I had a chance to visit both the Kiev Pechersk Lavra and the Svyatogorsk Lavra , everyone was impressed, but Pochaevskaya simply amazed with its grandeur, solemnity, beauty, I just can't believe that a person could build such a thing .

A cave that you can only crawl into on your stomach, a powerful place!A spring with water of only +4, +8 degrees is a body charge and cleansing when you plunge three times!! On the territory, we spent the night in a hotel , for pilgrims , clean , tidy and you can take a shower from the road!We need to go again!

Christ is Risen! I've known about this HOLY place for a long time from stories. Especially about the elders who lived there and about the healings of the sick that they performed. That's really who had faith - the size of a mustard seed.
I wonder if there are no such elders now, and even more so in Pochaev? I don't know why, but I really want to get to this monastery. Yesterday I was at the church and one woman told me that she had been there for a long time before 2014.
I went into the temple and such feelings came flooding in, I wanted to cry. When the icon of the Mother of God was lowered, it felt like She was hugging you. She did not feel so good in any monastery as in Pochaev.
It is not possible to get there now. I think there will be more time and I will definitely come there.
I would like to talk with the elders or just with a sensible father, here on the website. I want to ask a lot of questions and get a competent answer , but unfortunately, I wrote to the websites of many monasteries , asked for contacts of elders, priests, so far no one has responded, probably not up to me as a sinner.

Hello, I do not know how to write to the Holy Dormition Pochaev Lavra, I have read a lot about it. The fact is that my mother, her name is Valentina, is very ill with pneumonia, is on artificial ventilation in the intensive care unit of the hospital for patients with cortnovirus, she is unconscious. The course of the disease is extremely severe, doctors give a "bad" prognosis. If this is possible, and if this review is seen in the Lavra, please pray for her recovery, I no longer know what to do.....please. I have no one closer to my mother.

I was there a long time ago with a friend in 2004. We stayed in a private house with stove heating. The monastery is very beautiful. I was especially shocked by the service of the three bishops on the eve of the Akathist Sabbath, when they sing the Akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos during Lent. I was very afraid to climb into the cave of the Rev. Job of Pochaevsky, because according to belief, Orthodox Christians with unrepentant sins get stuck in a narrow loophole. But then everything worked out. I recommend. I regret that due to the events taking place in Ukraine and Russophobic sentiments, I cannot take my wife and son there.

I was born on the territory of the Lavra myself! The building in which the maternity hospital was organized belonged to the Lavra. Before I was born, it was expropriated - and I was born there!) The Pochaev Lavra is undoubtedly one of the Wonders of the World!

A unique place. We went for two days. The all-night service and the liturgy seemed to fly by. The fraternal choir turned out the soul, tears flowed - I did not notice. The confession is deep and heartfelt. And happiness, when you leave the priest who absolved sins, cannot be conveyed... It is not only the splendor of the decoration of the temples that amazes, but also the feeling of the uniqueness of the spirit and atmosphere of this holy place.

I went to Pochaev in 2013. The sensations are indescribable! When I left, I even cried looking out the window. Such singing in the choir, as if you are in paradise! A good hotel on the territory of the monastery, simple, cozy! The meals are also simple, but how delicious! The services are very deep, piercing, the soul prays easily, trembles. And the icon of the Virgin, when it is lowered! Such grace from her! Of the minuses - very rude monks, one of my friends was kicked out of Confession, because she lives unmarried (she is registered with her husband at the registry office, but her husband is an unbeliever), a monk defiantly, contemptuously and with hatred in his eyes poured water for everyone, many did not go to the Pile a second time, even though they wanted to. One monk, when I wanted to be blessed, generally "caressed" me -"get out of here, brat!". And the boy who was with us in the pilgrimage group was called a murderer by a monk, because ... The boy just held his hands behind his back and stood there. If it weren't for these nuances, then, you can say, I would be in paradise!
