One of the main attractions of the park is the aquarium, where you can see a variety of marine and freshwater fauna. Colorful fish, starfish and other marine life attract the attention of both adults and children.
Traveling to different cities, we definitely go to the zoo. The entrance to Tbilisi costs 4 lari (150 rubles). It is not very big, in an hour and a half you can safely walk around it and take pictures. It was hot outside, and many animals escaped with water and shade. I liked elephant, rhinoceros, camel, yaks, bright parrots, fawns and all the rest))) Our Creator created animals to make us happy, because it's so interesting to watch them! "God created wild animals according to their genera, cattle and all other creatures according to their genera. And God saw that it was good." (Genesis 1:25).
Thank you to the staff of the Tbilisi Zoo for their hard work and the opportunity to look at rare and diverse animals. Be sure to visit the zoo to support him financially and take a walk.
Of the advantages, only the price is 4 lari entrance to the zoo and another 2 lari to look at fish and reptiles. The animals run from their enclosures to the neighboring ones. Everything is not cleaned, fences are not safe, animals are fed with other live or dead animals right in front of the children. They just throw a rabbit into the aviary and watch as his head is now torn off… I understand everything, but a zoo is not a place for a broken child's psyche. The rides are all old, rusty, the Ferris wheel seems to be worth 40 years ... dirt and stink everywhere ... in general, I do not advise you to waste your time on this location
I was not impressed. It seems like it's big, but it's not interesting. There are practically no signs of what kind of animal is on the cages or aviaries anywhere. Guess for yourself. I liked the reptiles.
A magnificent zoo, many animals, they look happy, elephants and a hippopotamus were especially impressed, a terrarium - my respects, I have never seen so many different snakes in my life
I learned about the Tbilisi State Zoo on madloba.info and I immediately wanted to go there! I have already heard that this is one of the most interesting and exotic parks in Georgia, but now I have learned more details. Up to 1,500 animals of 200 species, including threatened species, live here. It's just amazing!
I am glad that in the zoo you can observe not only the local fauna, but also such exotic animals as white lions, rhinos and elephants. In addition, there is a diverse collection of birds and reptiles, including venomous snakes. The zoo offers different types of tickets with different prices, and I'm already planning my trip there.
Thank you madloba.info for detailed information about the Tbilisi State Zoo! I am really looking forward to this visit!
Briefly about the main thing for single Machos in the prime of life according to Carlson:
"... the terrarium is my respect, I have never seen so many different snakes in my life"!
The main thing is short:
"How do you know if a zoo is good or not?
Just look into the eyes of animals"!
Appalling conditions for animals, a hippo without access to a pond, elephants going crazy in a cramped enclosure, everyone drowning in their shit. Traditionally broken asphalt, holes in the asphalt are covered with planks, crumbling buildings
The good old Tbilisi Zoo. But there are few animals. They say they are building a new one based on this.

Terrible animal husbandry
They just live in cages (some even in unacceptably small ones for their size) , there is no water , everything is dirty , they do not understand what they eat .It's time to close the zoo , repair it and give the animals proper care, and not just sell the entrance to Soviet-era children's attractions from 4-5 lars !
It's an old zoo, the animals are well looked after. It seems like they are going to move it to a new place, but so far everything is the same. Admission is free for children under 3 years old. Inside, an additional fee will be charged for the pavilion with reptiles and turtles. I strongly advise you to look there! There are a lot of old attractions on the territory, for the youngest.
I liked it, of course it doesn't take much to restore it, but the animals are cute creatures, the children were generally happy to feed the animals with pleasure :))

Although I don't like zoos and similar establishments, but here it feels like animals really have a place to walk. I really liked the deer with funny ears (I forgot the name)
It seems that this zoo is living out its time, after the tragedy of 2015, when there was a flood and many animals died, it was decided to build a new one in another place. I hope that when we come to Tbilisi next time, a new modern zoo will be launched, which we will be happy to visit.
In cloudy weather, it is better not to visit, and so, in a good way, serious reconstruction is required, everything looks like the scenery in a horror movie, but the animals are well-groomed and fed, the staff has a huge respect!
Given the potential of Georgia and Tbilisi in particular, it would be possible to invest money and equip the territory for animals and tourists. It's sad to look at the garbage and fallen fences.
It is sad compared to the Moscow zoo and very cheerful compared to the regional zoos of the Russian Federation. Yes, there are few animals (taxi drivers say that some of the animals were taken to the new zoo near the Tbilisi sea), but everyone looks well-groomed. The visit costs 4 GEL
How to understand a good zoo or not? Just look into the eyes of the animals. Here everyone has sadness and a period, the camel looks at the attraction touts, the elephant is in panic and does not understand, and the monkey looks with doubt and caution into the evolutionary future
A wonderful place, for a penny! (Entrance is only 2 lari adult and 1 lari child) Elephants, rhinoceros, lions, tigers and many other animals. Large aviaries, clean. There are attractions, but of course they would have been worth replacing, but the child went to see the animals and did not even pay attention to the attractions. But it must be borne in mind that the zoo has survived a great flood, it can be said to be restored from scratch
I really liked the zoo, although there were fewer animals there after the flood, but it is still worth a visit to all guests of the city. Look at elephants, zebras, donkeys and rhinoceroses in one law, see camels, deer, antelopes and eagles.
once a great zoo with a rich history, which is now still recovering from the terrible flood of 2015.
Despite this, a wide variety of different animals has been preserved.
a great place for a leisurely 2-3 hour walk and observation of the inhabitants.
It is small, but there is someone to look at, I really liked the terrarium. Entrance is 2 lari for adults, there are 2 more lari in the terrarium.
We did not regret that we reached it.
