The price tag is average. A small room with air conditioning, a TV with music. But the kitchen leaves much to be desired. The boat is not baked (it was the same last year). The kebab feels like it's warmed up - very dry. Meat in Abkhazian: baked vegetables in which separately cooked pork was cooked. This year, the dry homemade wine is of very good quality for local wines. In general, you can find tastier places by walking a little towards the center!

It's not the first day we rest in Abkhazia and try a lot of things!!!
But here I'll take care of my compatriots: don't take caesar with chicken, just so as not to spoil the mood, I didn't throw it in their face: boiled frozen chicken, bitter overgrown lettuce, half a tomato, dried loaf and diluted mayonnaise.
The meat is tough in the hot, the wine is diluted, the chacha is tough...although my husband understands this 🥃
In general, the money was thrown away🌬️
At lunch we were at another cafe right there in Gadout, it was very tasty 😋
Now I understand how people are poisoned in Abkhazia.

The first impression is very good, a simple cozy cafe with an acceptable price tag. I ordered takeaway food, and the absence of some dishes did not bother me. The next day I ate directly in the cafe itself. But. 1. The dishes smelled like a stale wet rag. 2. It was obvious that it was cooked in a hurry, but the taste and quality of the food were acceptable. 3. I ordered hashlama, but again it, as well as several other dishes, was not available, but a little later after my order a company of several men came, and lo and behold, the soup appeared. A wonderful and sincere place) everyone is polite, smiling, all dishes are fresh and cooked to order. After a couple of visits, you are already greeted as a native))) we were in other establishments, but we decided for ourselves that we would mainly eat here) we took different dishes, we liked everything very much, I still attach photos on the sly) tangerine juice, cheese soup and pasta are just a top in general, unfortunately, payment is only in cash. Which is very nice, one of the few places where 10% of the service is not silently included in the bill, but we ourselves do not mind giving it, maybe even more when the service is worth it 🥰🥰🥰

We went to Gudauta in July
. We went to eat at the Sukhum cafe. We were absolutely delighted with the kitchen and the staff. The staff received us friendly, and later, we became like family. We thank the staff of this cafe: Arda, Stella, Donna. They are such friendly people, we have never seen such friendliness anywhere. They cook very tasty, shish kebab, just fire, khachapuri, khinkali, pasta with chicken and seafood, but you can't list everything. We were overeating. We will remember these people for a long time. May God grant them health , longevity and prosperity . They are spinning like bees, a lot of people go to them. We were in several cafes, it's just terrible how they cook and you had to pay a lot of money for it. If it hadn't been for the Sukhum cafe, we would probably have lain with sick stomachs all the rest. Thank you very much for your hard work and attitude towards visitors. If we ever come to Gudauta for a vacation, we will definitely eat only at the Sukhum cafe

We were in Gudauta for three days. We stayed nearby in a hotel.
We haven't been to the cafe itself, but the cafe has its own khachapurnaya, with a window on the street. You can come up and order khachapuri in Abkhaz, with cheese and herbs. They cook with you. Waiting 10 minutes . And a large khachapuri, with fervor and heat, is put in a cardboard box, like a pizza. There are different versions of khachapuri.
It was very tasty and satisfying. We bought red wine "Apsny" and khachapuri. On the balcony of the hotel, with a panorama of the moonlight path in the sea, we ate khachapuri and drank wine.
The staff is friendly and welcoming.

We came here after reading the reviews. Either people are blind, or I don't understand something in life.
Conditionally clean and tidy, but how to look at it.
The service is fast, the staff seems friendly. It gets worse.
Food, if you can call it that:
Pork neck chops are a piece of rubber and even with fat, it is not cut with a knife, it is impossible to eat,
Fried potatoes - in general, you can eat, but there should not be so much oil in it, and sliced do not understand how, Caesar salad - half a ton of mayonnaise, tea is normal, but mugs should be washed before serving. From decent - fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, there are no complaints about them.
Serving cutlery - in hand (no napkins, no plates)
Of all the nearby cafes, this is just a horror.
3 points just for what they are, although it doesn't deserve it either

We went to Abkhazia on vacation , to Gudauta . We lived not far from the Sukhum cafe. We went there to eat every day. They cook very tasty, the assortment is good, you can find a dish to suit anyone's taste. Everything is fresh. The workers there are very friendly, friendly, they treated us to feihua from compote, which by the way is very tasty too.
In general, I recommend the cafe, if we will be there again sometime, then we will definitely eat at their place.
The only thing is, you can't pay by card or transfer there. But this is a small thing compared to all the other advantages. If it were possible to put more stars, I would.

The traditional food for most of Russia was pretty tired at home, so when they came on vacation, they were looking for national cuisine in the cafe. And they ordered mainly dishes of national cuisine (with the exception of rice, cutlets, dumplings, borscht. All this was eaten by a child, because of his age he cannot appreciate the spicy Caucasian cuisine with a lot of greens). We only went for lunch. Cash only. The air conditioner is working. Music - TV, Bridge music channel.
They meet us calmly, without the cloying "whatever you want", but we did not notice any unfriendliness. After a couple of days, it's already more friendly, as regular guests. It is quite possible to understand this attitude, the cafe is located on the road from the beach, different people drop in. Decent families also come in, but once I met a loud Taghiiil drunk by two o'clock in the afternoon (no offense to the city), pretentious chickens with their children and other unpleasant people. Therefore, some wariness towards new guests is understandable - figs knows what to expect from us)))
For food. The menu is small, but if you arrive for 7-10 days, you will not get bored. You can alternate dishes. Everything is delicious - rich hashlama, juicy khinkali, spicy Abkhazian hodgepodge, wonderful fried trout, ajapsandal is cooked a little unusual, vegetables are chopped coarsely, but it is also delicious. We didn't finish the cheese boat, we took half of it for dinner, it was very tasty. Okroshka is interesting, it seems on ayran or tanya.
Traditional dishes without complaints - borscht, rice, cutlets, dumplings. Borscht seemed a little overcooked, but firstly it is not a traditional dish for the Caucasus, and secondly, it is different for each hostess here)
There are no complaints about the products, everything is fresh, greens, onions for decoration are fresh. The hall and tables are quite clean, considering the dining flow of guests. There is a bamboo cafe opposite, you look at it, and you understand - this is where I will definitely get hurt. There is definitely no such feeling in the Sukhum cafe. The dishes and appliances are clean, the food is fresh, the waitress is neat, a very pleasant woman.
There is an excellent Sukhumi beer, served in a cold mug, tangerine juice is beyond praise. Also chilled.
One minus was noticed - the kebab here is not real))) here it is a deep-fried breaded patty) but the ill-fated kebab did not spoil the overall impression)
Once, on the fifth day of my vacation, we decided to diversify our diet (Looking ahead -
damn the day when I got behind the wheel of this vacuum cleaner!))) and we went the other way to the Date cafe (I think that's what it's called). It's beautiful, maybe even delicious, but the cafe is open, and having dinner in the heat, even on the seashore, is so-so... We turned around, on the way back we went to an institution with the pretentious name "Golden Lion". In short, do you remember Soviet pubs? The golden lion, if I may say so, is a pub, only even worse. It seems that cockroaches bring the bill there. The ones that are not cooked in the soup. That's exactly the feeling - "This is where I'm going to get poisoned."
In general, we returned to our beloved Sukhum, took okroshka, khinkali, and realized that the best is always the enemy of the good)))
In general, if you are going to relax nearby, take a look at the light.
Yes, at prices! This is NOT a budget dining room or an obscenely expensive restaurant. Lunch for three at the level of "we are not posh, but we are not going to save as undermined either" - about 1500-2000 rubles without alcohol.

Smoked trout - 200 rubles. A gorgeous hodgepodge. They work from 9 a.m. exactly, you can come to breakfast. Delicious chebureks. Wine... I won't recommend it, but the chacha is delicious. Fried trout - 200 rubles. Six of them ate from the belly for 4 thousand. Khachapur is delicious but for a big company. Delicious tea. I miss this kitchen. In general, these are the most affordable prices in Gudauta with excellent cuisine.

After reading so many good reviews, we decided to eat at this cafe. Maybe it wasn't their day or the menopause, but they greeted us rudely. They served half-cooked food, the wine was diluted with alcohol, that after two glasses, they did not remember how they got home. They cheated on the check. The result: poisoning and minus two days from vacation. There's no way I'm going to eat there anymore!!!

The meat in most of the second courses is pork, although these dishes should contain beef.
They asked to make an omelet-they agreed, but billed 250 rubles for it. They were guided by the cost of scrambled eggs, which from 3 eggs costs 150 rubles. They said that we don't actually do it, but we did it for you, it wasn't on the menu. The surcharge probably went out for a non-standard order. Borscht costs 200, for an omelet 250- somehow I was completely surprised!
