A very good museum, but the most powerful impression, in my opinion, is the flag above this museum! As a reminder to everyone who did not know, forgot or is trying to forget which country won this terrible war! When they did not think about nationality, place of birth, but were together, at the same time, and fought with a common disaster for the freedom of one country, and liberated the whole world!
One of the most important places in the city, one of the buildings dedicated to the Second World War, is also nearby the Museum of the Second World War, where you can have a good time and learn a lot about those times and the exploits of the people.
Beautiful Stella, everything is very solemn and neat.

You can feel the greatness of the Belarusian people, who suffered terrible hardships and troubles during the war, who lost more than 2.5 million people, every fourth inhabitant. It's scary to imagine that on the 7th day the entire German armada stormed into Minsk, sweeping away everything in its path. During the war years, 187 villages were wiped off the face of the earth on the territory of Belarus, which have not been revived.
During our visit, the monument was under restoration, without scaffolding, a very beautiful monument.

To the hero city of Minsk!!! Both the stele and the park next to the WWII Museum remind the passer-by that the city remembers, the people remember and will not forget. Our brothers, we will never betray you and will not forget the common feat.
The only place where the red flag of victory is raised!!! There is no such thing anywhere in the Union republics. We are proud of our ancestors who stood up in that meat grinder!!! And shame for what is happening today.
It's a beautiful place. I have been living next to Stela since childhood. I love everything here. Before, before there was a museum, we used to take sleds and ride down the hill when we were very young. The entire district gathered on the Stele. It was really cool!
How long have I been living....I remember this Stella so much.... Many young couples visit this monument on the day of registration....Not so long ago, a new WWII museum was built behind it....
A good monument, beautiful. It evokes respect and immediately recalls the fallen heroes of the Second World War. Unfortunately, it was not possible to get into the museum, it was Monday.
