The vacation was really bad . We had expected to have better days in Egypt .
I’d like to start with all the disadvantages we have faced with :
-no WI-Fi, only a paid one . So ,for six days ,one person,you” ll get to pay 20€. That’s too pricey while at the same time there are hotels which offer free Internet .
RUSSIANS . I’d really ask all Ukrainians to stay away from this hotel since we have faced with the discrimination of the Ukrainians as the nation and a bad behavior of the staff towards us. We’ve been to Egypt before and already tried lots of things. So,when the tourist agent was badgering us into the dessert activities . We just politely refused to. He asked “Where are you from?” . I answered “Ukraine”. He said “oh,then it’s quite understandable why you’re behaving like that”. I decided to put up with it and not make a big fuss. But in the evening that night, there was a bar worker at the beach who was disrespectfully trying to copy my English accent . When I have contacted the manager of the hotel , he tried to help us and figure it out. We came to that man and he just told that my English was really nice and he wanted to speak it with the same accent . (But believe me ,it’s not what he was talking about ) . BTW,the manager told me that I was exaggerating and “being too vulnerable”. 😂👍
Russians are just horrible and unbearable,always drunk ,shouting and screaming. They don’t have the norms of the behavior. They could easily spoil your vacation .
Loud Russian music everywhere , at the main stage, even at 2 a.m at our hotel hall. Some Russians decided to listen to music at night , thought it was OK. I had to call to the reception and they dealt with it . Thank God.
The service is too bad except the cleaning , it was OK and the other paid stuff. If it’s not paid, they were behaving to you like the shit. Big queues in the main restaurant, no meat at your disposal ,every time you have to wait for the forks and knives , napkins and other stuff. And if you ask the waiter to give you the forks ,they said that it was not allowed and we had to wait for 10 and more minutes. And about the service ,we were given a room number with two separate beds but we had paid for the double bed .
The food was OK but it’s more like a half or full board ,not like all-inclusive . You don’t get the posh food or sth extraordinary. Meat and seafood you’re given by the chef in the street while waiting in the big queues. The food was not hot ,sometimes even cold.
A big issue with the renovation of the building . The rooms and the territory is really worn out , it needs some fixing . But it’d be better done while being closed. Still nobody considers it and you may tackle with loud sounds of different machines for fixing while lying at the beach or near the pool.
The hotel is really OVERWHELMED WITH PEOPLE. No spare sunbeds,dinner tables and so on. You either have to wait or not use it at all.
Cleaning is OK . It was done without any problems.
Location is really nice but be aware of the fact that you wouldn’t swim in the sea (unless you are a nice swimmer and can swim at the depth of 5 metres)
In the information page (you’ll be given it after the check-in) it’s written about late dinner. But take into account that it’s only for people who check in late,not everyone .
So,I’d really recommend visiting other hotels if you care about your money and vacation . If there was an option to evaluate this hotel with a minus,I would definitely do that. I want you to understand that it’s not FOUR STARS,it’s barely TWO.
And the icing on the cake, I have cut my foot with a rock or because of a rocky sand since everywhere was dirt and thrown litter!!!!!!!!
So ,keep your money and look for some better locations !

I spent a week at this hotel and it was a week of super fun. Friendly staff, clean beaches, large territory, delicious food and everything you need for a holiday. The animators here are the best. Lots of interesting activities: volleyball, dancing, yoga. In the evening we went with the animators to the club and it was a lot of fun. Thank you very much for the pleasant time spent here.

Great hotel! We had a rest there from January 10 to January 18 with a family of 6 people (3 children aged 8-11 and 16) - everyone was very satisfied!
The territory is beautiful, everything is clean - the territory itself is cleaned every morning and throughout the day the staff goes to collect garbage. The most beautiful sea with emerald water is easy to see. There is also a sandy approach, there is also a coral reef with a lot of marine life - we took masks with us, dived and looked at this miracle!
The lagoon is accessed from all sides, which is also very convenient - there is also a place for children, and there is a deeper place. A gorgeous pool with warm water, the children did not come out 👌
You can use the infrastructure of two neighboring hotels - one has a normal water park, we liked it, but the disadvantage is that the water there was not heated-it was not very comfortable in January, and the second hotel hooked us with its picturesque green territory and playground - small, but cozy and interesting.
The hotel staff (namely Sunny Days El Palacio Resort) is very polite, helpful, friendly, everyone is smiling. No one asked us for dollars (as many write), they left us at will. The room stock is a bit old, of course, but everything is decent, everything works - it doesn't fall apart, we lived in the main building on the 4th floor (#4420 and #4422), we cleaned every day - we changed towels, renewed paper, shampoos, tea, coffee. By the way, the rooms have electricity.kettles (clean), new hair dryers. Floors are poorly cleaned, which is perhaps the only negative, but not a critical one. It feels like they're just sweeping away the visible dirt/sand.
Everyone was satisfied with the food too - everything is very tasty and varied! We went to a seafood restaurant and an Italian restaurant, but we enjoyed eating more at the main restaurant. 😅
As for the weather in January, we were lucky, one of the 8 days was very windy, but we still swam, and the rest of the days were hot and sunny.
The water in the sea was 20-21 degrees, the air temperature was 23-26 degrees, and the pool was 28 degrees.
In general, our family was delighted with this holiday, I would gladly recommend this hotel! Budget, very decent and with the most beautiful views!

A very nice hotel with a beautiful sea, both open and with its own enclosed sea lagoon. The staff is polite, the rooms are clean- they are cleaned every day.
The hotel is a bit old, but you can see how gorgeous it was when it was new. It was obvious that some parts of the hotel were undergoing major repairs with the replacement of windows and doors, and a lot of new mattresses were being brought.
The food is delicious and satisfying. There are queues, of course, and you have to look for a table, but you don't have to wait.
A water park with quite good slides.
You can go out for a walk in the city to buy souvenirs and mangoes much cheaper than on excursions. For example, a scarab costs 1 dollar in the city, and at least 5-8 dollars for excursions.

Nice hotel!!!Solid 4,100% I want to say a big thank you to our guide -HAMADA is JUST WONDERFUL, he solved all the issues quickly!!!Well, a little bit about the sea and the hotel.The sea is just a miracle:there is also a karal bay, with extraordinary beauty of fish and carals, who are seasick in the sea, they can safely save money and see all the same things without leaving the hotel, there is a bay for swimming where it is deep enough, entrance only from stairs or from stones, but they definitely need carals so as not to scratch their feet.The food is monotonous, but there is everything and potatoes in different versions, rice, pasta, vegetables,fish,chicken,beef,fresh vegetables,olives, various sauces, fruits, scrambled eggs for breakfast, yogurt, cereals,pancakes. In general, if you find fault, then of course you can find some flaws, but in general the hotel is good, all malfunctions (air conditioners, etc.) are quickly fixed.They clean cleanly for free!!!(There was a birthday cake-a compliment from the hotel)

The hotel itself is pleasant, clean, the staff is polite, there are shops in the city nearby (I do not recommend buying anything in shops that are right at the hotel, prices are high, it's better to walk 5 minutes and buy the same thing 5-10 times cheaper) to Sharaton street 7 minutes by taxi (200 rubles). The yacht takes you on a wonderful diving trip from the hotel. Representatives of the tour operator (anex) aggressively sell excursions, and constantly scare something, do not listen to them. Inside there is a lagoon protected from the wind, which is very good for relaxing in winter with cold winds. The left cape of the hotel has its own reef, on the right the cape borders the neighboring hotel, which has a very beautiful private reef for Hurghada, where you can swim and admire the fish. The left building has a very beautiful view of the sea from the rooms. The territory is small, but there is a place to walk, there is a minimum of vegetation (only palm trees). Nearby there are three more Sunny Days hotels, which can be used and visited, including a water park. Among the disadvantages, there is a constant shortage of tables in the main restaurant, a meager set of drinks that are poured into small plastic cups. The food is good, the assortment is sufficient. Room cleaning is good, towels are changed daily, linen and mattresses are fresh, but the rooms themselves are "tired", but repairs are underway. A TV with 4 Russian channels (TNT and three more with movies).The staff mostly understands Russian. Animation is present, not visited. There are three slides and a heated swimming pool. Early check-in is $ 30, late check-out is $ 10 for every hour of the first three hours, then a little cheaper. There is no Wi-Fi and only at the reception. I had a vacation with my son in December. I really liked it. This is one of the few places where there is just a beach for swimming with a sandy sunset and a beach with a beautiful coral reef. For this reason, the hotel is never overcrowded. I was impressed by the very good attitude of the staff, the rooms directly overlooking the bay and balconies. I liked the food, there were even crabs on the menu. The rooms are furnished with old furniture, but they are cleaned every day and very well. In the evening, a concert program right by the pool and a disco until 23 o'clock. During the day, there is an entertainment program with circus acrobats on the beach. There's a big pool like an aquapark, and there's a bar where the coffee is sooo delicious. We are very glad that we were there.

A good hotel for a great and unforgettable stay in Hurghada. The pleasant design of the hotel, a clean large area, the staff is polite and friendly. Yes, there is also a reef at the end of the lagoon, it is interesting to swim with a mask, not as diverse and beautiful as in Charmel, but this is the only thing that the hotel enjoyed. We took excursions to the bathyscaphe, but the local sea is also very poor in wildlife and corals. In general, it seems like everything that should be in the hotel, but there is always something missing, some kind of completeness.

A wonderful hotel!!!

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days, we are just delighted!
Every day was interesting and unforgettable in its own way.
We got a great animation team🔥
The guys are very energized and positive, the children also liked it very much, everyone is delighted!
There are a lot of activities in the hotel, so we didn't have time to get bored. And they tightened their health, and they were emotionally charged, and they did not forget to disperse the salads 👍

A normal hotel is cleaned. The rooms are clean and tidy. There is an electric kettle, coffee, tea, sugar. They replenish it every day. There is also shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom and even a washcloth:-). We booked in advance, but required some kind of confirmation of the reservation code, we provided it, but the manager demanded a deposit of one hundred dollars from us. Before the arrival, some kind of notification. And we took a receipt from him for charging us $ 100, the dollars were not given in Egyptian pounds. Then they took them away and there were no 200 pounds. In general, they have those businessmen at the reception. There were also problems with issuing a second card from the room, they constantly wanted money from us.

It's just a great hotel - I'm staying here for the second time. The weather is even better in January than it was in early April (2024). The sea is gorgeous with a coral reef, the food is very tasty and varied, there are great fish restaurants in the city (next to the fish market). There is a heated swimming pool for children. We had a rest with a friend from 15.09 to 26.09. The hotel matches its price. I liked the lagoon the most. Even in windy weather, you can swim safely. The rooms are in need of repair, of course, but everything you need is there, and we only spent the night there. There are no complaints about food, you will not stay hungry, concerts and various shows are organized in the evening. Many thanks to animator Ilya, a very nice smiling guy. He always told me what events were taking place at the hotel. Where to go in the city.

The hotel consists of 3 complexes (of 3) hotels, where all vacationers in Sunny have access. In Sunny El Palacio 4*, the lagoon itself is beautiful, everything is fine in it, except for the size of the beach, be prepared that you need to occupy places on the sand from early in the morning, after 9 you already feel like you are in the Krasnodar Territory in July.
Bars are a different story. If you give a dollar, they make it delicious for you, if not, they just dilute it for you.
The animation is good, dancing, yoga, volleyball, etc., the announced disco after 23:00 at the hotel was canceled several times, but they offer an alternative-departure to the city for $ 15.
Restaurants that are paid were disappointed.
We went on the advice of the fish and Asian. I was not impressed with the fish, we stayed hungry. For a fee, you are offered a set of seafood from the same free restaurant on fish day. The Asian one was more impressive, which is on the territory of the second hotel-but don't expect sushi, it's 3 pieces of simple sushi with undercooked rice and cucumber. But in general, at least there is a menu and there is more choice of dishes. There is also a meat and Italian one (but all the vacationers rejected it with us).
The main restaurant is not big, the queues are long if you do not come to the opening. Because of the vacationers in other hotels, everyone goes to the main restaurant, the choice is good (fruits are varied). The theme days were (fish, Mexican, etc.)
Desserts were all of the same type. There was a bar at the end of the hotel on the pier serving French fries and burgers (top cutlets).
There's also a separate pier to see the fish.
The declared heated pool was heated once for all 10 days. As it is, the temperature there is about 23 degrees. It wasn't very good because of the wind and the cool weather. 3 slides descend directly into the pool, which is so crowded.
A large water park is available in the third hotel.
On the day of check-in, we checked in early, went to lunch (we didn't get to it at the check-out-either you have lunch at the check-out with a voucher, or at the check-in) The bracelets were cut off at 12:00.
As for the rooms, yes, they are old, but again, when checking in, a chocolate bar and dollars can solve your question. We were settled in a new remote building with a view of the sea (the view is beautiful), but we can get through the entire lagoon. The room was clean during the rest. But the handle on the balcony is broken, they closed it as best they could. The hair dryer wire was also cracked, but it wasn't critical. They listened to us at the reception, but ignored our requests to fix it.
There are plenty of shops and souvenirs on site and nearby in the city.
Everyone recommended the fish market, but we didn't get there. The taxi is full-$1 and you are there.
We fly to Egypt more than once, there is something to compare, the weather turned out to be unexpectedly windy, but in general, as usual, smiling Egyptians who still do not understand Russian well lifted the mood.
The hotel is not on the 4th floor, there is a much better one nearby - the 3 hotel of their chain (Palma) looks even nicer. The territory is large and beautiful. If you are positive, changing the situation or going to Egypt for the first time is a good option.
P.S.: Economy by Egyptian Airlines is stressful!

There were 7 days from October 15 to October 22, 2024 . EVERYTHING IS IN ORDER . We had a room with an adjacent door to another room , we put pillows so that the wind wouldn't howl / CLEANING - 5* smart , attentive , responsive . / THE SEA - the sea is amazing , the lagoon and children can swim and adults have somewhere to swim . There is a pool with slides for children , not much , but there is . They look after the children well, control their descent. There is a children 's room - IT was NOT , there is a SPA - it was not . ANIMATION sucks a little bit , in the evening it's sad when a girl dances a belly dance , I feel TERRIBLY sorry for her for as many as five tracks in a row, it would be good if she could still dance , but the hotel guests danced better. Activities on the beach, well, it's too weak, they danced, no one was interested, as well as volleyball and some kind of ball game. A children 's disco , THE SAME THING , a selection of 5 children 's songs for all evenings , it was already chocolatey , nauseating . Well , okay , we were without children , we were passing by . RESTAURANT - there were no questions, the food is fresh and delicious. thanks . the only thing is when you can't find a place, there are few tables, even with street seats. It 's not the first time . It's all good. We have added more slides in the center of the hotel. There are a couple of smaller hotels under this hotel.

The rooms are neat, there is a kettle, water (3 bottles).

They feed for 4+. Yoghurts, fruits, meat, fish, shrimp, soups, tortillas, pancakes - everything is in sufficient quantity.
The pools are heated to a very comfortable temperature
The room stock is old, do not expect miracles for this money, but the bathroom is renovated. Beds, mattresses, pillows, towels - everything is new and clean.
The room is quiet, the hotel is not very crowded at all.
The water park was not open every day. The water is warm, the slides are great.
The disadvantage is crossing the roadway on the way to food and the sea. Cars are a priority there. It is better to use the underpass.
There is no hair dryer in the rooms, perhaps it is the only one for the entire hotel. You'd better take yours.
You can't find an iron either.
There are a lot of sun beds, there are no problems.
In December, the sea is cool, we didn't swim much.
It's cool in the evenings. You can sit in silence by the sea with a glass of champagne, take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We just got back from Sunny Days and already miss you very much! The uniqueness and highlight of Sunny days is that everyone will find their own sea here! There are many approaches, and gentle ones, and to the depth, and into the lagoon, and into the sea, and corals and fish! There are no queues on the slopes. At any moment, you can easily go up and down into the water. The sea is gorgeous, affectionate, beautiful! The resort is quite windy, to be honest. But, on the 3rd day, either the wind died down, or we got used to the winds!
And what a disco there is at the pier, under the starry sky - just a delight!
For $5, you can get incomparably delicious and beautiful cocktails in the lobby bar!
According to the menu: fish, French fries, dates and coconut dessert have become my favorites! The restaurant on the second floor with carpet, white chair covers and melodious music captivates with its atmosphere and sea views!
Omelet with vegetables turned out to be the most delicious at breakfast! With the dexterity of a magician in a circus, the chefs turn over the eggs by throwing them into the air, not letting the guests in the queue get bored. The hotel staff, by the way, are all as friendly and positive as possible.

The rooms are old and shabby, but the sea view is gorgeous, literally 10 meters from the sea. We visited this hotel in 2023 in the month of October. The rest turned out to be unforgettable. We were on a tour of Orange Bay. We rode a boat, swam in the beautiful clear sea and saw all the fauna of the Red Sea. We tried the most delicious mango and of course incomparably delicious ice cream. And it was not without beautiful memorable photos, a lot of photos. We visited the Turkish bath without fail and received the whole range of spa treatments. The massage therapists are super👍 the food is excellent. Lots of meat and vegetables. The sea is gorgeous, the entry into the sea at the hotel super child did not leave the water. There are no winds and waves like in Turkey. The staff is helpful and polite. The location of the hotel is different from the airport in 15-20 minutes. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

After spending one night in the room, you will agree to an additional payment under normal conditions. We were on New Year's Eve, so one restaurant was closed for the entire time of our arrival, 11 days, in the furthest hotel across the street where Aquapark did not have a restaurant, and so all three hotels went to one, people, noise, as in a free canteen. Finding a table, standing in line for food half the evening, that's what happened almost every day, so meals were sometimes skipped. As for the sun beds, they were occupied by any kind of slippers and towels near the lagoon, so to speak, the caretakers and cleaners sell them to you for money if you don't get up at 6 a.m. and you don't take them yourself, pay. But this review is not about Egypt itself, but about a hotel that made a so-so impression. The food is generally ok. Monotonous, without frills, but quite edible and you won't stay hungry. There's nothing to say about room cleaning, it just doesn't exist. But every day they deliver dirt from corner to corner. The staff is responsive only when they are tipped. And this is not a dollar at all, but they perceive only from 5 and above. The only thing in the dining room is very friendly staff, those who put the cutlery on the tables and clean the dishes. Those who are on the distribution according to their mood, if suddenly you want more than 3 pancakes (and the size is like our pancakes), they will look at you as if you are leaving all the other vacationers hungry. The sea and the beach brighten up the rest, here it is on both sides of the building. On the one hand there is an exit from the steps to the open sea, on the other there is a lagoon and there is a sandy approach as well as from the piers. The location of the hotel is good, there are several approaches to the sea (different depths). The beaches are equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. There are several pools with slides and bars, and a water park on the territory of the three lakes.
Varied and delicious food, interesting dishes are prepared every lunch and dinner on the street. The drinks are slightly diluted, but it doesn't really feel like it.
The rooms are old, but everything is neat and clean. The air conditioner didn't work very well for the first day (the photon ran out), but this problem was quickly fixed.
Towels are replaced only at your request, you should be aware of this. Shampoo, shower gel and soap are provided every day.

A huge territory, lots of pools, slides, near the sea. We ran into the sea, then into the pool. Sandy sloping beach. The perfect entry into the sea. Shark nets. There is a fenced area for children, where it is shallow.
There are no problems with sun beds. They always found it for our company.
A gorgeous reef. Just wow! There are a lot of beautiful fish, you can meet a stingray, dolphins swim.
There is good animation during the day and in the evening too. Of course, it is inferior to Turkish, but we liked it: belly dancing, fakir and fire show. Mini disco for children.
There is a disco at 12 at night right by the sea. Very beautiful.
There is an excursion center, there is an alley with shops, you can ride a camel, buy mangoes.
There are several restaurants that can be visited for free. We liked Italian. Both delicious and excellent service. And alcohol is free.
The rooms are bright and large. Extra beds are provided free of charge if 4 are checked in to the standard.
Of the disadvantages, I can only mention the old room stock. But after 2-3 days you just don't notice it. All the advantages compensate for this trifle. At the same time, it can be seen that repairs are regularly carried out, tiles are being changed somewhere, grout is being updated somewhere. All this does not interfere with rest. The hotel is trying hard.

If there is some kind of malfunction, you need to go to the reception, they will make an application, they will decide (for example, the light bulb was not on on our balcony). We lived in a standard room on the ground floor. 1 double bed, 1 single + they brought us another extra bed, as a result it turned out to be 2 double beds. The mattresses are comfortable. The rooms are spacious. There is even a niche for bags, but we had a stroller parked in it. The bay is 40 steps from the balcony to the sea. In general, on the vast territory of 3 hotels, you can use all the buns, so that the sea is for every taste: a bay, a smooth approach, sand, stones, a beach in the spirit of the Bounty advertisement, where stingrays and various fish were seen near the shore, a marina). There is a water park in the distant hotel through the Otelevsky pedestrian crossing. There were always few tourists here, so my guys rolled in plenty and without queues. The food is simple, but delicious, homemade: potatoes, rice, pasta, beef, chicken, fish, vegetables, fruits. But I want to mention sweets separately. Very tasty! There were queues in the main restaurant, but there were almost always tables. In the middle of the vacation, we found a new restaurant in the reception building with stunning sea views. I bought a room with a sea view in advance! The view is great! There is a swimming pool and slides for children. You can swim in the lagoon, there is gradually a depth of up to 5 meters, as it is written. You can go to the sea, not deep. The entrance is good, sandy. There are corals with fish, but not many. It's a long way to the city center, it's better to take a taxi. But be careful with this! The rest turned out great! I recommend the hotel!
