Tandoor is a cozy cafe in the center of Grodno, preferably with Asian cuisine and a large selection of Ossetian pies, which pleases with a really wide variety of menus. Responsive staff and fast service. We often go there for lunch, and now we are happy to try their set, which unfortunately unjustifiably did not get into the gastro-fest, I think the guys could compete for the first place prize! The set is big and really not only satisfying but also very tasty! The waiting time always corresponds to the one stated by the waiter, or even it is brought faster. Clean, tasty, cozy♥️

Walking along a pedestrian street in Grodno, we decided to find a place where you can eat delicious and not very expensive. We found this cafe and did not regret it.
I really liked the kitchen. We ordered pizza for the children, French fries, pizza for ourselves, suluguni cheese in pita bread, Caesar salad.
The children liked everything too. Azu turned out to be a simple dish, made at home. Here's the basics, I probably wouldn't order it a second time. It seems to be delicious, but not memorable .... The salad is normal. The rest is great. Cheese in pita bread I want more 😍 French fries, most likely made in the oven. Crispy and not greasy. The sauce for it is given in its own preparation and in sufficient quantity, more than in KFC, etc. places. Tea is in a large kettle and is not expensive.
The prices are average.
But here are the WAITERS!.... 😧🤦🤦🤦
Honestly, this is the first time I've seen waiters who aren't interested in visiting. No, the order was accepted, but quickly, without participation, and then they began to booty the hall and lived their lives occasionally glancing at the hall. We tried to call, raise our hand, looked for a long time to meet eyes and call. As a result, it seemed that the guy, our waiter, avoided looking at our table.... Then he tried to squeeze the whole order on the table at once, even though there was nowhere to put it... Dirty plates were not taken away for a long time, they had to be put on an empty table next to it. After 5 minutes, another waiter noticed them...
Honestly and sincerely I am surprised at such service in the historical center of the city, where there are many tourists, besides in the modern world, in the age of marketing, fighting for customers, and it's just strange, Although one girl waiter saved the situation. It is clear that she is more experienced than several others
Do I recommend this place? Definitely YES. It's just delicious, pleasant interior, reasonable prices.
I hope that the incident with the service was a misunderstanding and usually everything is different for them.
If I come to Grodno again, I will definitely go to the Tandoor cafe. Maybe the situation will change))))

We came to Grodno for the holidays and searched for a long time for a place to have dinner. We entered the Tandoor at random. We immediately sat down without waiting. We took Aza, Kharcho and Hashlama - everything was delicious and satisfying. The lavash is good, it's the best for the soup. 0.5 berry tea, a whole large teapot. The tinctures are decent, they also brought them as a gift. We took the Ossetian pie with us, and it was great for breakfast the next morning. The waiters got a little confused with the order, but they brought everything, didn't forget anything, and made a separate bill.

The food is delicious and warm, even though we waited about an hour for one 42 cm pizza. The prices for the dishes are very pleasant to the eye and not overpriced. The food is good and of high quality. It's really delicious. I visited them and ordered a set for the gastrofest.
The organization of the staff is weak. The waiter was a good one, but it is clear that the institution does not pull on its proper status. The opinion is that this is a dining room. One of the dishes was also mistaken in the set, namely, the kebab was without half the ingredients. Fortunately, they offered a free pie as an apology.
The rest of the items in the set, namely pilaf, lentil soup and apple and cinnamon pie, were delicious, but very small.
The fact that the restaurant has buttons for calling the waiter on the tables is a great idea, but you need to guess, as they say, yourself, there is no information that the button calls the waiter, except for the presence of the button.
As a result: not a good place for a simple snack. The interior is ordinary. The music is not the most expressive. Waiters slow down and confuse orders. The bartender is frankly not the most friendly.

Kharcho soup is not super spicy, but pleasantly spicy. There are no complaints here.
A pie with mushrooms and cheese is OK, but in one place, where there was a thick wall, the dough was not baked.
I couldn't finish the tarragon lemonade... Nasty sweet water, no gas... Absolutely disgusting. No natural ingredients for you...

It's a terrible place. They came and asked how long to wait. They said 20-25 minutes. After 40 minutes of waiting, they clarified their readiness. They said 10 minutes. It was too long for us, they asked for the tea bill. The 2nd waiter comes up and says the salad will be ready in 2 minutes, but they haven't even started cooking the fish. Nice place in the very center.
The waiting time for pies was 40 minutes during dinner, soups and hot for 20 minutes.

Then, after 25 minutes, a couple came for us, who said that we had booked for 2 people and they were being seated in the common room, although no one left after our arrival (let me remind you that we are sitting at the entrance and toilet and booked a place 2 weeks in advance). Well, then the place is interesting, secluded. But people are constantly running past you in the narrow corridor where we are sitting, going to the toilet. But even this is nothing, but it turns out they also have some kind of warehouse there and from there they carry yakloki in a bag, potatoes, beer in kegs every 5 minutes. The food is not bad, well, not good. The meat in the pilaf is burnt, the barbecue is burnt, the mulled wine is cold, the apple pie is burnt. I offered my wife to leave in the beginning, only because of her request I stayed. In general, the whole impression is spoiled, it's good that you didn't get to the gastrofest, you shouldn't spoil such a great event with your institution. And I will answer your answer in advance about the fact that I have all reviews with 1 star, I would put 0, but there is no such possibility, and I put reviews only in places where I do not recommend others. And I'll write here so that you can see. Answer the fact of the above, and not the nonsense that you are answering. Read the reviews on Google.

We have been familiar with this institution for a long time, since the time when they "huddled" on Lenin. By my standards, the dishes of their cuisine are really delicious and, importantly, accessible to the average man in the street. A good "grandmother's" interior is stylized with Ossetian motifs, which adds comfort to the establishment. The waiters may not be professionals, but they are quite good-natured and friendly people! Special thanks to the cook, for how many years we have ordered pies and other dishes here - it is always very tasty.
I also want to add that you should not forget that this is a cafe for a wide range of hungry people)), and not an Ossetian gourmet restaurant. First of all, it seems to me, they want to feed you at home here, and not surprise you with the wonders of the interior and service. I wish the whole team further development and prosperity.

The place is wonderful. Ossetian pie is similar to pastries from childhood, when the guys and I crawled in the sandbox and made buns out of sand, the taste is about the same, we took a chocolate cake, it was the best thing on the menu. The potatoes in the pie taste like my shower gel when a drop of shampoo gets on your lips and you accidentally swallow it. I give one star for the cake, and the second for the excellent approach to the organization of recreation. It was very exciting to look for a brisket in a pie. By the way, they never found it.

The cafe is worth visiting to explore Caucasian cuisine and taste unusual dishes, for example, tuna kebabs with zucchini in creamy garlic sauce. The decor is strange, like a grandmother's. I didn't like the Ossetian meat pie, because there were too many greens. After waiting 15 minutes for the waiter to place an order, our patience ran out. I absolutely did not want to be in this institution anymore. We got up and left. I think that no one understood from the employees what we came for and what we wanted. We don't set foot in this place anymore. With their attitude towards visitors, they won't last long.
