BE CAREFUL, DECEPTION IS POSSIBLE AT CHECK-OUT!!!
Briefly, the essence of deception. The owner of the hotel offered to arrange a transfer to the city of Tbilisi for her husband, they discussed the departure time, cost and route. I would like to emphasize that we did not need a special transfer 🙃we knew how and what to leave and how much it costs, but decided to overpay and get there with amenities! The actual route is to pick up from the guest house and take us to the Tbilisi hotel, where we were supposed to stay. As a result, the nephew of the owner, Omari, arrived, who was supposed to drive us, said that he himself would not take us, but would take us to Batumi and there transfer us to another car, which would already take us directly to the place. Omari brought us to another route, said that here is a man and he will take you to Tbilisi to the place. The Batumi - Tbilisi road takes about 5 hours, there is an express, direct flight without stops. Omari put us and our two children on a regular minibus, which was supposed to go about 8 o'clock. We paid and agreed on a direct transfer, but it turned out that this is an ordinary inter-route minibus from Batumi to Tbilisi for 30 lari, with a very, very long route and all stops! Of course, we found out this after we had already driven for some time. The minibus is an old gazelle, without air conditioning, broke down after about an hour of travel, for about another hour and a half we waited for another minibus that could pick up four of us with suitcases, here is the merit of the minibus, he stopped other minibuses and negotiated. It was no longer a question of getting straight to the place, even if we could get to Tbilisi before nightfall. They began to call the owner of the hotel, because it was his relative and he agreed with him about our transfer, well ... they sympathized with us, offered absolutely nothing to compensate or somehow solve the problem. The most annoying thing is that when Omari drove us to another "transfer", the little child became ill in the car, he saw it and they deceived us anyway. the owner of the guest house in this scheme, I do not know, I would like to believe that not, but judging by the fact that no compensation was offered to us, the owner could not return the money for the so-called transfer either, or the owner could not influence his nephew, then the scheme is working. Unfortunately, this moment crossed out all the pleasant impression about the guest house, we spent a lot of nerves and suffered financial losses, and most importantly, this day was specially planned for a walk around Tbilisi, and we lost it because of such a terrible act. The children were most upset, they promised them a lot of things, but in fact nothing of what they had planned turned out ((((( We left at 9.30, we were supposed to arrive in Tbilisi by 15.00, but in fact we arrived at 19.00, tired and disappointed.
Conclusion: when visiting the Tamari guest house, do not use the transfer services of the owner's nephew Omari, there is a convenient direct express from Batumi, and you can get to the city by bus 16, it will be cheaper, faster, and guaranteed. And we have a lesson for the future, stick to the original plan)
R.S. About the guest house: in the guest house, the rooms are simple, but there is everything you need: a refrigerator, a kettle in the room, there is a hairdryer, a balcony (we had a sea view, a very beautiful view). There is a shared kitchen where you can cook or warm up food, a large refrigerator, where you can also leave your food, and a separate room where you can sit down and eat. Dishes, cutlery are enough, cleaning is only on request. There is a room with a separate room with several washing machines, you can wash your clothes. The only thing that was inconvenient in the room was one outlet for the kettle and refrigerator, if it was necessary to boil the kettle in the room, we had to plug it constantly, and since we were with children, we had to do it quite often. In everyday terms, a very good guest house. The sea is 150 meters downhill, back up into a small hill. No frills, but everything you need is there.
