We had a rest in November. I was almost unlucky with the weather and could not swim at sea. The pool at the hotel helped out. The water is warm, the pool is clean, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel grounds are clean, the rooms are clean (room cleaning on a daily basis), bed linen and towels are changed once every 3 days.
There is a sauna on site, you can warm up and combine this pleasure with a swimming pool.
The kitchen is shared, clean, all the dishes are there. It can be fried, steamed and boiled.
The only negative is the blackout throughout Abkhazia. In Gagra, they turned off in the morning and in the evening from 18 to 20:00, there was no light in the rooms, but there was light in the kitchen. While there is no light, you can have dinner or swim in the pool.
You can also book excursions at the reception, which is very convenient.
The water is hot and cold without problems. The sound insulation is good, you can't hear the neighbors.
Good afternoon to all who read this review. 🙋🏻♀️In February, a friend's birthday was celebrated at the Taminik Hotel. 💃🏻A wonderful hotel for relaxation. It is very difficult to find a hotel in Abkhazia that has a heated swimming pool in winter. We were very lucky, in addition to the cleanest, warm pool, the hotel also has a sauna! We steamed heartily! Excellent living conditions. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff are kind, polite, and it's a pleasure to communicate with such people. Are you satisfied with your vacation! We wish you prosperity and lots of good guests. We definitely recommend the hotel and we will not visit it for the last time! Sincerely, Ramita)
A good hotel in the price/quality ratio.
Great pool!
Friendly administrators who will always tell you, sign up for excursions)
The rooms have everything you need: refrigerator, TV, toilet, shower (with soap and shower gel, hairdryer), air conditioning.
A nice summer kitchen with a large refrigerator and everything you need for cooking.
10 minutes walk to the sea.
There are good places to eat and shops nearby.
There is a railway nearby, but trains don't run often, it didn't bother us.
