A standard 3-star hotel. I really liked the location - in principle, not far from the center, there is a large shopping center nearby, a round-the-clock minimarket at the gas station, and, as we were told after leaving the hotel))), Ikea is also somewhere nearby (for those who go to Astana for shopping).
The room is clean enough, the bed is comfortable, at the end of September the heating was not turned on yet, but we were warm (there were girls in the group who complained about the cold, but the administrators could not help with anything other than turning on the air conditioner for the "sun").
Wi-Fi is working. There are cafes and breakfasts /lunches, the portions are large, the quality is at the level of the factory canteen.
The advantage was a great view from the window of the center and Bayterek (the tower is the symbol of Astana).
Nowadays, many people have to apply for a visa through Kazakhstan, in particular, Astana, where the embassies of many countries, including the USA, are located. If you are going to Astana for a visa and do not know where to stay, then the Tengri hotel is exactly what you need. Not far from the US Embassy, 1-2 bus stops, or you can walk, but it's much cheaper than staying in a hotel right next to the embassy itself. Accommodation in Tengri is safe, very cozy, the attitude of the hotel staff is very friendly, the price includes a snack bar, there is a shopping center nearby. I recommend the Tengri Hotel to anyone who is planning a trip to Astana.
The price-location ratio is good. There are many shops within walking distance. You will have to walk a couple of kilometers to the main attractions or take a taxi ride. The room was stuffy. The battery goes into "hell" mode. You open the window and oak in 5 minutes. You can open the window a little, but then it howls like in a horror movie (micro-stroke mode, oh, micro-ventilation). The month of March is -10 degrees outside the window. The room is for those who are nostalgic for the times of the USSR. But in general, if you are not going for the sake of the hotel, but on business or to walk around Astana, then the choice is good as a place to stay overnight.
Good afternoon. I'm from Yekaterinburg. We celebrated the new year in this hotel. We just got home. Thank you so much for the holiday. To all the staff and management for their hospitality. The tables were full of treats. The host was lighting us up. I really liked your place. Thanks everyone.
A three-star hotel. In general, I didn't expect anything more. There was no purpose to spend time in the room. The hotel was chosen not by me, but by the company that organized the tour.
The room is generally clean. You need to wait for hot water, skip it. I was surprised by the lack of an outlet in the bathroom. Very weak wi-fi. The food is delicious, we don't take porridge from breakfast into account, it was like water. For an overnight stay, the hotel as a whole can be considered. We settled in quickly.
We had a trip to Astana in 2023, in June. We stayed at the Tengri Hotel. A great hotel. We were greeted very warmly and settled quickly. The room was clean, the view from the window was great, but the window was dirty). But this did not prevent us from enjoying the beauty of Astana. We were fed very well, the girls are attentive and positive). Thank you.
Tengri Hotel! The room has air conditioning, Refrigerator, wardrobe, table, bedside table, safe, three separate beds, clean white towels, disposable slippers, combined toilet with shower,Wi-Fi for free, there is a TV!!!!
There is only a good parking space....You have to park nearby in houses
And also, I would like to have a kettle and dishes in each room!!!
The rooms are spacious and clean, the furniture is not the newest and there is not much of it, I checked into a double room, there was a wardrobe, a table, a chair, a large bed, a couple of bedside tables and half a room of free space. It's quite good for the money. The breakfasts are simple. The Internet is good. The staff is polite and attentive. They can give you a kettle in the room, but it's more interesting with cups, they are not in the room, but I asked at the bar on the ground floor. Nearby there are banks, supermarkets, a small shopping center within walking distance.
We were here with a bus tour, of course we saw that the hotel has 3 stars, but we did not expect such a service. Let's take it in order, we checked in quickly, but when we entered the room, we gasped, the stench was incredible, the smell of alcohol with mustiness, I can't even describe it, we turned to the reception, they told us alas there are no other rooms, but we can bring a freshener, seriously? By the way, it wasn't even brought in for 2 days while we were there.Bugs lived in the room besides us.
There is no water cooler in the entire hotel. We would have been happy to buy water, but we did not have time to change the money, as a result, no one even wanted to solve this issue, everyone turned away at the reception and pretended not to hear.
The dining room is a separate entertainment, the food looks like it was put in a plate that you didn't eat enough yesterday, sugar is probably deficient in general, you need to beg for it in the kitchen, and after you poured yourself a spoonful of sugar, the plate is hidden, the plate is not a sugar bowl.
If you were traveling on your own in Kazakhstan, and not on a tour, you would never have chosen this hotel!!!!
A great hotel, the girls are all friendly, responsive, very clean, comfortable, pleasant, affordable, the rooms are excellent,Wi-Fi works perfectly, you can order food and sit in the bar, the water is both cold and hot, there are no complaints, I recommend 100 percent, many thanks to the manager and the team
There were three days. The hotel is price quality. They didn't understand what they had with their breakfasts. Then the second floor, then the lobby bar. But normal. We weren't hungry. In principle, there are no inconveniences. The Internet is weak. But we didn't come for him. Everything is normal. I recommend it!
A 4-star hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable, the view from the window is super, but the furniture is old, the shower door is broken in the sartire. The food is delicious, but not all of it. The staff is very kind and positive, they will help and tell you.
There are disadvantages, but it's all good!!
3 stars for sure. The hotel is big, but the rooms are old, the beds are old, the toilet is leaking water from under the shower.... And it's cold in the toilet : ( the food is good! Wi-Fi is unstable. A kettle can be requested at the reception. There is a shopping center nearby, very convenient, and there is also a club nearby))
The room is clean enough. Everything is old, but the hotel is budget-friendly
The food is delicious. There is no kettle in the room, I asked for it. The unit is cool, but there is a heater, it was warmed up quickly. We liked it. The pitchfork from the windows was on bayterek
We really liked it. It is very well located. There is a shopping mall and many cafes nearby. The service is on the level. On the day of arrival, I asked for additional pillows, since I sleep half-sitting; 2 extra were immediately brought. The room is clean, the bed is snow-white. I recommend.
The rooms are very nice. Everything is clean, the staff is polite. I'm a little disappointed about the food, I thought it would be national cuisine, but now everyone is focusing on European cuisine. And so everything is wonderful!
The rooms are clean, there is a refrigerator, a shower, there is also a hairdryer in the room, the bed is comfortable enough. It's quite nice to be here.
I haven't been to breakfast, I can't comment on it.
I consider the location convenient, there is a small shop next to the hotel, in case something is urgently needed, there is also a shopping center in 10m walking distance where you can buy thoroughly according to your needs, at the time of my stay, there was no cafe or restaurant nearby, the only one in the neighborhood was closed for repairs.
The rooms are packed. The furniture is old. There are 2 single mattresses on the double bed. It's really cool to wake up at night between them.... There is nothing in the room except a glass. No water, no kettle, no spoons, nothing. There is also no cooler on the floor. Audibility - you can hear everything that happens in the entire hotel. The maids are cleaning very loudly - it's all very audible too. The rooms are not cleaned. They just change the towels every 2 days - that's all the cleaning. I do not recommend it.
The hotel is large, with many floors. Good-quality furniture. There are all slippers in the room. The TV didn't show well, the network was constantly flying off, and I didn't catch many channels in total. But the food was very tasty, and in large portions. Did you like the hotel
Hello! Stayed in early October for five nights. Single room on the 9th floor with breakfast. Personally, I really liked everything. Everything you need is there, clean. Everything was functioning normally. Hot water did not come immediately, but a couple of minutes and you can take a shower. Cleaning was offered every day. The breakfast is excellent, plentiful. The staff is very friendly. I chose the location of the hotel not far from the embassy, where I came. 20 minutes on foot. In general, I liked everything. I was personally satisfied with everything. I recommend it to everyone for both short and long stops. Good luck!
The hotel is not bad for its price tag, the staff would be more friendly and would kill bedbugs and it would be great, I was there in 2022, maybe it is no longer relevant
Nice, clean hotel. Of course, not very modern furniture, but it doesn't matter, the bed is comfortable, TV with all central Russian channels, air conditioning. If you come here for an American visa, it is very convenient. A 25-minute walk to the embassy is not a fast walk or 3 bus stops. By the way, it is also very convenient to travel from the airport by two buses) I recommend it!)
It's a good hotel, but there are minor flaws. The shower is leaking, the shower door won't close, and there's dirt under the bed. As a whole, it's clean, cozy and the food is delicious.
The rooms are not tidy, torn wallpaper, dusty and dirty window sills, dusty carpet. There is no drinking water, neither in the rooms nor on the floors, they are sent to buy at the nearest store.
The staff is polite and attentive.
The breakfasts are hearty, but they don't look appetizing, they piled an omelet, cheese and sausage on a plate. For lunch two days in a row - rice. There are no napkins or condiments on the tables...
I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The impression was very good. The hotel is very conveniently located, close to all attractions, close to the US Embassy, it was important to me, the rooms are clean and spacious, especially for one, cleaning every day. Towels, hair dryer and toiletries are all there. I liked the breakfasts. Special thanks to the staff. I wish you development and prosperity.
The hotel is conveniently located. I got from the airport by public transport: first, 10 buses to the House of Ministries stop (20 stops), then I changed to 30 buses, 3 more stops to Astana Mall.
The bus stop is nearby, then I also took buses around the area. There is a Halyk bank in Astana Mall where you can change money at a good rate. The room is spacious, everything you need is there. The staff was very helpful, they helped with advice and helped solve a personal problem. The breakfast is modest, but there is nothing to compare it with, perhaps in Kazakhstan it is common for hotels of this level. In any case, I recommend it.
An excellent hotel. Conveniently located. There is absolutely everything in the room: refrigerator, TV, Internet, air conditioning, shower. It's all clear. In Finland, for 60 euros, there are facilities in the corridor and a room like a closet. In Russia, there is usually dirt in the room. To be honest, I did not expect such high quality. And Great staff. I recommend it to everyone.
Cozy, inexpensive, almost in the center of the city, if I go again, I will most likely stay there) the lovely owners of the cafe downstairs will always feed you if you don't come on time
Convenient location, comfortable bed, relatively clean, excellent air conditioning and excellent Wi-Fi in the rooms. And what else is needed on short trips?) About breakfast - a hat, of course, but still not bad. So I would go back to this hotel. A normal hotel is a strong middle class. :)
We lived in a room on the 9th floor from June 21 to 22, 2024. We came with a tour group. The curtains are burned through the hole, thanks for the fresh bedding. There is no drinking water in the room at all: there are no bottles, no kettle, no cooler on the floors. Run to the store. The food in the dining room is not tasty, although I am not picky. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. I wouldn't go there again.
wifi talk for the holidays,,,no hot water was found, prices seemed to be at the Hilton,,current staff is good,,the rest of the thriller was left alive.......
The hotel is good for 3 stars.the standard room is clean, cleaning every day, the room is warm, there is a refrigerator with a TV.The staff is excellent, the breakfast is normal.the location is almost in the center.I recommend.
I stayed at the hotel for 4 days, personally, for that price, almost everything was fine with me. Yes, the furniture is ancient, but solid, the mattress is comfortable, the pastel is good. Wallpaper, tiles and plumbing.appliances are tired and old, but everything works, there are not enough shelves for accessories in the shower cabin, sockets are more or less normally located. I was confused by the room configuration...there is no elementary spoon for shoes, brushes...there are no cutlery, kettle, bottle opener, drinking water, not even a cooler in the hallway, only two clothes hangers in the closet, the refrigerator was noisy, I turned it off. I am a smoker with a lot of experience, of course I was pleased with the balcony on the floor where smoking is allowed (even 2, but the trash can is only on one). The location is really convenient, there is a cute shop with groceries and draft beer nearby, for pork lovers, there are Belarusian sausages)) Across the street there is a coffee module and a barbecue, very inspired by the Napoleon barbecue. In general, for that moderate fee, it's not bad at all. I got to the places I needed by taxi without any problems, for a very affordable fee, it is much more profitable than overpaying for "closer". The wish to the hotel is to breathe in a little bit of service without inflection in price))) P/S I can't rate breakfast, because I don't eat in the morning))
In room 4108,it blows from the window, the door does not close in the shower stall, the water sprayer itself is broken, asked to extend the stay in the room until 20:00, asked for 12,000 tenge, the accommodation itself cost 18,000 tenge, from + near the shopping complex,
The room is clean, there is a refrigerator, split, TV. The bathroom is normal, it takes a long time to wait for hot water, but it's hot outside, so it's nice to wash at room temperature. Shampoos, gels, toothbrush and toothpaste, slippers, linen are regularly updated. There is no drinking water, only to buy at the store. The breakfasts are so-so- eggs or omelette, two slices of tomato, cucumber, cheese, cheap sausages. But there is also porridge, a pancake or bread with butter, coffee with milk. It is located well for those who go to the US Embassy and in general. St. Uspensky Cathedral is nearby. Next to the Astana Mall there is a huge grocery center with the sale of ready-made food, you can also warm up tables in the microwave there to sit and eat. For several days there was a check-in of children from the camp for an excursion - it was very noisy, but there was nothing to be done
The staff is very helpful and friendly. Clear. The TV was not working in the room, they could not fix it (they offered another room). To take a shower, you need to run hot water for 15-20 minutes. The safe is in semi-working condition, only 4 digits are working.
In general, the room is normal .there is a TV, a refrigerator..but there is no hot water..I had to take a cold shower..and there is no drinking water anywhere, not even in the bar..the food in the dining room is canteen, ordinary.I would like something national. One plus was that they were given drinking water upon request.
I stayed in a 2-bed room. There are 2 sets of towels, shower gels and shampoos, dental kits. A kettle is provided on request. I paid for the room with breakfast. It is better to go to breakfast early so that it is hot. Breakfast is portioned (porridge, scrambled eggs). I took off one star for the curtains, which do not cover the windows well. The wind is whistling through the windows. Well, it would not hurt to update the repair. The hotel staff is very friendly and friendly.
I got into the hotel by accident. The flight was delayed for a day. I was pleasantly surprised by the calmness of the employee at the reception. The rooms are good. Well-cooked food. Fast internet. The only drawback is a muddy picture on the TV. There are problems with the antenna. Next time I will choose this hotel when I arrive in Astana
The rooms are clean, the staff is polite. The shower was running in the room, at the junction of the watering can and hose. The restaurant prepares for the assessment "it is possible to eat"
The hotel is good. The staff is friendly. The room was cleaned three times in six days, the linen was changed. Water and hygiene items were constantly brought. We were in November, the room was warm. At the request, they settled in early and were allowed to leave later. The Internet in the room freezes a little, in the lobby is normal. Breakfast was not ordered. The embassy is a 25-minute walk away. Everything is within walking distance, it's convenient.
A star for the location, a star for breakfast (not a buffet, but delicious and you can eat), a star for cleanliness.
The furniture is old, the wind howled through the windows (very loudly), wait for hot water for 3-5 minutes, and there is not even a water cooler on the floor... Otherwise fine.
The rooms are terrible, the walls are made of drywall, the shower cabin is clogged, even calling a plumber did not help. We can say thank you to the hostess of the cafe Naila, everything is delicious and customer-oriented.
Excellent price/quality ratio.
I was on a business trip. The room for one is medium in size, but everything is convenient and functional. The repair is normal, but there is a kotsky. On furniture, tiles. The photos on the site match. I recommend it to rational travelers.
It's not a hotel, it's a flophouse. We checked in at 7 am, only from the plane, from the Russian Federation, there is no drinking water in the room, on the floor too, we asked for a bottle of water, because we didn't even have time to exchange currency. They refused. We waited until the dining room opens (where breakfast is served, by the look of what we didn't eat at another hotel on the buffet, cold, cold, in general, tin), asked for water, they poured us a decanter, they weren't allowed to take it to the room. Then in the evening, after working, we went to the store, bought ice cream in a plastic cup, returned to the "hotel", of course there are no spoons in the room, asked the administrator for spoons from the bar-they refused. They said there was no access to the bar. Then they called someone, they also said-no spoons. We went up to the room, we call the bar, they say, give me spoons, eat ice cream-refusal. We say, we'll go down right now, we'll eat with you, the answer is: "we need to coordinate"! We ask "with whom?" "With the authorities," they answer. We were completely shocked. I travel a lot on business trips and travel, but this is the first time I see such an attitude. I do not recommend this hut to anyone. They told their colleagues from Petropavlovsk where they were staying, they laughed for a long time, saying that cockroaches used to walk there in droves. In general, horror! The management of this place of stay, pay attention to what is going on with you.
