I was there too in 1984 at the labor and recreation camp from the 42nd school in Murmansk. They lived in former monastic cells. I remember we ate cherries there heartily, and after work we caught crayfish at the reservoir.
A unique place! A steep, wet shore! It was so far to the opposite shore that it was blurred in a haze from the water! They also rested and worked at the labor and recreation camp in 1985. We picked cherries, then cherries, apples and pears! We had a great time and earned something else! We came from Murmansk, from school #35. There was another school, I don't remember which number... They lived in a building that was used as a hotel. The former cells of the monks. There were no more whole buildings, except for the remains of the cathedral building, where a club with an outdoor dance floor was located.
