Yes, the lighthouse is really working! We got there with my wife in the evening, when he started working. It seemed to us that it would be higher, but we didn't care))) The approach to it is not quite simple, through some kind of gate next to the former factory. But it didn't bother me) It doesn't burn all the time. As someone wrote, it burns for 5 seconds, about 8 rests. We took photos and videos and decided to go to the lighthouse itself. Of course it is closed, but we were impressed by the door! Antique, 188.. some year ago. 81 like. not the point... He's all steel. Such a "giant"! Monumental, powerful and modest, shining alone into the distance for up to 30 km, to wandering ships.....

A wonderful place!The purest sea (because it is a cape), not a large pebble, a strip of sand and a lighthouse.I have known him for more than half a century (all my life), I have climbed up more than once.Excellent view of the surrounding area, even New Athos is visible.I remember the lighthouse as snow-white, it was refreshed annually.And for thirty years now it has been rusting, although it continues to honk.The lighthouse keeper's house has been destroyed.Enthusiasts and funds are needed to restore and preserve this monument.

Vacation in August 2023. Minuses: 1).The distance from the center, minibuses rarely run - every 40-50 minutes, very full, you can not get in and ... wait for the next one. 2). Minibuses finish walking at 19-00, then only call a taxi - 400-500 rubles. 3).Lights are often turned off in the area, pumps are turned off and there is no water. 4). Together with friends, we lived in houses- along Krasnomayakskaya Street 90 and 92- the entrances are scary, dirty, the cobwebs hang to the floor, the electrics in the houses are old - when the air conditioner was constantly cutting down the plugs, the water pressure is very low - after the sea it is difficult to wash and it is difficult to wash the dishes, the water barely flows. And after 9 pm and until one o'clock in the morning there is no water, as the locals water the gardens. There are a lot of cockroaches in these houses-even infection carriers crawl in the entrances. There is a private sector near the houses, cows are constantly mooing and roosters are singing.5). It is very far to walk in the open sun from these houses to the bus stop. If you don't have a car and carry bags of groceries, it's a nightmare. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the market. If you are without a car, you should not settle here for a vacation. 6). There is no normal store, as well as at least a small collapse with fruits in small stalls - mostly water and alcohol.7). The road to the lighthouse is along the roadsides in the mountains of garbage. The lighthouse itself is a rusty, dirty structure. There is a toilet around it, since it is not on the beach.8). The beach is not big, no one cleans it. The entrance to the water is by large stones. There is no changing booth. Under a few trees, everything is polluted, as there is no toilet. The beach is blocked by huge rusty pillars - it can be seen that there was a fence once. I didn't find any advantages, the rest turned into a nightmare.
