It's a wonderful place. We bought herbal preparations and fresh bread at the church shop. There is a lot of literature. The temple is small. Interesting architecture, different from big cities. There is a spring at the exit from the village, we took water with us. For a church-going person, it is a mandatory point to stop by on the road if you are traveling to Zhirovichi.

We have heard a lot about this monastery and decided to go, the navigator will help us. The temple of the monastery appeared like a fabulous fortress in front of us, its crown with an Orthodox cross seems to float over green fields and village houses, blessing the world and people's lives. We ascend the steps to the temple. He stands on a high hill, "so that the Lord will notice more often.".. And this ascent also mysteriously sets up a prayerful communion with the Lord. This is probably how the ancient pilgrims ascended to Jerusalem. And the river here is Jordan. The faces of icons, the wavering lights of candles and lamps... For some reason, the words of prayers are clearly heard in this small temple, and petitions come from the heart. The singing of the brethren only emphasizes the depth of worship and resonates in the soul: it is necessary to live a wiser and cleaner life... The service is over.
We joined an excursion for a group of pilgrims. Thank you, Raisa Nikolaevna, for your story about the monastery! This is not a memorized text, as it sometimes happens, so tenderly and lovingly they talk about children or friends. We left. A piece of the soul remained in the Great Krakotka. I was on a pilgrimage for the first time. I can't even imagine how impressed I was by this monastery. We had a very interesting tour. It was possible to talk with the priest. We were anointed. There is a shop where you can buy literature, fine teas and honey.
