And although it can be said that "I did not come here to overeat," food is still important on vacation, when you are at the hotel all day and when you have paid for all inclusive.
In short, there were days when there was stupidly nothing to choose. The breakfasts are standard: omelette, pancakes, yogurt, different rolls, muesli with milk, toasts and various toppings for them. Fruit. Sausages, cheeses, potatoes. Drinks: powdered juices, coffee. There are fresh ones, but they are paid.
Lunches and dinners for an amateur. the food is empty of spices. Perhaps because the majority of vacationers are German pensioners. There were raw potatoes. There was wooden meat. There have always been jambs in cooking for 2 weeks.
And so - salads, sliced. That's how you look at it: there is a lot of food, but you start putting it on a plate and you come across the fact that it looks strange, I don't eat it at all, I've already tried it and I didn't like it. And as a result - half a plate for happiness to collect. For lunch, cream soups with crackers helped out.
there is a grill, pizza is made in the oven, and shawarma. But either they give out tiny portions, or you have to stand and wait for them to cook again. Everything is long and again creates a crush. In short, it's better to go to the beginning of lunch and dinner. While the seats are free, there is no one in the queue yet))
The space where people collect food from the buffet is small. People are stepping on each other. Bad layout. In addition, the concept of serving food creates artificial queues: pasta is cooked to your taste, meat is fried in front of you. They seemed to want the best, probably, but people line up in an endless queue because of this, thereby blocking access to clean plates and other dishes. There are tables in the same hall where people have already sat down. And you walk past them with this plate, or next to your table, sorry, there are someone's priests in line for a piece of meat. Well, it's just terrible. There are more people than places. Hoteliers need to find another room for the restaurant.
Great hotel. Mostly Germans. There is a Russian-speaking staff. But the most important thing is its own reef. There we saw a bunch of colorful fish, both large and small, and a moray eel, and rays, and even a turtle. This is not the case on many excursions to the sea. They feed you for 3 minutes, but you won't stay hungry. There are bars, there is not much animation.
We were in January 2022, the staff is just super, very polite, caring always and happy to help in everything. The food is varied, there was even sushi, but no more than 2 pieces in one hand (sushi is of course average, but it was still annoying that only 2 pieces could be taken). The rooms are very shabby, the pillows are wooden, you can only sleep on them while sitting, so we took decorative pillows that lie on the bed and slept on them. If you leave the tea, they clean up for 5, if not, then for three. The territory is very beautiful and large, but in winter there are very big winds and since the hotel is the first in line from the desert, there is a strong wind. We swam from a pontoon, beautiful fish, corals, the water is warm. We had a vacation with my husband from December 24 to December 30, 2021. I liked the hotel. Lots of greenery. Beautiful pools. Cool pier. The food is normal. We didn't go hungry. There are 5 of them nearby. You can walk freely on the territory between the hotels, there is only one in your hotel. They all have different colored bracelets. The food is good, and there is a grill and meat and fish, and sushi. One main restaurant is ol inclusive, where there is self-service and there are 2 small cafes that open for lunch, such as snack bars, open from 12 to 17. In the evening, everyone sits near the main building and there is animation. There are no discos or any entertainment for young people, although there is animation - 2 Arab animators. Almost all the staff does not speak Russian. Only in English and German. Vacationers are mostly retired Germans.
We had a very difficult check-in, the rooms were not ready, they even said that there were no rooms at all. They offered to check into a worse room until tomorrow.So get ready for a difficult check-in.
It is customary to tip. The attitude towards you immediately changes. Room cleaning every day, bed linen in spools. There are no shops outside the hotel, small shops with food and everything necessary for snorkeling, clothes are on site.
We stayed at this hotel in August 2023, a terrible hotel, I have not seen such a 5-star maximum of 3+.There were three adults: for three adults, two dirty white bath towels, a bottle of soap, it includes shampoo, shower gel and body conditioner 3 in 1. About the room in the Grand Macadam. There is no kettle in the room, 2 disposable cups, a prehistoric hair dryer (elephant), the toilet is leaking (how much was not reported at the reception - up to one place), the door handle to the bathroom broke 2 times a week - as a solution, removing the dog and that's it, bathroom accessories - a bottle of liquid soap and shampoo. That's all!!! No ear sticks, no slippers, no robes.

The cheapest sausage, cheeses. Juice from Jupi bags (who remembers). The real fresh is 2, 5 euros. For a country with a warm climate and we eat 4 times a year, the fruits were: apples, green melon, dried oranges, some grapes, ginger, bananas. In mango season, we bought these same mangoes ...
Alcohol - beer is unclear from where it is brought, but it seems like beer. The wine is the same. Cocktails are made from a substance called jupi juice and something from bottles of gin, rum, etc. In the evening, empty alcohol bottles are carried to one point for replenishment.
Tourists are trying to cash in and make money everywhere and everywhere. All the staff grovels before the Germans, although we have never deprived them of tips.
We went to Luxor. We were accompanied by police officers on the way there and back. In the places of Luxor, everything is destroyed, there is nothing to look at. No mummies or sarcophagi. Let's go to the Temple of Hstshetsup in the rock. It turned out that there was only one level and the entrance was closed. And two levels from above were stupidly remodeled - they were taken there. Business is nothing personal.
In their eyes, a tourist is a subject who has to pay. From the brightest: the driver of the electric cart offered to drive - or rather, to hold the steering wheel and demanded a baksheesh for it...
People: in short, they will be deceived and they will not turn an eye. You need to talk through all the little things and agreements, otherwise you will be in for an unpleasant surprise that this is the price for one person, and there are three of you, or that the taxi driver was waiting for you while you were at the mall, so pay, or drove - pay. Do not forget that we are a wallet for them... And it doesn't matter that there is an Internet connection and you can find out everything about real prices there, there is an Uber for taxis.

Yes, also.... there is no place to swim with a child, because the declared heated pool is icy (hot water is supplied but it is clearly not enough), access to the sea ONLY from the pier (and there is immediately a great depth). You won't be able to swim near the shore.

The hotel has a very beautiful reef. A huge variety of fish. Even the stingrays were swimming. The housing stock itself is average, not new. The food is normal, if you are not pretentious. There is always fish and meat. It is better not to drink local alcohol)

Which 5*??? A trashed hotel!!! There are zero animations, then on the guitar, then karaoke. The canteen is small, the range of dishes is very, very limited. They try to grill on the street, but after a while you won't eat. The rooms are in the trash. You can only sleep on pillows while sitting. The central air conditioner is a tractor!!!The entrance to the sea is only a pontoon, the sea goes very far away. The beach bar is a barn in the truest sense of the word, a wooden booth where everything from cola to strong alcohol is bottled into plastic cups. Before that, they do not hesitate to paw this cup with their hands inside. There is no beer or cocktails in it. There are two eateries along the beach, but one doesn't have beer either, so you can't get into the other one. The pools are dirty, the water is muddy. Leaves are constantly at the bottom. When checking in, they try to slip a paper that they agree to a better room. Like they improve it for free, but in fact they put it under the roof. Everything is just the same, only the water pressure is barely in the bathroom. There is no alcohol in the lobby bar, just coffee. In fact, a normal bar is only when leaving the department into the courtyard. There is a very strong disappointment from the hotel, especially in the price category in which it is positioned.
The hotel is shit, one-star, the rooms are old, pillows in pellets, hair in food, one barista for the whole hotel makes coffee with a dissatisfied face, the child poured juice as soon as they arrived, a man from the reception came and wiped with the first pillow he found (everything became clear from that moment), took a diving ticket, oxygen ran out at the bottom.The worst vacation of my life.And yes, there is no shampoo, soap, or brushes in the rooms.
We just walked along it when we went to the pontoon, there is a beautiful reef there. Beautiful territory and clean toilets. But you can swim only from a pontoon or go for a very long time in coral.

We stayed at this hotel in December 2021.
Apart from the fact that tips are being asked from you everywhere (as everywhere else), I won't say anything bad.
The kitchen is tidal in a shared restaurant (Egyptian sushi is of course for an amateur)
An excellent range of dishes for every taste.
The staff is friendly. The pier is very attractive (there are 5 hotels around, and only this one has a pier)
It is well maintained, the rooms are tired, but this did not affect the emotions received from the rest in any way.
Nothing is broken, cleaning every day.
There is a cafe on the beach, there is a very tasty fast food.
We had enough of everything!
