It's an amazing place, I've only seen it in palaces in Rajasthan in India. Entrance is 12 lari for tourists. There is an excursion in English (30 lari sightseeing, 50 extended), and in Georgian.
The entrance to the Museum is through the main entrance to the Academy, on the 2nd floor and to the left after the stairs.
I do not recommend it! It should not be called a "museum" and even more so it should cost 12 GEL (as of April 2024 it is about 420 rubles)! There are 4 small halls on one floor. The main emphasis is on ceilings and walls-either painted or made of glass. In the last hall there is an exhibition, as I understand it, of students. Well, the whole exhibition is modern - both the painting and the stucco walls are new. This whole "museum" can be easily bypassed in 10-15 minutes
