I would like to express my special gratitude to the master for his professionalism and honesty. At another service station, they would have already replaced serviceable parts with new ones and would have been divorced for money. Recommend. Nowadays, such masters are rare.
It so happened that while in Grodno for the May holidays in 2022, my mother's front spring burst on the car. Not all HUNDRED people work on weekends, so there was not much choice. The guys agreed to take the car for repair. On the same day, we received a call and were told that we needed to change 2 front springs and support bearings, which I completely agreed with. In the Southern market, a service station employee found and bought Klaxon springs and INA bearings (according to the employee), there were allegedly no better springs anywhere on the market (which I doubt, to be honest). But, since I was in Minsk at that moment, there was not much choice.
We did everything quickly enough, and the car was ready by the evening. Naturally, they did not give ANY PAPERS or CHECKS. Old spare parts, as well as packages from new ones, were not given out either - everything is on my word of honor. Moreover, when asked to issue at least some papers, they referred to the fact that there was no director on the weekend, there was no one to sign...(a clean divorce), and spare parts were bought on the market, they only said the number of the pavilion. While still at the service station, my mother noticed that the car in front had become "higher", to which the "master" replied that the rear springs had simply sagged too and they needed to be changed... There was nothing to do, we paid 180 rubles for spare parts and 100 rubles for work and went.
The car, thank God, got to Minsk normally, but my mother immediately complained that it was somehow strangely controlled and began to make incomprehensible sounds. I brought the car to the service station, where I am always serviced, and a creak was heard on the lift when the right wheel was turned. The guys said that most likely the problem is in the support bearing. They said about the height of the springs that it was just an increased diameter, that is, the springs were supposedly reinforced... It was decided to buy once again new normal Lesjofors springs and new SNR bearings. After they were replaced, lo and behold, the car "leveled out" in height again, i.e. it was not at all about the rear springs! Well, yes - one of the support bearings was defective. That is, it was either broken during installation, or it was sold to us defective. Another 300 rubles were spent, but now everything has been done well.
As a result, we wasted almost 300 rubles to drive 400 km.
Honestly, I did not call and prove something, because I would not have gone to Grodno for this anyway, well, the lack of any documents clearly did not play in my favor in the legal field ...
I strongly advise you not to contact this service station, the principles of work at the level of the early 2000s - no documents, the quality of the work "just to do", for comments - tips to change something else. I am sure that this is not an isolated case.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of such stations and no one is insured.
