A quiet , peaceful place . You can be alone with your thoughts . There is a church shop . During the big Orthodox holidays on the territory of the temple, you can see locally produced products ( cookies , kvass ) that are very tasty. One of the most popular icons is considered to be the Barkolabovskaya Mother of God. The monastery itself is located on the banks of the Dnieper River. This is one of those places that you must definitely visit

I have heard about the monastery many times, but I was there in deep childhood with my grandmother. And recently, as an adult, I found myself there. And how much this place impressed me.
From a religious point of view, there are powerful icons, nuns (logically, this is a monastery), i.e. the place is "salted" and has the strongest energy!
If you are not the most religious person, then I still advise you to visit. It's hard not to feel the energy of the place.
And from a layman's point of view, the place is very picturesque, well-groomed territory (low bow for this), a very large territory, you can walk, quietly and calmly, there is an exit to the Bay of the Dnieper.
A monastery with a history and the greatest power.

A quiet, modest monastery. It was the first time, everything is fine: if you don't know something, they will tell you, explain. Everything is well maintained around, the temple is small, but it is very interesting to be in it. We have served the entire service, I recommend you to visit. They say a lot of people come for the holidays.
