I don't recommend going here. We booked a sauna with the guys for 1.5 hours. I called 5 times and clarified all the nuances. I was told 120 GEL per hour + if we want a massage and a scrub ( kisu ) 20 GEL per person. And there are small things like slippers and towels for 2-3 lari. I said that we had never been to such places and did not know anything. In the hope that at least something will be explained to us. As a result, they launched it silently and that's it. There was also a room with a toilet in the bathhouse itself, I went there and it turned out that it wasn't working, although I found out about it too late... I went out and told how I should wash it all off now. They told me, "It doesn't work like that." Cool, but better to warn. Well, they gave me a bucket to go wash everything after myself. They sniffed their tea very hard. As a result, we paid not 180 GEL as we thought, but 230 for some reason. It turned out that for the "kisu" procedure you need to buy some kind of gloves for the craftsmen who wipe you. Each one costs 10 lari . It was completely silent and I didn 't even understand anything . After the massage and washing, we were asked to pay for it separately in CASH. Naturally, we didn 't have it, so I ran to look for an ATM steamed up after the tribute in the rain . I took the money off the commission and paid. I tried to discuss all this with the cashier, but they didn't really listen to me and started talking on the phone. The service is terrible. They talked to us at the dump . They didn 't explain anything . In short, the whole impression was ruined just by the usual carelessness !

It looks like an ordinary public bathhouse, the room is old, but for that the impressions are unusual. Inside there are 10 showers, marble benches and a 2 by 4 meter pool with the same sulfuric water. Coming in for an hour is just the thing.

Probably the best public bath in the city. Everything is very modest, but clean and the water is constantly being updated.
Admission is 10 lari, tea is 5 lari, washing and massage is 20 lari.
It is open from early morning, 7:00 to 20:00
The water temperature is about +44...+46. it is very hot. It is difficult to withstand longer than 3 minutes.
There is a small sauna, but in this case it is not relevant, at least for me.

We decided to visit these public baths . Compared to the Russian steam room, this is a weak sauna, even the hydrogen sulfide water in the pool in the shower warms up more than this sauna.

There are few booths, there is water on the floor in the locker room, no one cleans it. Inside the bathhouse is no better, there is no shower head, water just pours out of the pipe, floors and walls have not seen repairs since the tsarist regime. One of the most democratic baths in terms of price. We wanted to choose baths where there is a hot pool with sulfur water. As a result, we booked an office for 4 people for an hour (probably no longer, since a maximum of 4 approaches of 10 minutes are recommended in the sulfur pool, no more). We chose an office where there was a hot pool, a cold font and a sauna. I strongly advise you to take it with a font, since the sulfur pool is really very hot (+48 degrees) and it's good to cool down in the font after it. The first time to plunge and go into the pool is unusually hot, but the next times it becomes easier.
At the price we got 110 lari per cabinet per hour. It is better to book at least a day in advance, day in and day out you are unlikely to get there.
The baths themselves are renovated, everything is clean inside. Slippers, towels or sheets can be rented for an additional fee.

They came and for the first 20 minutes they scooped out water from a personal bathtub with their hands, which was 50 degrees, so that they could at least lie down in this bathtub, well, and then they rushed.... the service and rudeness of the service staff simply kills, they really break down and begin to remind you in 40 minutes, they were kicked out after 55 minutes, although 60 minutes were announced. Moreover, with such dissatisfaction, as if we did not pay GEL 120 for 60 minutes. We came here last night and instead of a good mood, we left in horror of the service. It was completely unexpected, because 5* was announced.
It's possible that the staff just works seven days a week, so the poor people got mad.

Excellent baths! These are the cheapest sulfur baths in the area. Both the common area and the individual cabins. The entrance to the common area is 10 GEL, cabins from 70 to 140 GEL. The baths are open from 7:00 to 21:00.
I must say right away, if you have not been to a public bath or are very squeamish - this is not for you!
In the common area, the first room is a locker room, where for a fee you can take a sheet for 3 lari (needed only for the locker room and steam room) and buy tea for 5 lari (unlimited). From the locker room you enter a small room with 8 showers in the center, along the edges of a niche with sun beds where you can sit and where you will get a soap massage. At one end of the room there is a 2 by 3 meter pool with very hot water, at the other end there is a door to the toilet and a small steam room. I advise you to take a scrub and soap massage for 20 GEL, which will be done by colorful Georgian men. An hour is enough for everything. Going to the sauna is one of the best impressions about Georgia. It is very authentic due to the fact that this is not a sleek tourist attraction, but an old public institution.

It would be good to provide a rest room with a changing room - we had to go to the halls and those who changed clothes in the hall with bathrooms, it was hot and all the surfaces were wet - there was nowhere to put dry clothes. Of course, they adapted, but this is the time paid for in order to go sour in sulfur water.
The price does not include towels or sheets (sheets 2.5 GEL).
I really liked the peeling and massage/washing services (separate fee - 10 GEL each). Women need to be prepared that the bath attendant will ask them to take off the top of the swimsuit. Peeling is done with a special mitten, one side of which is made of carpet fabric (buy at the checkout in advance) and with the use of wine, it seemed to me (the smell) and the bath attendant confirmed it. After it, the skin is really peeled off!)) The massage is done using soap foam from the back from the toes to the head. A sensitive effect, sometimes very (very unpleasant). Madina Respect came to the girls on our visit. I won't tell you about how it went with the boys, somehow they are without much emotion.
You can order tea (+20 GEL), delicious, with herbs, + additionally lemon and mint.
The water is hot in the sulfur bath, you won't dive right away, you have to gradually sink)) It's cold in the cold)) If you stay in the cold for a little while, then in the hot (sulfuric) from the tips of your toes up your shins there will be a tingling sensation, as after an ice hole in a bath. Summary - very pleasant impressions/feelings and a desire to return.

We turned to the cashier with a question - why were we kicked out, they silently returned the money in half an hour. What's going on with the service? We, three girls, came to visit the common bath, but be prepared that at the checkout they will say that there is no bath in the women's department, only a mineral shower, and they will offer a separate bath for about 100 GEL for everyone instead of 10 GEL per person per hour. Like, just for an hour, the personal bath is free.
The water in the big tub is so hot that you can't even put your foot in, at least 50 degrees.
As a result, we bailed out hot mineral water for half an hour, poured cold water from the tap.
And as soon as everything was set up, we relaxed, as they began to knock very loudly and shout at us to go out, that the next ones were already waiting. And they didn't calm down until we were expelled.

They wash here as follows, first under a shower with soap to wash off the dirt, then you can go to the sauna, or you can immediately go to the pool, after the pool we cool down on marble beds, repeat 3-4 times, all this is in one room, so it is very humid and warm there.
After water treatments, strong tea.
I spent 1.5 hours there.
I love baths, so it came to me, someone who only goes for a beer is likely to die there, but I think this is true for the common room, in private rooms it is probably more light.
