A well-organized exhibition complex. Suppliers from different countries are represented at the exhibitions, but mainly from Turkey and China. This means that you can find out about those Turkish manufacturers that few people know about. Of course, there is a cafe on site where you can eat. One disadvantage is that it's difficult to get there. The simplest is a ground-based, so-called metro, that is, a bus in a dedicated lane. It is very difficult to call or find a taxi at the end of the exhibition day.
A good exhibition center with clear navigation and organization. A little far from the center, but cozy at home. We did a great job at the exhibition, I warmly remember the Turkish partners and delicious tea.
A large exhibition complex on the outskirts of Istanbul
When it was first opened, it was really a suburb that was not considered Istanbul, and even the taxi had its own color, burgundy.
Now the city has grown, it is convenient to get to Tuyap by metrobus (the last stop), there are also shuttles from / to the New airport (Havaist), some exhibition organizers place their own service buses.
The organizers are often large agencies, such as Messe Dusseldorf, so exhibitions are almost always crowded, with visitors from different countries.
I visited the Eurasian Packing exhibition from 23-26.10.24, a large square, stands as a museum, live music (pleasant classics), it is convenient to get from the Fatih area (the Marmaray metro line and the transition to the metrobus), cafes to snacks nearby.
An excellent exhibition center is combined with a hotel. The rooms are acceptable. You can get to the exhibition without leaving the hotel. This saves a lot of time and money on travel.
Large pavilions, clear logistics, good organization of registration and entrance, good Internet, friendly staff, the possibility of transportation by various types of transport. Of the cons: expensive catering - I haven't drunk 200 ml of coffee (Americano) for almost 300 rubles for a long time)). Nevertheless, the overall impression is good.
The pavilion is like a pavilion. In principle, as everywhere else. Navigation is clear, there are consultants.
Taxi, as in all of Istanbul, ... mafia. A one-way road. Getting to the exhibition from the hotel is not a problem, but back, no way. Taxis cost a whole bunch. But all for some unknown armor. For always having a mini bus available for the price of a limousine. With a taxi cost of 300 lira, this minibus will bring you for 70 euros.
I had to walk 150 meters away from the exhibition and catch a taxi on my own.
An excellent allocation of space where international fairs are organized. It serves as a location where transportation is easy both by car and by metrobus.
The book fair where we met with our readers for the signing day of our fantastic science fiction book titled "Nesa: Four Civilizations". Everything was so beautiful.
I was just amazed by the exhibition and the center itself, yes, far from the center, but if you live nearby, and there is a place to live, then you can save a lot of time and devote to work!
An ordinary exhibition center.
Of the minuses:
1 - parking is poorly organized, in the evening we spent 30 minutes just to leave it
2 - registration in the Wi-Fi network only by Turkish number - the exhibition positions itself as an international one
The toilets are terrible, the complex is ordinary, they give very little time for the construction of the exhibition, inside during installation the Turks smoke right on the scaffolding, talk a lot and do everything slowly. There are several pavilions, the conduits are not included in the installation. On the contrary, it is cold during the exhibition.
Good, I leave satisfied every time I go to the fair, I like success in general. Especially the book and stationery fair is very nice metrobus, minibus bus everything passes in front of the transportation is very easy
Good location. But taxi drivers should be asked to go by the meter. Otherwise they will cheat. There are few areas for "eating". There is not enough space at lunchtime.
A convenient location is on the metrobus, at least I crossed the bridge there. We were registered on the spot and passed, the staff is responsive, although we do not speak English.
The exhibition center is located extremely far from the city center, which is difficult to reach and has a parking shortage. If they can solve the transportation and parking problems, they can attract more visitors from the city to the fairs organized.
When you leave early, there is very little traffic congestion compared to the exit. In addition, when you arrive early, there is also a more comfortable place in the parking lot.
