A Sanctuary of Peace and Devotion
Attending Sunday liturgy at the Monastery has become a cherished weekly ritual. The moment I step through the historic gates, a sense of peace washes over me. The monastery itself is a masterpiece of architectural beauty, steeped in history and radiating a profound sense of holiness.
The heart of this sacred space lies in its community. Mother Superior exudes warmth and compassion, welcoming all with open arms. Her genuine kindness is mirrored in the other nuns, who create a truly welcoming atmosphere. The liturgies themselves are deeply moving experiences, filled with soulful music, heartfelt prayers, and a sense of collective devotion.
The Monastery is more than just a place of worship; it's a haven where one can find solace, spiritual nourishment, and a genuine sense of belonging. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this extraordinary community.

A wonderful small but very spiritual monastery, which is located right in the Brest fortress! Abbess Mother Alexandra is a wonderful person who, with her sisters, tries to refine the monastery and make it convenient for prayer! A very cozy summer temple!

An interesting, historical Orthodox place. It is at the stage of its development. There are two churches in the monastery. There is one inside the main building and a second summer one on the territory. There are 16 sisters in the monastery. The workers stop for a few days. Liturgies are held on Sundays, and a lot of people come. Lots of kids. The atmosphere is calm and sincere.

We were in the Brest fortress on August 1, 2024. Before that, we went to the St. Nicholas garrison monastery on the territory of the fortress. Then we went to this church and wanted to go in. An old man who looked like either a guard or a caretaker came out and said that you can't enter the territory in your underpants. We were in shorts, on the street +28. To our question, does God really need a dress code, he replied that he didn't need it, but you can't wear underpants without distinguishing underpants from shorts, and asked us to leave! I understand if such a remark had been made by an abbot or a nun, or an incomprehensible old man. The attitude is just disgusting!!

I rarely come here because I live on the other side of the city. There are two temples on the territory of the monastery: a summer one and inside the fortress building, where the main part of the monastery is located, in which services are performed in winter. If you like prayer silence without excessive fussiness, noise and a large crowd of worshippers, then this is the place for you. You will not hear male voices among the singers - the singers of the monastery are mainly novices and nuns. The quiet, tender singing of which disposes the soul to penitent feelings and prayerful sighs... To order trebs (one of the lowest in Brest) prayer commemorations, sorokoust, commemorations for the liturgy, prayers for health, for students, for pregnant women, for those sick with cancer, a separate prayer from a month to a year, as well as to purchase church utensils, you can always in the icon shop of the monastery, which works regardless of the schedule Worship services

A beautiful monastery. The territory is cleaned, everything is modest, but tasteful. You feel peaceful, especially in the summer prayer pavilion. I ordered trebs by phone and on a personal visit. The employees are attentive, kind, polite people, there are no frowning faces, they all tell you what you would not ask. They sent the Blessing of the Holy Mother of God Convent by mail (a postcard from the monastery with lines from the Holy Scriptures,
which is very nice. The prices for trebs and church candles are very low. The pastries in the monastery are the tastiest. I recommend you to visit .

An Orthodox monastery. In 2011, a spacious summer church was built, where all Services are held in the warm season. The plans include the reconstruction of 12 casemates of the Brest Fortress, which are supposed to house a Sunday school, a refectory for pilgrims, workshops, food and storage facilities. Currently, there are more than thirty nuns in the monastery, who are obedient in the monastery and in the courtyard.

Definitely not for tourists!!! I will express my impressions...
There is nothing interesting here, perhaps the work on the improvement of the monastery has not yet been completed, since it was opened not very long ago, in 2002.
In general, it gives the impression of a simple household, upset by a construction fence made of concrete slabs. Beds, plantings and all that...
for the first time I see a summer temple, I'm surprised...

I would have rated it lower, but the bells are ringing amazingly there.
We were going to touch the history, the sanctity of the old walls of the temple. And in fact, the concept of a Summer temple was introduced, in fact a large gazebo of an incomprehensible style in which icons and candle stands were placed. The staff tells everyone not to put candles there, and not to go out this door. So just close it or place a sign that the exit is closed. No sanctity, just commerce.
