The theater was founded in 1981 by Rezo Gabriadze and is located in the Old Town. Interestingly, although this is a new model, but all the bricks from which the tower was created are ancient, they are 200-300 years old. And another interesting thing that can be seen at the bottom of the tower is a tiny clock - the smallest street clock in Tbilisi (smaller than our wristwatches). We couldn't buy tickets, so we were happy to walk next to the theater.
21.10 we were on 'Alfred and Violetta'.
Thank you so much for such performances - brilliant directing!
To all who are dedicated from the 90s .....
Continue in the same spirit - your performances make you feel strongly, cry, and think about NOT MAKING mistakes AGAIN that were made during the collapse of the mighty UNION!

My favorite place. The performances are all very good. I advise everyone to take a look. I really liked Ramon's performance.
Atmospheric. You think you're looking at a building from at least the 17th century, and this is a modern creation))). I want to stay in this place and breathe that air.
Gabriadze is a genius..
His performances are as simple as anything brilliant, but they touch the most secret corners of the soul
It's good that this theater exists
As the author's voice said, God bless the man who stuffed the newspapers into the champagne!
May he bless everyone who took part in the creation of the theater and takes part in its life, musical directors, performers, puppeteers, animators, production designers, administrators, cleaners and all those whom I still cannot name due to my ignorance.
For me, the chance opportunity to witness your performance has become a conversation with God (may all believers forgive me, I don't want to offend anyone).
You touch the most delicate strings in the human soul, forcing them to sing with renewed vigor and kindle the flame of faith in people.
Prosperity and endless inspiration to you!
There are so many good people around.
A wonderful theater! A miracle of modernity. Good performances. Bravo!

The legendary theater in Tbilisi. The famous facade near which there are almost always a lot of tourists taking pictures. Tickets are sold out for months in advance, but dealers near the theater can find a ticket for the same day.
I did not have a chance to visit the theater. But the building was viewed from all sides from the outside! It is very interesting in its architecture. There is a very cozy restaurant at the theater with delicious food, excellent wine and pleasant prices. I recommend coming in. Unlike some Spatula establishments designed for a crowd of tourists, they really care about the quality of the dishes.
I saw the theater, I didn't get into the repertoire.

The theater is obligatory for everyone, theater-goers and not only. A unique phenomenon in the world of art and culture. You can't see this anywhere else! Love from the first second! Take napkins to the performance. You'll have to cry, even if you're a flint.
They tried to buy tickets online, they were no longer available, they came on the day of the production, at 11 o'clock they start selling additional tickets, they managed to buy 2 tickets for themselves. We attended the production of "autumn of my spring", an excellent, sincere production, where humor and sadness are present
A very nice, atmospheric theater, both inside and out. You can never tell that this is a new model. There is a taste in everything, starting with the hanger and ending with the bows of the artists
