Avoid this place at all costs if you are not a resident of the area!
Since the restaurant manager or the waiter, whoever he is, claims that I have never been to this restaurant, here is a photo of my meal. One roast meal was a problem for three people, another for five, and I was fined more than ten times. We were fined more than ١٣٠٠٠ Turkish lira.
You can watch the camera go back to the date of our entry, see the Asian family who ordered the boxy barbecue that you provided, and they fined us a special price.
After reviewing Google reviews, other customers faced the same problem, inflated prices, and something completely different from what they ordered.
On Sunday مايو may ٢٠٢٥, around ten o'clock in the evening, my family and I visited the restaurant "Sultan kebab and fish", near the Fidan City hotel. We had just returned from a long trip, and we decided to go to a restaurant near our hotel. The service here was very bad. The waiters were rude and inattentive, acted as if they were doing us a favor by serving us. From the moment we were seated, we were ignored, rudely spoken to, treated with obvious disrespect - especially when they realized that we were not local residents.
They were impatient when we asked about the menu, blinked their eyes in disgust when we tried to clarify the prices, and completely disappeared as soon as it was time to pay - to return with an overpriced bill without any explanation.
Hospitality is supposed to be the essence of any restaurant, and this place has failed miserably. No one deserves to be treated this way, especially when he pays extra. I would not recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good service and respect.
Our experience of eating here was very bad-not because of the food (which was average quality at best), but because of the blatant overpricing and exploitative behavior.
He charged us exorbitant prices, far exceeding what any reasonable menu indicates, up to five times. What made matters worse was the feeling that this was intentional because we are not Turks. It was clear that the local population was treated differently - their rations were larger, and their bills were much lower for the same varieties.
It felt like blackmail. A really disappointing and unfair experience. This kind of treatment damages the reputation of Turkish hospitality, which we have found great elsewhere.
Tourists deserve honesty and respect - not to be deceived.
The waiters in this restaurant are simply not qualified for the job. They lacked the simplest hygiene standards, did not have the slightest understanding of customer service. One of them looked like he hadn't washed his hands or put on his uniform for days, another was touching food and touching dirty surfaces - absolutely unacceptable.
Moreover, their behavior was dismissive, rude and unwelcome. No greeting, no smile, no effort to make us feel comfortable. It seemed like they didn't care about the customers or their responsibilities.
It is shocking that a restaurant tolerates such unprofessional behavior of its employees. This kind of negligence not only spoils the food experience, but also raises serious health concerns. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Avoid the restaurant "Sultan kebab and fish", which is close to the Fidan City hotel, it is an absolute scam, it should be closed. The likes of this restaurant offends the reputation of Turkey Lovers.
The place of the tourists' divorce. The prices are very high. They gave $34 for two kebabs. Include + 15 percent in the service receipt without warning.
Be careful.
By the way, the food is not tasty either.
They deceive you, avoid them. The price in the receipt is twice as high as the real one. You start asking questions, they shout with red eyes. It's not delicious. Divorce. Never go there. It's terrible!!!!!
