My family and I had a great rest at Terrassa Park. We really liked the polite and attentive staff. A calm and quiet atmosphere for a family holiday. Everything is clean and beautiful, thought out to the smallest detail. Be sure to visit the SPA. I recommend it to those who want to relax for body and soul.

Coming 200 km from Astana and swimming in a paddling pool is one disappointment.

A great place for a family vacation. A huge territory, its own clean beach, swimming pools, playgrounds and sports grounds. The rooms are clean, everything is there. The kitchen is awesome (although a little expensive). The staff is polite. In general, everything is great, I recommend it!
The only drawback is that you can't watch sports broadcasts, Wi-Fi is weak, and there are no sports channels.

A dirty and bumpy road also spoils the impression, so you have to drive or walk along it several times a day. There are very interesting paths in the forest with sea buckthorn and other berries, but the exit to the lake is not very clean, with some ruins. The lake itself seemed less suitable for swimming than Borovoe.

Among the advantages is a well-groomed territory, many equipped places for relaxation. The whole hotel is cleaned in the morning. That's just the room has dust on all surfaces, which has not been wiped for a long time, although the room is cleaned daily. The san node provides lump soap, but there is no soap dish for it. There is nowhere to hang a hand towel. The shower room is dirty and covered with mold.
The restaurant was very surprised by the soup with meatballs, where there was broth and meat balls and nothing else. They ordered it for the child, but he did not eat this soup. The children's menu is monotonous, pasta and potatoes.
Lunch and dinner were always ordered several hours in advance. But I still had to wait.
The pool is cold inside. Hats that are asked to be worn, in fact, no one has worn. The Jacuzzi with warm water is constantly packed with adults and children. It was not possible to evaluate the pool from the outside, because the weather was cold and rainy.
The playground for children did not work. No leisure was organized, the children were bored. Although it was said about the entertainment program from Thu to Sat. The staff is polite, attentive except for the girl at the reception. This is a separate story, how we were not allowed into the hotel at 2 a.m. with young children, saying that our reservation was not there. Although everything was agreed and booked a month in advance. And the late arrival included, we arrived by train, the train arrives at 00.45.
Then this girl couldn't give us the keys. I had to go down to her 3 times. I sent it to the wrong floor for the first time, then the room turned out to be the wrong one that we booked, then the keys to the room did not fit. So we wandered between the floors with sleepy children and suitcases. At the same time, she never apologized. There was also no declared safe in our room, allegedly it was broken by previous guests, but what do we have to do with it?
The rest did not start pleasantly. The impression of the hotel was ruined. Everything is beautiful on Instagram, in fact there are a lot of joints and negative reviews are deleted. I wrote about our case when checking in, and they just deleted the comment. Many vacationers were not happy. There is no desire to return here again

We came to Borovoye with our family for the first time. This place was chosen according to the recommendations of friends and they did not regret it. I liked the sensitive and caring staff. The room was clean. There is a good playground and a game room where the child will always be looked after and games will be offered. There is a swimming pool and a SPA. Great restaurant. The food is at a good level. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth it, and let it stay that way. The quality of the kitchen should be at its best, otherwise there is no point in going so far and eating tasteless. The breakfast is good, there is a choice. I was pleased with the availability of freshly brewed coffee, which is more important for me personally than breakfast. Very close to the forest and the protected area. I didn't like the audibility in the rooms, although maybe for someone it's not a minus. Overall, I had a pleasant and warm impression. The rest was a success. Thank you Terrassa Park!

Excellent service (as if I am not in Kazakhstan), a pleasant restaurant, a good swimming pool (there is a little lack of sauna in it). The renovation of the rooms and the condition of the hotel are 9 out of 10. The territory is tastefully arranged, there are recreation areas (gazebos, hammocks, armchairs), there are paths through a small forest, there is a small river. There is a good hiking route to the mountains right from the hotel (for this you need to exit the territory through a gate on the side from which the river flows) - there you will find birch groves, coniferous forest and hills. Maybe I was lucky, but the hotel's visitors were also like a match - no noisy companies. The guards also do not sit idle, they regularly patrol the territory. Silence, tranquility, safety, Relaxation. Thanks to the Terrace for a pleasant stay. Now this is our choice in Borovoye. P.S.
Instant coffee for breakfast. There is also supposedly a custard - but it is weaker than tea. Perhaps this was the only drawback for the entire vacation.

Well, I have been staying at this hotel every year since 2017, so my review will be as objective as possible. Over the past 5 years, a lot of interesting things have been added: a swimming pool on the street, buildings on the territory, the beach has been improved. However, there are many disadvantages: 1) the pool on the street constantly stinks of urine, probably you need to change the water more often; 2) the last time they settled on the top floor, where no water was collected in the toilet, just stupidly does not pump, they informed the reception, so no one came to repair. How cool is it for you in a triple room, where three adults can't just go pooping for a few days. 3) gazebos on the territory have always been free a priori, whoever took the first one sits in it. Last time, the girl from the reception said that some guests had booked a specific gazebo (she obviously took money from them), although she explains that the gazebos are available to everyone. A strange situation and a ridiculous explanation. In general, we occupied the gazebo ourselves, but an unpleasant aftertaste remained. 4) a barbecue , for which they charge 5,000 tenge for use. There is simply no pipe in it from which smoke would come out. 5) the rooms in the department (not all) require renovation (repair). 6) the breakfasts are monotonous, the duck is constantly not cooked hard 7) the road to the hotel is terrible 8) there is often nowhere to park. 9) by the way, there should be a lifeguard in the pools, but there is none.
In general, after my last visit in the summer of 2020, my five-year visit to this hotel has ended, I do not plan to return here. In 2021, we rested at the Baitas hotel - much better than the Terrace.
To sum up, I can say decide for yourself, in general, the hotel makes a good impression, especially for those who come for the first time. However, when you come to the same place from year to year, and you see how the service deteriorates, the room stock becomes outdated and no one does anything about it, as your request for a broken toilet is ignored, the desire to come here again disappears completely.

The rooms are not worth the money, the repairs are weak, the water flows poorly, the toilet flushes poorly, the conditions are 3 days old.
The kitchen is for an amateur, not particularly tasty.
Staff: the woman in the kitchen (I don't know the position) is a boorish woman, no ethics for vacationers, yells and commands like at a bazaar. The waiters are sleepy, they say I'll bring it now and disappear, sometimes they can't stand what you order at all.
Admins at the reception would also do well to take courses of politeness and tact.
The SPA is a separate topic, except for the Jacuzzi, and the one in which the water hardly changes, everything else sucks. The steam room does not heat, the hammam is closed, the shower pours water with its last breath.
And so nature and beauty, the only thing that pleased.

One thing is clear, the prices do not match.
