A cheese restaurant for a special occasion, next to the main attraction of the city - the Heydar Aliyev Center.
⚠️ High price tag
The location of the restaurant and its interior indicate the status of the restaurant. The dishes themselves are delicious, but they did not cause admiration. Surprisingly, there is no cheese soup in the cheese restaurant, but the two available ones turned out to be very tasty. Actually, the soups were the most interesting.
If you decide to go, book a table in advance. There may be no available seats due to the large booking window. We didn't book and got a seat right at the entrance, which is strange considering the almost empty hall.
Spinach soup with strachatella is a great combination of spinach and strachatella. The soup is sweet because of the combination of flavors, but very interesting.
Pumpkin soup with gorgonzola - gorgonzola pleasantly complements the very base of the soup. Unusual and delicious.
Ravioli with truffle and gorgonzola – classic ravioli, al dente. They are served with pine nuts, although this is not indicated on the menu, and the waiter does not warn about the presence of nuts in the dish.
– Risotto with spinach and seafood - seafood in risotto is not mixed, and baked in tomato paste. While I was eating, I couldn't get rid of the taste of sprat in the tomato. The risotto itself is quite tasty, the seafood turned out to be an amateur.
– Lemonades – we tried citrus and mango. Citrus is delicious, although it is not worth its 10 rubles, it is served with dried grapefruit. Mango is too bland, there is no expected sweetness from lemonade with soda. It's also not worth its price tag.
For a restaurant with an extensive cheese list, I would advise to train the staff on knowledge of the wine list. Interesting cocktails. For fondue, the choice of sausages is very specific and it would be better to replace the croutons with fresh bread.
