The surroundings of the tower are surrounded by a very beautiful park, which is worth a visit. I especially recommend going down the trail, following the signs, to enjoy the stunning views both day and night. Nevertheless, it is impossible not to notice that the tower, although impressive in its scale, looks rusty and abandoned. Such a huge structure with a potentially magnificent observation deck could become one of the main tourist attractions of Tbilisi if it were brought to mind and opened to tourists.

The tower is located on Mtatsminda Mountain (which is climbed by a funicular) and it towers over the whole city. In the evening, the tower is brightly illuminated. It is a pity that there is no observation deck on the tower itself.
