The oldest monastery and temple in the city. It has never been closed. A very "salted" place. The miraculous icon of the Theotokos of Kazan. Spiritual abbot Archim. Sergius (unfortunately, transferred to another diocese), and all the priests
I was in this valley a certain number of years ago invited to a festive meal, if I'm not mistaken, for Whitsunday. I don't want to offend any of the gray-haired, overweight monks, but.. What caught my eye/stuck in my memory is that a 16-18-year-old girl served at a festive meal in a monastery! Otherwise, I will praise you-as a person who is not poor, I have seen many table tables, but I still remember this one-it was so diverse.
A very cool old monastery of the 20th century.
Unreal father.
We came to the Sunday sermon today at 10 a.m., a little early.
Once upon a time, many many years ago, I was baptized here, it was about 10/11. I am 48 years old now, I live in Moscow. But we come to our relatives and on Sundays, of course, we must come here.
The christening was done there, we signed up in advance. I liked Father Nikolai/Alexander is a very friendly, simple man. A good choice in the church shop.
A wonderful manastyr. A wonderful temple of unusual architecture with very interesting icons. A place on the banks of the Dvina River. But the location in modern Vitebsk is not very good now. Modern industrial buildings have completely hidden the monastery from the eyes of passers-by.
When the granddaughters were baptized, the priest took away the towels from both of them. And the towels used to wipe the children should not be taken away, they are kept for the benefit of children.
