Visiting the Dubai Fountain was one of the most memorable moments of my trip. This show of water, light and music made a huge impression on me.
The fountain is located at the foot of the Burj Khalifa and right in front of the Dubai Mall. This in itself creates a special atmosphere. While waiting for the show to start, I enjoyed the views of the skyscrapers and the lake, which serves as a stage for fountains.
When the show started, I was amazed at how synchronously and gracefully the water jets move to the music. Each dance of the fountain was accompanied by a magnificent light show, creating the illusion that the water was literally dancing. The musical accompaniment ranged from classical pieces to modern hits, which added variety and made each performance unique.
The atmosphere on the embankment was surprisingly lively and festive. People from all over the world gathered to see this sight, and everyone seemed mesmerized by what was happening. I felt like I was part of a large international community coming together to enjoy this incredible show.

The entrance ticket costs only 20 dirhams per person and gives the right of passage to the bridge for 2 sessions. For this money, you get the opportunity to watch the show in the very first row. Nicely. In the evening, there are huge crowds of people, you need to work with your elbows and body to get to the fence, or it's better to get on a boat. The first time is a delight, the second is so much, the third is already tired. Burjhalifa looms over all of this. It's hot and humid. There's a similar one in Las Vegas. I advise you to come and crowd in.

It's a gorgeous sight. Fountains are turned on in the evenings with time intervals of 30 minutes. There are usually a lot of people gathering, so it's hard to get through to the best viewing spots. If you have patience, you can borrow them a little in advance.
But at least once it's worth looking at it with your own eyes, because no photos and videos will convey the scale. Combined with classical music, it's doubly cool.

We were in Yerevan - it's prettier there, fewer people, longer duration. There were also in Derbent, also much more beautiful (the largest singing fountain in Russia).

It's a sight worth taking a look at at least once.
Videos will not convey the whole atmosphere of what is happening, unlike when you watch this "fountain performance" live.

The fountains are open every day from 18 to 23 hours every half hour.
