic are visible in the water at the bottom. going back up after the descent is much more difficult.
Mountains, air, delicious food on the banks of a stormy river of indescribable sea color with glass bridges
I saw it once and fell in love for the rest of my life
The price is 49 GEL per person, if not local. There is nothing to see except the canyon, the bridge and the waterfall. If it rains/passed/passed 2 days ago/fog/snow and so on - everything will be closed. There is an expensive restaurant nearby. Due to the inadequate price and the considerable chances to spend a lot of time on the road and find out that everything is closed, I do not recommend visiting, it is not worth either time or money
