A terrible flophouse, located in an office building in the attic. This is the 5th floor without an elevator, but in fact an old smelly building smelled of mold, some kind of chemistry and chlorine, with very steep steps, which is why climbing to this 5th floor is equivalent to climbing to the 7-8 floor without an elevator. I am a tourist with many years of great experience. In particular, I have been traveling with booking for many years. I have traveled to many countries, seen many different hotels, hostels and apartments, By nature I am not a demanding person, so the options have always been practically satisfied with me. I have written a lot of good reviews. My family and I have never had any problems anywhere. We are a calm married couple with a lot of travel experience. But this time it's a shock!!!! This is the first time I've seen this. Firstly, the information about the rules of the hotel does not correspond to what is actually happening there. And there's a lot more that doesn't match. Regarding the reviews on <url>: firstly, I doubt it very much-there are a couple of good reviews on the site, especially about the staff. I do not believe that anyone could have written these reviews, because this is fundamentally untrue. The only thing that could be lucky for them is Tison_1973 (review from 10,12,18), who is not happy that the staff was not visible and all communication took place over the phone, but believe Tison, you are really lucky. There are also correct reviews, they were left by a guy from Estonia who spent the night on the stairs, because he came after 23 o'clock and knocked and asked to be let in, the owner forbade people living in the hostel to approach the door, and in the morning called the police on this guy, as well as a review of Belarusians who generally left such an inadequate host in another hotel and he did not return the money to them, a review by a Frenchman who was extremely outraged by the rules that are established in the hostel. Reviews in different languages, but do not be lazy to read them with a Google translator anyway and they will save you from the nightmare that we had to go through. And so on in order. We were settled by a very unfriendly man, not a Pole, apparently a foreigner (a swarthy man), but as he later introduced himself, he was the owner of the hostel. He doesn't really speak any languages. None of them knows Polish, Belarusian, Russian and English. There is some kind of explosive mixture in the conversation and therefore he speaks completely incomprehensibly. Although, as it turned out later, he does not speak Russian and English badly, but only if he needed to say some nasty things or utter threats. Review (from 6.01.19 where the man knocked)-after 23 you will not be allowed in, you are late so you stayed on the street. That's why I knocked. We came in the evening before 23, had tea and went to bed. The morning began with wild screams. This very "master" was shouting very loudly in his mixed vocabulary, it was impossible to make out the words.
As it turned out, he called the police on a man named Victor living in the hostel, which he did - later everything became clear to us. The police seem to come to the hostel every day. The owner calls her because of every little thing. After the police left, my husband went and made himself a coffee, wanted to go to the room with a mug, and then the owner abruptly switched from Victor to my husband and started yelling at him that the dishes could not be taken out of the kitchen, the husband poured coffee into our mug, after which the owner began to yell that in the room We can't do anything, we should all use water and tea in the kitchen. Everything would be fine, but the problem is that there is a reception in the kitchen, and right in the kitchen itself, where this owner sits and looks right into your mouth, listens to your conversations that you have over tea. When I said that, for example, my child and I were embarrassed to talk and drink tea in his presence, to which he said that he was the owner, these were his rules and if we did not follow them, he would throw us out into the street. There are no such rules on the website. Without drinking tea, we went for a walk around the city. In the evening, I went into the kitchen with my mug and made tea for the child in it. My daughter was already afraid of this uncle and did not want to be in his presence. The owner started yelling at me that if I took this tea to the room, he would call the police, which he does all the time with tourists like us, and it wouldn't seem enough to me. And he also promised me to "arrange this" at tomorrow's eviction, that I would feel bad. I poured out the tea and left with an empty mug. The child was shaking all night, I burst into tears, we talked in whispers, went to bed at 21 o'clock. We couldn't wait to get out of this horror. Although the neighbors (big men) were noisy and drank almost until morning, but he did not say a word to them. We gathered in the morning, invited a female maid to take the room from us and check if everything was in order. Because they expected any nastiness from this owner. He may be lying, as I think happened to this Victor, whom he called the police on. In the comments about the person sleeping in the kitchen from 06.01.19 from the booking com, I will explain-the owner himself sleeps in the kitchen. During the day, he sits there with a laptop at his reception, and after 23 hours he goes to bed there in the kitchen. Next to him is his huge dirty, unpleasant-smelling travel bag, right in the kitchen where you eat. And also the owner follows you to the shower and toilet and scolds if you went there not on your soulmate. The hostel is part of the attic, next to the funeral house, from where the coffins are taken away and the parking lot with the hostel at the funeral house is shared.
