The circus inside is in good condition, the original style has been preserved! The only disadvantage is that the chairs are placed very close and it is not comfortable to sit, the knees rest against the next row! The location is close to a metro station and a bus stop, you can get from / to various areas of the city.
There are fountains in the surrounding area, you can relax on a bench in the shade of trees.
The circus building was built more than 50 years ago, the condition is satisfactory, but, of course, major repairs and renovation would not hurt. There are not enough food outlets, there is a crush during the break and not everyone will get the desired treat.

But our circus does not support such a thing where tigers, bears, lions, leopards, monkeys, kangaroos, elephants and many other animals are beaten... a miserable existence behind bars in a tiny circus cage...

The Almaty Circus allows you to return to a carefree childhood. In general, everything is clean. There is still some aura in which the magical action takes place in the rays of the searchlights.
However, the choice of treats for children in the interval is not the same (chips and popcorn). Where are those wonderful cakes (potatoes and custard). There is a lack of a live orchestra, the sound of which modern technology cannot replace. Yes, and the sound on sector A is very loud now, it literally drowns out the viewer. A uniform for circus staff would also be appropriate.
But I am glad that circus performances gather almost full halls, at least sometimes. Go to the circus, go back to your childhood.

We were at the New Year's performance 2023-2024. "Golden Dragon", cool, atmospheric, fun, 2 hours flew by like a flash. We advise everyone to visit and follow the poster. It's great, it's family friendly!!!

A magical realm of skill, art and bravery! The brightest impressions! In the foyer of the circus there is a small museum with real exhibits, and on the second floor there is an amazing closet with dolls depicting famous clowns, made by an artist of the Almaty Circus! I will definitely come back for a feeling of childish delight!

The circus is just bombastic, every performance is thought out to the smallest detail. Mostly people perform, not animals. Also, the hall is very large and comfortable, the chairs are also nothing. But the repair has not been done for probably 15 years.

Oh, the circus, it's the biggest holiday! As a child, we often went, but every time it was straight- wow (maybe because a lot of things were Wow in childhood :) Now I went with my children last year, and my son and I liked everything, some German circus came, now we need to go so that there are more dogs and predators. And our artists performed, everything was at the highest level. These are childhood memories, as well as Gorky Central Park and the zoo and cotton candy.

Visiting the circus with my grandson was just amazing! We enjoyed amazing performances of artists, exciting performances of trained dogs, monkeys, geese and of course the highlight of the program white tigers. Brilliant interplays of clowns. The grandson was delighted. It was an unforgettable visit, and I am glad that we were able to enjoy it together.

The circus has hardly changed, as I remember it 30 years ago, so it has remained in the same pair. Conveniently located, but one disadvantage is the parking spaces, which are so small that you have to arrive early to park your car without any problems. Otherwise, I really like our circus because it's a pleasant time to spend. Visit the Alma Ata Circus and you will be very satisfied!

Of the minuses - they sell twirlers - farts - Luminaries, children at performances wave all this without turning it off, the performance is not visible, they have to swear with their parents so that the children turn off their glowing trash. I understand that the circus earns extra money this way, but it's like popcorn and movie food. I don't go to the movies now because of people eating. In the same way, it is impossible to watch performances in the circus because of the rubbish that is sold in the lobby.
