By the will of fate, I am a car owner, and over time I have to delve into the technical aspects and features of the car, but not to the same extent to communicate with car mechanics on an equal basis. As a girl who politely, I emphasize, turned to a service employee with a request to help, I wanted to get at least understanding and a little bit of care in response. You could explain to me what the diagnostic process is, that it takes so much time, and advise me what measures can be taken before the visit, and anything to make me feel like a welcome customer, and not just a bundle of money.
He didn't even recognize my name, said, "I have enough information to record," and disconnected without saying goodbye.
