One of the advantages is the location - very close to the beach, and in general to everything, shops and entertainment.
Otherwise, the cons are that the hammam has been closed since our stay there, and when it was working, it was a complete mess, some illegal foreign women worked without a work permit and did what they wanted there, up to insults and physical abuse towards tourists. In general, there is no control and the safety of tourists is of little interest to the management of this hotel. The pool is located under the windows and balconies of the rooms, I somehow felt someone spit from above landing next to me while lying on a chaise longue. The hotel itself is decrepit, kettles and hair dryers and televisions - goodbye to youth and in a faulty condition. The bed linen on the day of arrival was scary to say the least, but it was replaced the next day. Cleaning every day, but for a C grade. Garbage is not taken out if it is not in the bucket, but next to it. There was a deflated swimming circle on our balcony, then it disappeared. We still haven't figured out where he went. The hotel manager is not interested in this. The restaurant is so-so, there are few visitors, because it is tasteless. And there are no bars at all on the territory of the hotel. There is only a restaurant. But it has nothing to do with the hotel - it is just rented out, just like the hammam. In general, I would call it a flophouse, nothing more. There can be no question of any 3 stars. And the hotel does not have its own beach. There is a nearby Cleopatra municipal. There are no complaints about the beach, it's just wonderful.
The hotel is located next to Cleopatra beach, you can say across the street, 2 minutes on foot. The only thing that few people write is that the sand on Cleopatra beach is very small pebbles, and when entering the sea there are stones and slabs - there is no "sand" in the sea itself.
They put us in a room on the 6th floor overlooking the pool. The room had a view of the sea and the mountains, because the room was high.
The room for two is quite spacious, there is a living room and a bedroom, as well as a large balcony. The furniture is old, of course, but everything is intact and in working condition. Neat and clean.
Cleaning was done every day.
It is better to take salt, sugar, oil, detergent and a sponge for washing dishes with you in small containers. You can buy all this on the spot, but you don't use them for the entire rest period.
There are BIM and Sok shops nearby, 900 meters from one side and the other there are Migros. If you go towards Konakla, there is Carefour and big Migros.
It takes 20 minutes to walk to the city center, and 7-10 minutes to get to the funicular, which lifts up the mountain.
A Russian girl, Angela, works at the reception after 15:00, she is always ready to help and she will always tell you all the questions about how to get somewhere, what is where.
The hotel has its own swimming pool, there are few people there, there are always free sun beds and you can sunbathe and swim.
The necessary utensils for cooking are available.
In the restaurant at the hotel - I did not like the food - it is expensive and not very tasty.
The city is full of cafes where you can eat well for a cheap price. There's even a restaurant across the street with good deals.
I liked the hotel itself - the only drawback for us was "very good audibility of the neighbors", it was audible in the next room when the guys turned on the music or knocked on the door at night, but of course not to us, but to the neighbors.)))
The music in the restaurant did not bother us, because the room overlooked the pool and there the audibility is much less.
When we left, our flight was delayed for 8 hours. While we were sitting at the hotel and waiting for the transfer, the hotel owner treated us to their local tortillas so that we would not be so sad))
I would recommend this hotel for people who are not picky, for whom the rest itself is important, and not the place where you rest. Everything you need for a holiday is here, if you are looking for luxury and delights - of course it is not here.
Tired rooms and furniture. But the polite staff and the proximity to the beach do their job! In the restaurant at the hotel, the most delicious (dorado, chupra 65 lira)!!!
A good inexpensive hotel. It's three steps to the sea. Of the disadvantages - WiFi only at the reception, air conditioning is very expensive -7 euros / day. The rooms are cleaned every day, and technical requests like replacing the shower head are immediately responded to.
